Lol! That's actually very good, hyphenated and everything!! Bon travail! I would not have expected Lynette to be Pierre!!! Voici: [\b]unvote: Alice(rumblestrike) Vote: pierre(callmepie) We must test the theory, our due diligence as town is to ensure that traitors and liars are broughg to the gallows! Die scum! And if it turbs out your are not scum....sorry! Lets try this with the proper code: Unvote: Alice (Rumble Strike) Vote: Pierre (CallMePie) Lets try this with the proper code: Unvote: Alice (Rumble Strike) Vote: Pierre (CallMePie)

Seeing that Mary is very close to a lynch and I don't want to be penalized I shall Vote: Alice (Rumble Strike) But as stated before, my "real" vote is for whomever Lynette is. Hum .... the rules state that: 2. Each day will be played out in its own topic. During a day you will be able to vote to lynch a player. Voting must be done in the following format; Vote: Character (Player). Similarly, unvoting is to be done in the format; Unvote: Character (Player). No other format will be accepted. A majority vote is required to lynch a player, meaning that over half of the remaining players must vote for the same player to warrant a lynch. And 11. Violation of the above rules will result in a 5-vote penalty against you on your first offense, and the death of your character on your second offense. Your character will also die in the most gruesome and awful way possible. I also won't cry. Bob can you confirm that voting is in fact NOT mandatory and that failure to vote will not result in penalty votes?

Is the neutral-thief really an investigative role? The way I see this is that the first steal perfomed would yes in fact reveal a scum but subsequent steals would not amount to anything especially if the neutral-thieves are working together. This of course is all assuming that 1) the role is real 2) there are in fact more than one neutral-thief. What happens after the diamond was stolen from the scum? Does the scum win condition include being in possession of the diamond? this last question would also imply that the scum have another "role"; the thief which would in turn yield an investigative ability seeing that every time they would re-steal the diamond they would have targeted a neutral player which if this happens a few times would then means they could easily identify the menbers of the town and focus on killing them rather than "loose" kills on neutral entity which as said before would prove to be more help to scum then town, This setup, assuming that everything I wrote is true, would mean we are up against a scum team and a group of not-town-helping neutrals ... WTF is this is the setup, we are ducked!

The way I understood this, both when you explained it in your play and when Barb came out later, is that she (or others like her) only needs to get the diamond in her/their hands to win; there was no notion of race (that I recall) seeing that working together would enable them to steal it from one another and consequently they would all win; this leads me to believe we would never find out if/when the diamond changes hand. Do I get this right? this is so confusing and odd Extremely lucky IMO, you went fishing and someone bit!! Kudos on your interogation skills if such is the case!!! We must as a diligent town put this theory to the test, the "voyage" is still young and we can still afford a mis-lynch; we must test the claim. I think this may be hard to reach this late in the day; from what I can see, 6-7 people have asked for the identity and 3-4 have pretty much comitted to voting for her; this may not guarantee a lynch but at least it'll start the pressure cooker!

Jeez there was a lot to read!!! Now that I'm caught up and re-read day one as well, I feel confident about voting for whomever Lynette is; However I shall say a few things first: That was my first thought when I read Barbara's claim of a tracker contacting her; it would be very unlikely that there would be 2 trackers ... well maybe not that unlikely actually, what is both teams had a tracker, a scum tracker (which IMO is Lynette) and a town tracker (whomever contacted barbara) I would really like to know Lynette's name but maybe wait until tomorrow, it looks like Mary will be lynched today so maybe we can maybe get more info on the "real" tracker tonight. Skill? really? I was going to ask you about how you found out she was out of her cabin if she in fact was the tracker; I feel we are maybe missing a piece of the puzzle regarding how you found out about Lynette being out and about but I find your theory generally plausible so I am willing ot overlook this for the time being; but it is odd I have never heard of such a result being provided to a tracker, sounds like a mix between investigator and tracker which again I have never heard of such a role. Yeah sorry about that, both my wife and my 2 year old were sick with the flu so I had to play nurse for the weekend; YAY!!! I know I should not be making excuses during mafia and I apologize! Funny you should publish that list and specifically say that there are likely 2 scum in there; 2 players on that list are pretty high on my list of scummos! - - - All that being said; I feel it is unlikely that Mary will turn up scum, i think she is just clueless. My opinion on this matter at this point matters very little and I am not willing/able to defend her but I have a gut feeling she is town and not scum. Another point is that if Barbara's role is exactly as she stated, there is absolutely no reason for us to ever lynch her; she is no harm to the town and it would better serve the scum to lynch her seeing we would not lynch one of them, my stance on the whole neutral-thief situation is that we should leave Barbara untouched for the time being. My vote will be better placed for whomever Lynette is. Should Lynette's name not be exposed I will then vote for Alice. Jonathan; what is the likelyhood of Lynette's adentity being shared seeing that a few of us have asked?

I dont think 4 had anything to do with it; the fact they were all town sets makes a lot more sense. it can be very plausible that the scum simply picked 2 targets with town sets; as for Jordan, I dont think we can assert that he was picked because of his set number seeing we lynched him mostly based on his odd behaviour. Hence we are talking of 2 targets, not 3; Jordan cannot really be included in any "kill analysis".
-
Well that does suck balls!!! It sure looks like Matthew was either the vig or the blocker; most likely the vig based on the baseball bat and the fact that it qas explicitely said he had a night action. I find it odd that Scott was targeted, I will have to look back on day one as I cannot think atop my head of anyone he could have angered/targeted. A conclusion I can draw is that the scum had an "In" with someone who knew maythew had a nogr action seeing that it would be a very very big councidence that a PR would be targetted on night one. The target selection to me does not appear random and I will therefore go back and review the events of day one; maybe it will help me draw some conclusions!

Hum .... This is interesting, there are few individual who strike me as odd and maybe a bit scummy but nothing that would guarantee a scum lynch. Jordan has been genrally clueless ... who forgets their names ... and passenger number .. I don't buy it. Mary at least has not forgotten her name but still forgot her passenger number, then gave a "wrong" one then a "good" one ... then Someone made a very valid point that they mau have gotten their numbers in a group PM as is the case for the scum team and have overlooked it initally. I tend to believe this seeing that based on the format of my PM, the number was pretty freaking obvious and I find it very hard to believe that it would have been overlooked. Diane jumped right to the front and defended herself in redirecting the attention when confronted with what was in fact a non-issue; this however is not of much concern for the time being as she was once in a dream called "Eurobricks Mafia" and crashed and burned hard and fast, such may have been the case here. So do I hence I shall : Vote: Jordan(Tamamono) Jordan has been IMO over-roleplaying and generally useless as a participant That being said what is the contingency for a tie?
-
You mean Jack, me, right or has jordan asked the same thing?!
-
I also am reluctant to jump on the Mary bandwagon for the time being. It would really suck for the day to end before we get to the building contest as this event will most likely give us more insight and better enable us to place an educated vote. I never participated in such an event before, building challenge that is, but it seems others have. Would those of you who have participate in such an event educate those of us who have not. What were the known precedents? How did it work? Someone said something about hell ... I dont like hell! Would the loser of said challenge die?!
-
none of the above, I was referencing Mary's set!
-
Building contest ... well that explains a lot and brings other things to light! As others have pointed out, some individuals who were trying to steer away from the discussion should be looked at closely ... perhaps tonight ... Wink Wink! Mr. investigator Hum ... interesting point ... How would you participate in a building contest with a set which from what I gather has not parts! Mary, do you care to elaborate as to why you invented a number? Hopefully you could maybe use LDD or I can "lend" you bricks (build by surrogate if at all possible)
-
How convenient No that is VERY unlikely, it would be way too obvious. The numbers have a meaning of some sort but going as far as stating that it would determine affilitation, I don't think so Or Mary is lying .... which based on the numbers we have would be likely. Let's face it, not a single crew/passenger number (even the ones which were not divulged) correspond to LEGO sets; I don't think it's a coincidence that the numbers correspond to sets and therefore Mary's number is invalid or false. Here is another theory (sort of in the lines of Scott's) which implies that Mary's number is in fact 9696; what if passengers/crew without numbers or with numbers not corresponding with a set (any seet) are part of another faction? Overreacting much!!!! Funny you should say that; was it I who asked others for their numbers first? No, My enquiry was based on someone else's theory, I merely compiled the results. As for diverting the conversation ... You just brought the attention to yourself and then redirected it towards me .... talk about diverting the conversation you're acting weird ... Thank you for your reaction, you have now been nominated as my main suspect!!!! PING!!! - - - This came in as I was writting my reply: It's a very odd set though, it does not match/correspond to anything we have seen so far though. I am not saying you are lying, just that it's odd I meant to write "now" not "no"
-
Indeed, at this point it's hard to sau what they may mean but one thing I am pretty sure of is that everyone should have a number. Jordan are you sure you don't have a number?
-
That is indeed very interesting, this means we are looking for at least one other factions, or as pointed out probably 2 ... or more .... please let there be no cult ... We now know 3: 3658 (Lauren-Crew) is http://www.brickset.com/detail/?set=3658-1 Police Helicopter 4200 (Pierre-Crew) is http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=4200-1 Mining 4x4 9491 (Alice-Passenger) is http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=9491-1 Geonosian Cannon 3182 (mine-Crew) is http://www.brickset.com/detail/?set=3182-1 Airport 9468 (diane-Passenger) is http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=9468-1 Vampyre Castle 4201 (scott-Crew) is http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=4201-1 Loader and Tipper 7093 (George-Passenger) is http://www.brickset.com/detail/?set=7093-1 Skeleton Tower 4 City sets, 1 SW, 1 Castle and 1 Monster Hunter set; it is clear that the crew numbers are sets, it it however too early to make anything or deduc anything out of this but City sets seem to be prominent (at least for the time being). I seriously doubt the numbers anything to do with affiliation, but they IMO are related to some aspect of the game. Could more of you volunteer their numbers ro perform a better analysis? Based on the above analysis, this is unlikely Anybody else not got a number? Mine was listed as Crew member and I think Lauren said hers was as well. - - - Seeing all this, can anyone come to any relevant conclusion; I cannot!
-
Well ... this is interesting! Are we going to play dress-up? Shotgun on the walrus costume! No for the required "oh-no" first post: OH NO!!! We must find the killers, horse killers, cult members, burglars before it's too late! Has anyone got lie-detector cookies or any sort of one-time-use-odd-ability-sandwiches?

This would prove to be a very interesting build! This may not be the best place to discuss it, but what would the premise be? What would the base model be? If this goes ahead, I will be quite interested in participating and seeing the model develop! -
I don't know if this is of interest to any of you who may be in the Ottawa area but Wal mart out in Hull (plateau) has like 7 cases of the series 9 CMF.

I am super healthy, have some pretty good travel experience, I love trying new things and the only vacation I need is a nice cruise on the pearl!!!! I would love to come along for the trip!!
