  1. We are the Borg. You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile.
  2. Thanks for the nice comments everyone . Sure, it's somewhere inside the big Medieval building guide pinned on top of the Historic forum. Here's the link. What are you talking about? Maybe you're experiencing this glitch?
  3. Just a little something I did to celebrate Halloween. Enjoy . And an overhead shot: Credit for the tree design goes to Derfel and his great guide over in the Historic Forum.
  4. Looking good Taz, your landscaping is excellent, and I love how you did the round window (and the door too!). Hoping to see an interior soon, and some hobbit minifigs .
  5. Or they're all just paralyzed with fear .
  6. Wow, I don't even know where to begin... Clearly you're an expert model builder, but your photography is just over the top... I love that frog picture, not only does your frog look very authentic, but the way you've taken that picture makes it so life-like. And of course, your bat and pumpkin are excellent too.
  7. Happy birthday Peppermint_M, hope you have a great and action packed day .
  8. Oo, I just discovered this thread, lots of great funnies in here (especially your's oky!), keep'em coming people!
  9. That's a really funny crossover . And a beautiful build, love how you did the ground . "I'm Sensei Wu" "Sensei who?"
  10. Indeed I am .
  11. Happy birthday Hinkley, may you have lots of Fabul[and]ous gifts
  12. Thank you . I used a black backdrop and added the stars with an airbrush tool.
  13. Oooo, a raffle! . I'm gonna have to try to enter something into this, those figures are supercool!
  14. Thanks . I love trans clear . Thank you, although not everyone agrees with you that it's very detailed . I wish I had more Ice planet sets back in my childhood... I only had the base and the big spaceship . Chill dude . Trans neon orange is sweet . I really miss those funny and cool pictures in the catalogues these days, they have become quite boring... I would have loved to go with the original color scheme, but I just didn't have the necessary pieces for that right now... Maybe next time . And then I'll include more OOMPH too like you put it so nicely . You never noticed it? You couldn't have been looking very hard on those pages then .
  15. Awww, he's so cute! Looks just like the "real" Pingu . Careful though, it looks fragile in the hands of your daughter .
  16. Thanks, I guess . You're probably right, I could do better. The interior is a bit empty . It isn't just thrown together though, I have put a lot of thought into it. But this was my first sci-fi build, and I made it as a sort of test to see if I liked building space stuff, which I did . Unfortunately, I'm quite limited on space at the moment, and making further improvements to this would have required some bricklink orders, and I just couldn't have this taking up space on my desk for several more weeks, waiting for that at the moment. Maybe some other time, I'll make a new and improved version, a 2032 version . Thanks, glad you like it . Oh yeah!
  17. Anyone remembering the Ice planet 2002 theme? The Ice Station Odyssey was one of my favourite sets as a child, and it has one of the most iconic female minifigs: the so called Ice planet babe. As a tribute to her, I've built my take on an Ice planet base, populated solely with female researchers. Oh, and a bit more of history on my inspiration for this is this page from a catalog from 1993. As a child I just loved that image of the ice planet people carrying that blacktron guy encased in ice out of the ice cave (and I still love that image!) There's a couple of play features as well. A spinning door on the front (as you can see in the pictures, it has been turned around from the previous to the next photo). And there's an elevator that can move up and down. The top floor is removable for better access to the lower level. This was my first sci-fi creation, and I quite enjoyed making it. There might be more coming from me in the future .
  18. I gotta say I do agree with that . Your contestant had some pretty looking builds that clearly hypnotized the judges, but his ideas were really no good. I really liked your serpent, and I think you could have won it with just a few improvements on the environment around it (especially the water could have used some more work ). And your idea of using Norse mythology was awesome . Better luck next year , unless I decide to enter next year and you become my opponent .
  19. Seconded, that egg is just brilliant!
  20. You might want to go check out byggepladen.dk, the site of the Danish AFOL community.
  21. No, it's not. If I change region to UK it gets added to the bag, but when I change back to Norway it gets removed again, with a message that it's not available in the country I have chosen.
  22. This promo isn't available in the norwegian S@H, so I'll be missing out on in .
  23. I love that chili's building! The brickwork on the front is great, and the way you've made the entrance makes it look so inviting. Also awesome job on the sign and chili . And of course, the interior is nothing short of brilliantly executed. And great job on those alternate models too, it's always fun to see what can be done with only the bricks of one set .
  24. Well, that was a short mafia game career for me . I hope I'll get to try again some time soon. In the mean time, I'll be rooting for Town, go find those scum bastards and avenge my death! Thanks for letting me play badboytje88.
  25. I'm glad you're addicted to them, because your shots are excellent . Keep'em coming!
