  1. Here's a photo of the cockpit with pilot. As you can see it's very small so I can't say if Porkins would fit inside but any regualr minifigure can And about the cart, here's the picture I used for reference :
  2. Yes the landing gears are retractable, you have good eyes ;>) I have more photos and some show a bit more but still need to prepare them before publishing. And Yes again the cokpit fits a pilot. You get a A+ Probably, but that's why I like minifigures, you know they have so few point of articulations that they sometimes look stupid and it's funny
  3. Hi SW lovers, Just a quick made dioarama for my new x-wing model. And BTW a rebel cart transport. Now you will ask me why the rebel cart doesn't appear on the diorama? Well, I build the cart just a few days after so too late... maybe one day... Check this instructions link on how to build the Rebel Cart.
  4. Hey Lego, don't stop the Pirates line, we want more!!! Signed
  5. Hello, When I made my Higgins Boat I realised that I had no WW2 US helmets and they were impossible to find. But after many nights of search, I succeed to get some of the Oxford ones. Now if some people are interested in buying some for their armies, just PM me or contact me from my website.
  6. "Super fly cool"! ... if that expression exist. And I'm a big Star Trek fan. Congrats to your friend and thanks for sharing.
  7. Hmmmm, cookies... er I mean that would be cool but a Sherman need the larger version of the landing craft the : Landing Craft, Mechanized (Mark 3) — LCM 3.
  8. Thanks for the reference image, as a lazy guy I like when people do the job for me You're right I only use new bricks for my models but I have a "super secret weapon" to make them shine.... I clean them! With a tissue (the one you get with sunglasses) to remove fingerprints, dust (dust seems to appear on new bricks 10 minutes after you get them from a sealed box?!) pizza's oil, chocolate ice cream etc... About the bubble I first previewed to use horizontally but found that the interior was big enough to place it vertically... lucky chance.
  9. Hey Batman fans, Here's my last Batmobile from Batman the Brave & the Bold cartoon. It's been a very interesting model to build as it's really different from my previous ones and even if at first I tought I will became crazy because all those curves! But finally I found a way to make it, hope you'll like the result. More photos on my website As usually, questions and comments are welcome.
  10. Hello, US customisers and forums oftenly mention "vinyl dyes" that they use to change Lego parts colors. (example here) and of course I'd really like to try that for my models, but this product is unknown in France!!! So I was wondering if any fine european customiser knew a place/online shop where I could buy some? "Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi; you're my only hope. " ... well you see what I mean. Thanks guys.
  11. I filled the boat with minifigures and found that 22 can fir in. The real boat can accept 36 soldiers but you know our dear Lego minifigures are a bit ... chubby Here's the photo : I put a blank version of this photo on Flickr so you can write your own text if you want?! Link to my Flickr photo
  12. The crates are just a stylistic composition, the kind of things you build when bored and then I found a good use for them. As many people I'm facinated by very simple objects made with Lego parts like barrels, containers etc... and I really don't know why? Maybe because TLC don't produce enough accessories for maniacs like us? I'm still figuring a way to get more Oxford helmets, if that became possible I'll post a message in the sale forum.
  13. Thanks. Your model is cute but seems unfinished! Is it me or do you prefer building pirate's ships ??? The helmet comes from a 1/18 scale US soldier by 21th Century Toys because as you know it's no more possible to buy them from brickarms But I'm still trying to get some Oxford ones and may succeed soon...
  14. Thanks. Yes WW2 tanks are model I hope to build soon. And you missed my 2 Mechas : the Valkyrie & Alpha Fighter from Macross/Robotech in the SciF-Ci forum sub-theme? Sorry I couldn't resist... ... it just that I'm late in posting my MOCs so that a lot of them at the same time.
  15. Hello military fans, Here is a new model I made very recenlty: a Landing Craft of World War II also called "Higgins boat". Someone ask me to build one and it has been a real pleasure because I wanted to make such a model for a long time. I hope you'll enjoy it too. As usually, more photos on my website.
  16. In fact I don't remember these colors but I'm not an expert on Macross/Robotech/Mospeada, I just love the mechas If you have a link to a photo or website that'll be interesting. I first tried to have expanding legs and arms as they are found on toys but I gave up because it was not strong enough and reliable. The legs just can bend in diffent ways so all the modes are possible.
  17. Thanks for your nice comments guys. Yes, these models transform from robots to gerwalk to fighters and believe me it has been pretty (and I say pretty because I'm polite but I mean F...ng) difficult to make. And keeping good proportions isn't easy either, sometimes Lego parts just seems too big. But the good part is to post photos and get compliments No other Macross projects for now but if that change I will of course post them here.
  18. That was fun to search for "serious and silly names" for the gadgets. No, it's a different one, it's just my style that makes some of them look similar... But my next one (I will post photos soon) will be totally different. The side doors open manually as the mine launcher, the blades and the concealed machine guns but the harpoons have a "high-tech ejection system"... ok it's just a lever under the car I have a bad sense of humour, I admit that.
  19. Hello Robotech fans, I'm late in posting so here are 2 models from Robotech : The Veritech Alpha "Shadow Fighter" VFA-6X from Mospeada / Robotech Battroid mode Gerwalk mode Plane mode And the Valkyrie from Super Dimension Fortress Macross / Robotech Battroid mode Gerwalk mode Plane mode Hope you'll like them.
  20. Hi Batman fans, Recently Mr. Bruce W. contacted me because he needed a special car for top secret missions. So I phoned my old friend Q, from the division of research and development to see if he could lend me some ultra-secret plans. When I finally had him on the phone, he said: "Who are you and how did you get this number? I warn immediately the security services." But no one came? Maybe because I placed my phone call from my neighbor's home... which moved mysteriously?! Anyway, I made it by myself and here's the result: the Bond-Batmobile. As always comments and questions will be welcome. More photos on my website : Bond Batmobile
  21. Ok, that explains why they look so similar Brickforge items are great, I love them, I bought some of their helmets that's why I know they are not the ones I need. I repeat that I want to buy the Oxford helmets means I'll pay twice the price they were. Thanks.
  22. Hi, As far as I know, Brickforge has German style helmets. But I will check thier website again. PS I noted that Cobi and BestLock have military figures with removable helmets but their photos are too small so I can't clearly see what type of helmet it is and if they are ok for Lego figures??? Does anyone knows that? Thanks
  23. Hello, I'm looking for WW2 US helmets M1 type. Brickarms don't have them anymore in stock. The Oxford ones could be ok for me but I can't find them anywhere. Does anybody has some to sale or know wher I could buy a fistfull? Thanks, Eric
  24. Pleased you like it guys, it's a reward for me. As I wrote this model has been difficult to build but now I'm happy I made it. The Tumbler to Batpod is another weird idea but maybe more usefull than the Batmissile. I mean how many streets in Gotham are so small they require you remove the half of your car to drive in? The Batmissile appears in the 1992 movie : "Batman Returns".
  25. Hello, Here's my last Batmobile custom, the Bat-Missile. It's been a very interesting model to make even if the retracting wheels system was so "fun" to do that it almost made me crazy More photos on my page : Bat-Missile Enjoy, Eric / BaronSat
