Piratedave84 replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Hum .... vote: lil' Trumpetking He has flipped town many times after displaying the same behaviour! When I re-read the thread I thought to myself " not again"!! Proceedsd to facepalm and to vite for him! I don't have the energy to write "Pay attention!" 1 million times; not this time!- 249 replies

Habemus Papam!!?? (I'm on my phone and quoting is a bit of a hastle) Yeah boy!!! The mayor has made me pope!!! Trumpet; either you are awful @ reading into people or you are very clueless about mafia. This is not the first time I see you being confused about things which were either very clear and already explained or things that have been clarified in depth. Seriously ... Why did you vote for Danny if you are suspicious of others? Your vote does not make sense! I will vote: lil'trumpetking[\b]- 249 replies

Eurobricks Mafia II: Mafia School: Day One

I'll play along; I am aligned with the town I find Trumpet's fixation on Zepher a bit ... Strange to say the least; Zepher had made a weird point about conversion and death but it is pretty obviois by now that he meant no harm and it was clearly a question of misunderstanding. I dont know why you were arguing/discussing convertibility; this was VERY clear in the sign up thread. These types o discussions only take away from the task ag jand and are IMO just 'fluff'; either to make one appear as helpul or out of plain 'not having paid attention' either way, it's harmful to us! I am not convinced of anyone's guilt/scumminess as of yet but a few people have poped up on my radar; more on that later!- 249 replies

I don't think we know who is 'convertible'; we did not last time. The mumber if I remember correctly was 5 people that could be converted. I find it strange that Zepher is encouraging people to die; who is to say the masons will not get to them first!? How does towny dying help town; I'm not sure I get it?? I am all for playing an 'all in' type of game when you are Vanilla but going as far as pretty much encouraging people to scrijce themselves is quite bold a statement! What if that recruitable person is a PR? What then? Should they still be up in front and have no fear?- 249 replies

I too am of the opinion that it is to bold of a move on day one to volunteer for mayot if he is scum ans as such I would like to vote Mayor: Li'l CorneliusMurdock His intentions seem noble and I would prefer to vote for someone who volunteered (for reasons stated by other; namely that it would be incredibly bold to put yourself in the spot light on day one if you are scum) than for someone random.- 249 replies

Well ... Exploding butt .... Interesting and quite disturbing way to go!!!! Let's catch us some scum! First things first though; we need a mayor! Any volunteers?- 249 replies

Can't.wait.to.play! This should prove to be an exciting game!!

In this setting a top vote approach is best IMO. Under different circumstances; majority may be best! I personally prefer top vote as an approach seeing it virtually guarantees a lynch!
-
Ha! Good point!

I'm curious to see how the first few days will play out; we all know that the influencial players are going to be recruited on both sides first and based on this, the likelyhood of a conversion "block" ealy on is very high; based on how the results would be given, it will be interesting to see how a failed recruitement will be interpreted and if it would be claimed at all. Think about it; if a recruitement fails on night one, are you going to claim (call it out) it on day 2? I don't think so seeing that at that point calling out a falied recruitement would either mean mason (who it is important for the scum to kill) or recruiter-scum (who it is important for town to kill) .... this will prove very, very intersting! What I fear may happen with this setup is that people, at least for the first day or 2, are going to try and determine who is recruitable and to "build" their teams before we see any real involvement, change or results that may garantee a lynch. I can easily foresee a day 1 without a lynch ... unless someone claims something ridiculous ... like lie detector cookies

The more clarifications are made, the more I want to play to see the outcome!!! That being said, I have no objections in waiting a week or two before playing!
-
This should prove interesting!!
-
I was wondering the same thing; could someone be recruited and then converted? Or once recruited they are immune to conversion!? On the topic of masons; I never played a game with masons before and am not too sure of the'weight' they may have on the game. That being said, I thought the 1.0 game was a bit unfair for town so this may very well balance things out!
-
I didn't see a mention of this; will there be a nigt zero as there was last time?
-
I would loooove to play this again seeing I was killed on night 2 and I would like to redeem myself! 1) recent history included Heartlake Heartbreak, EB mafia (untitled mafia 1) and just now The Pearl Mafia 2) the changes you announced here are sufficient to balance things out a bit better than last time. 3) what??? I'm going to assume you mean this in a synonymous way to lurking; if so, I'm no fan of it! It is sort of necesaty in some contexts but as a general rule of thumb; "you sign in, you post" is my philosophy!
-
I never trusted you; it was oiginally a ploy to trap you, to tru and have you slip up. Then when the result came back from the investigation, I was already screwed so I pleaded with you to confess your scuminess!!! What I meant was less "following me" than "had the same idea" which in retrospect was really flawed. Once I came to my senses, I thought this point of view was scummy
-
I would really like to have some feedback/impressions from you guys so as to polish my style for future games!! Also, I have to say that after Day 2 I was convinced or at least pretty sure that ADOH and Legonator were scum based mainly on how quick/willing they were to follow me in my blind rage-fuelled attacks on Def and what I thought was a lie-of-a-town block!!
-
What an interesting turn of events!! I am suprised to find out that it's already over! I really had fun with this game; I was uber-convinced Def was pulling a fast one on us and I may have played that card a bit too hard. I now realize that my gut feeling was bang-on seeing that the only persons, besides Def, I was in communication with (and trusted) were all PRs ... Sandy, Rufus, Hinck and later Scuba! I guess this means I am getting better!!!
-
I know you did ... and I took it in consideration while reconsidering my vote. I am not offended, don't worry! Betty, have you given up? It seems to me that you barely participated in any of the discussions surrounding the lynches and the suspicions. Give us your impressions on the game so far; if you feel you cannot defend yourself then indulge us and tell us whom your main suspects are ... give us anything!
-
Hum.... Interesting points were made here; I think the fact that Michael is pretty much asking to be lynched is very bizarre and as a result of that and the very odd investigation result I shall: Unvote: Michael (badboytje88) Vote: Betty (Ferrik)
-
Yes but your theory would imply that the "scum" day investigator meatshielded with only one or 2 people left in his team ... I see this as unlikely; don't you think? That being said, I pushed for it yesterday and there is no reason for me not to do the same today; I shall Vote: Michael (Badboytje) Should things change, there is ample time to revert my vote
-
The thing you say you forgot is pivotal, it is the first thing that shifted the lynch from Michael to Bristol; it was ... How do we say this ... The "élément déclencheur", the thing that got the ball rolling on the lynch then the investigation result gave it momentum and cemented Bristol's fate. To sum it up; I get agressive when elementary things are misunderstood or in this case misread. I apologize if I offended you!

Michael, can you tell us if you have the ability to steal the jewel back?
