Mafia Mafia: Day Two - Lynch Lunch Hour!
Piratedave84 replied to Zepher's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I don;t think nothing ... he gave us nothing to go on! We have all lynched players for inactivity that were more vocal than him! Inactivity is the slow killer of town, so yes we should probably look at Adam as our secondary lynch today. Speaking of activity; there is a saying that "less is more", which I think is an approapriate way to behave in mafia. Now can the saying be inverted to say "more is less"? In your case probably; you posted 40 times yesterday, the next more vocal person was the Female Lover with 26 interactions (some were actually vote tallies, so let's say she posted 23 times). You were twice as active as other individuals were but several of your posts merely echoed thoughts formulated by others; less is more, remember it and quit hiding behind your high post count! -
Mafia Mafia: Day Two - Lynch Lunch Hour!

Good morning! I have compiled the follwing yesterday which outlines every vote/fake-vote & unvotes and fake-unvotes. You will notice that the First Day Lynch and the Usurper's voting is all over the place. Here are my notes on how the voting for the SK and Cultist evolved (someone has already posted something similar yesterday): 0 - Talking Animal - Vote SK - initial vote on SK 1 - First day lynch - Vote SK - gives lead to SK 2- Godfather - Vote Cultist - Initial vote on Cultist 3 - First day lynch - Unvote SK - Ties vote 4 - Goon - Vote SK - Gave lead to SK 5 - Usurper - Vote Cultist - Ties vote 6 - Roleplayer - Vote Cultist - Gave lead to cultist 7 - Vanilla Townie - Vote SK - Ties vote 8 - Virgin - Vote SK - Gave lead to SK 9 - Male Lover - Vote Cultist - Ties vote; a point had been made by the First Day lynch about the importance of not tying the vote 10 - Cult Leader - vote SK - Gave lead to SK 11 - First Day Lynch - Vote Cultist - Re-ties the vote after he called out people for doing the same; later apologizes; claims has not seen the other votes although 6 mins+ had passed since last vote (Cult Leader) 12 - PGO - Vote SK - Gives lead to SK 13 - BONAD - Vote SK - Seals faith of SK What strikes me as odd in this, and it may be a case of misinterpretation, is that the First Day Lynch tied the vote twice (albeit once was very early in the voting) but was later very vocal about the importance of NOT tying the vote. As for the rest of the day, here are some observartions I made: Usurper (Trumpet)-> Says talking animal (technic) makes little sense (twice)but votes for NPC; First to vote; asks NPC (Ess) to answer 'suspicions' which he naver made clear (maybe referring to the post made by Hinck), and quickly unvotes him; changes his mind and says SK vote "makes more sense"; -> IMO of lesser concern Tree stump (Adam) -> Did not bother to vote; stepped in picked a pill and steped out; made 2 posts with some substance; nothing helpful; called 2 votes + 1 fake vote a bandwagon; -> Should be taken out for lack of participation The Witch (Waterbrick Down)-> Did not bother to vote; made several alelfgations against players but in the end did not vote; Snake Charmer (Darth potato) -> Did not bother to vote; That's it for now -
Mafia Mafia: Day Two - Lynch Lunch Hour!

Why would someone claim such an important role on day 2 ... to Hinck of all people! Mafia lessons learnt by Dave: 1) NEVER tell anything to Hinck! 2) ALWAYS listen to Pandora 3) NEVER tell anything to Hinck! -

Ties were also broken at a later point by The virgin and the PGO; Black out guy and the Jester sealed the deal Sorry, The virgin had voted before the Cult leader! Triple post I'll post an analysis (a chart really; I suck at analysis!) tomorrow since I don't have it handy but there are several votes which were unusual, some individuals voted/unvoted/fake-voted and fake-unvoted 5 or even 6 times yesterday; this is IMO a bit abusive! -
Welcome to the forum! I'm also from the Ottawa region; if you need something, advice or recommendations as to where to shop for Lego, just drop me a line! also, any bacon is good bacon IMO!!!

Oh man this was so much fun!!!! I did not try to be scummy, I though I was the same. I guess my subconsciously knowing I was not town impacted my posts! Upon re-reading my post thanking Def, I see that is was overly polite and much, much different than my other posts! I try to get better and gather tips and tricks every time I play, thanks for the feedback! As for my partner and I's strategy; we had so much fun thinking of how we could mess up the game. I said it before and will say it again, had I not been killed (and now knowing the actual investigator was dead), we could have wrecked havoc in the game!!!!!

Mafia Mafia: Day One - Day One
Piratedave84 replied to Zepher's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
My 'following' the cop was over 48 hours ago; sine then a lot has happened and a lot was said or not said. At that time I was open to the idea of lynching the werewolfe to spare a life as no other suspicions were made. I don't feel my behaviour is inconsistent; I still think the idea of voting for the werewolf is valid and I stand behind my meta-vote for the same person that brought forth the idea. In the last 2 such 'situations' I did not follow my gut and in the long term it was proven That I should have. this time around I will; the cop's behaviour is different from the many other times I have seen him in such contexts, hence my vote. -

Hi! Sorry I was absent! RL was a bitch this weekend!! I have no idea whom to vote for today; I find the 'accusations'/allegations made against the SK to be weak-ish although I tend to agree with the assertions made by the cult leader; maybe something for later days but IMO it's not a good day 1 lynch. As for the individuals who posted analysis; there is/was very little to go on to post such analysis. I have a hard time not perceiving this as scummy, why post an 'analysis' that analyses the first 50 posts of the day? Unless it's way to appear helpful! @NPC: Since I also saw you come in and leave without posting, I should vote for you correct!? A for my vote, I feel my best bet is to metagame my vote. The person that struck me as behaving differently than usual is the Cop(Def). vote : The Cop (Def) -

BAH! OK! ... I totally disagree with with Cop, we must keep the Werewolf alive at all cost; don't listen to the cop, he is not my friend! -

INteresting point; if such is the case (that we can vote for the werewolfe), I would throw my vote in be it just to spare us the usual day 1 mislynch! -

I don't think that logic is sound; he could very well be scum ... it would be a funny situation if he was but it could happen -

Greeeeat! The roleplayer just had to be a pirate ... This will be a long game! Quick question for the host/experienced players: When the pill cart rolls out, do we pick the pills? Is it first come first serve? Can you miss it altogether!? I went and read a day of Prison Riot; will this be similar where each pill will be randomly assigned to a name and then a preset order will determine who picks what? -

I'm a doctor!!! I'm ready to play, this setup looks like this will be on hell of an interesting game! -
I guess I should have said that this was all before the day 4 shitstorm! Once things got heated, I knew it was not you!

First and foremost; Thank you Hinck for the magnificiently presented game. It was a blast to play and almost more fun to watch! Thank you! 2nd: Fhomess ... your dedication to your qwirk must be commended; I tip my hat to you good sir! I meant to address this; I was not trying to be scummy, townie or neutral in my posts. I thought I was being my usual self, funny how it was perceived differently! I did react strongly when criticized; it was the first time that I was put under the miscroscope where I actually had someting (NA) to fight for/try to stay alive for. That was my big mistake, I think I was too worried about dying (which we thought would mean Def could no longer kill) that I lost sight of what I was saying; my defence would have been stronger had it only been comprised of my first and last 'defence' posts. As for the setup; I loved the anonymity, it gave us more opprotunity to concentrate on actual gameplay than trying to metagame people out of the game. I would say this should defeinitely be revisited in the future! Congrats to the scum; there was so much confusion/frustrations within the town and you took advatage of it to acheive a clean sweep; Kudos! I was sure Gertrude was Pandora and that she knew my identity and that this was the reason why Gertrude was so focused on my lynch! LOL! I said it before in my original post; had I not been killed, I think Def and I would have wrecked havoc in the game; we were just in it to mess up people's game nver really intending to win. Some of the strategies we discussed were so ... dickish ... that we opted to simply not act on several of them for fear of being perceived as the biggest pricks ever and to ruin/tarnish our reputations. This was a lot of fun! Thanks guys and gals!

1. 7 2. I don't have a favorite but people probably associate these to me based on EB II; Pandora probably thinks this of me!!!!! 3. The sure is a lot to take in; I never played with inventors or pills before so it's hard for me to assess the impact thay can have on the balance of the game. It looks like there will be a lot to remember and to tak into account when trying to figure out who's who! Should be interesting

LEGO 10240 Cockpit Stickers applied using water?
Piratedave84 replied to Haderach's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Probably rubbing alcohol; I used a similar technique to apply a shiled to my Iphone, I can't see why it would not work with LEGO stickers. There is a tutorial here : http://ishieldz.com/apply -
