Some stuff I built

I like the micro-motor car, it's very cuty. And it's undoutably the smallest Lego-RC car I've seen !! -
Trial Jeep
Jurgen Krooshoop replied to nico71's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
My compliments for yet another fantastic model by master-builder Nico71. And big big thanks for taking the time to provide high-quality building instructions for the entire Lego-community !! Your work is being greatly appreciated. -
Oh, I completely agree with you, DLuders. If I were TLG, I'd disqualify the member immediately, knowing this. As you said, these kind of submissions would render such a competition completely useless. It's not the first time a model is "stolen" from me, but I will not let it prevent me from giving my work to you guys, who do appreciate it. I'd rather use the time to construct something new than trying to chase everyone who tries to abuse my models.

MOC Revolutions

Thanks for including my models, I feel honoured 8-) -
First of all: thanks for noticing, it's being appreciated !! And indeed, This is JCB 4CX my backhoe loader (as you can see here, and I never submitted it (or any) models to the Technic Challenge competition. I directly recognized the model & my picture. So someone just copied my picture. Personally, I don't really mind, If someone thinks he/she will really feel by better stealing a model and trying to win a contect with it, or sell the instructions of one of them (which are always available as free download on my website), than they must do so. I don't say that doing such a thing is OK, cause it's definately not. But I'm not going to waiste any energy, trying to fight it, cause I'll never be able to win. This is the risk of putting something valuable on the internet for free, and I'm willing to take the risk. I don't have any interest in making money out of this hobby, and I don't have interest in winning any competition, I just want to share what I make and give people more Lego-fun, cause it is fun !!.I feel sorry for those people who try to disrupt these pleasures.

MOC's by drakmin

I'm pretty positively amazed by what I see here. Your X-wing looks fantastic, and the DeLorean is very promising too. Looking foreward to seeing the progression. -
I use MLCad for making digital Lego models, LDView (through LPub) for making construction-step-images and LPub for making Parts-list-images. All these programs can be downloaded for free at www.ldraw.org. Then I put everything together in MS Word. Unfortunately, some image-quality is lost after converting the Word-document into a PDF-file. I still haven't found a good conversion program. BTW, it would be really nice if you could answer my question as well. I'll respect any answer, as long as you're honest. Thanks big time !!

After seeing these Nurenberg-pictures, I'm 100 % sure that I will add this set to my collection. Having all these orange parts, pneumatic parts and new tires would be enough for me to get it. And who knows, maybe I'll make an Ultimate 8110 ... (with instructions) for all of you who (& me) want a fully RC model.

Skyliner, I completely understand & respect your point, as I know how incredibly much time it takes to make full instructions. But still I provide my instructions (& CAD-files) for free as I consider it a great honour if other Lego-fans build my models and get inspired by it. And it's my way of fighting against our economic world, where everything is about money . The parts are expensive enough already. And if you provide free instructions, it's much easier to see how well it is constructed, preventing people from saying parts are forced together. I would definately build the Countach if instructions were free. Would it be possible to mail me the instructions at info@jurgenstechniccorner.com without having to pay for them ? I promise I won't distribute them to others. If I'd have to buy them, then I will not build the model, sorry.

Classic Sportsbike

Very good motorbike, my compliments !! -
You're so right: Yellow is perfect. But I had to chose between building it in red and not building it al all, cause of the rare yellow parts. So I chose to build it in red. At least now I know that it's a really good model. Most definately Orange !! To bad there are no instructions for the Countach. I consider it a great honour if other people build my models. Makes me smile to see pictures of them. Wouldn't it be great if we would all be able to build this model ?

Thanks for this Blakbird! I'm very homoured to see my car in the same pictures as those other fantastic supercars. Here's the link to the instructions of the Little Devil (and other models) for all you guys and girls who want to build it. I've had the chance of building the Murcielago (in red instead of yellow unfortunately) and the Gallardo as well. These are indeed constructed differently than my Little Devil. These models use some very creative techniques to give them their awesome shape. I recently rebuilt my Little Devil in black (I renamed it to Black Devil) and had it on display together with crowkillers' Murcielago. Although it's only 40 % of the models displayed by Blakbird, it was a really, really nice sight.
