Hello, Well it's been hard to choose where to place that one, I first wanted to show it in the license section of the forum, but as it's not an existing one (and probably will never be) the "Other themes " section sounds right. Anyway here's my version of an old Kenner toy from the 70's : the OSI Headquarter. As you may know I'm a fan of this show and have already made customs of the figures, so I needed some playset to display them ... and have fun too ... and BTW it was a good occasion to make an Oscar minifig. So here it is : See other photos on my website by following that link : OSI Headquarter Lego MOC Another one is coming, just need to work on the photos and it'll be there soon. As always, if you have any question or comment I'll be pleased to hear you. Eric / BaronSat

Thanks guys and thanks to the people who voted for me. And I would like to congratulate all the competitors as I had a lot of fun with all those entries. The prize I won is : Demon Miner by Brickzone.net As noted on this page Voting Poll I'll proudly display it (on my shelves and on my website) when I'll get it... means just after the postal services strike will be over Now I'd like to offer a free digital instructions version of my Skeletons Bridge model to all the competitors. Just PM me if you're interested.

I voted for The Kid, hope other competitors won't mind But as I said his vignette made me laugh and was scarry at the same time. I know that because that situation happened to me Anyway good job everybody, I had a lot of fun.

Sorry, too late. Come back in 100 year (or more)... hey we're not in a rush.
-
You're right the photos are really poor and you should be condemned to death for that... I think someone is named Death here... Death, please are you around to apply sentence... Death??? Ok, never mind, your vignette is funny and made laugh a lot, so thanks for that.

Thanks. I recently found the comic that inspired me for that model and I like this Batmobile a lot, one US friend wrote it's "bad megablocks" and I agree... even if I'm not sure to get what that mean Well a Lamborghini is cool but maybe it fits better to James Bond than Batman, in my opinion. Maybe we have a new hero here the Bat-Bond or the James-Man (no, this mix is stupid) Yes, I'm french, that explain why my english is so poor

Thanks. BTW, which one is your favourite? Yes wheels are big but model is big too. I'm myopic, maybe that's a reason why? Thanks. Yes, black is a f..ng color to shoot, but with some good light it's possible to have 1 or 2 good photos on the 2489 made

Come on guys, I know there's a lot of good customisers here and I'm sure you have some great idea somewhere in your zombi brain (brraiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiin). Let show us your entries now.

Cool idea. I don't often participate to contests but couldn't resist to this one. I just posted my entry, hope you'll like it. Eric

If you wonder why my price are higher than TLC , just remember I'm a guy who work alone, not a worldwide company

Wow, wow and wow! Can't find anything more to say! Really a beautiful MOC, congrats Sir Nadroj. P.S. WOW!

Thanks for the "update" of SW MOC index.

I already posted one here. Death Star For the rest, they are old models so I'm not sure it would be very interesting as people may already know them? Excepted the Steamspeeder maybe?
-
Great! Thanks a lot! If ever you want to add some other of my customs (like the death Star) and need the links, please tell me. Yes, take a photo of the shuttles (Lego and mine) together is a good idea. Too bad I din't think to that when I shot the model now I don't have it anymore!!!

Thanks and I'm always pleased to share with you all. I can't say how long it tooks really but I started the work on late February (2008) and took the final model's photos on early July! But as I don't know how many time I spent on it each day (or week) I can't really calculate... but that makes a lot of time... really

Who want to see Palpatine wearing a thong? I understand your point of view about the color scheme, I was probably in a good mood when I made the interior. As i wrote previously it's not accurate to the movie otherwise there would have be only lines of seats... not very exciting for me.
-
Good idea, thanks a lot. I'm not a member of Rebelscum and have no good reason for that.... PS On Rebelscum forum you wrote "the interior needs more attention"! Don't you like the Emperor's lounge or is it because I didn't ad a bar with topless waitress?
-
Yes, I will put a link on the shuttle's page in a few time. But remember I'm not TLC, just a guy who work alone, so this model is intended for serious collectors as it is very expensive. Much more than the 10179 for example. Just check the page in a few days and you'll know.
-
Thanks. Yes the interior isn't movie accurate but as it's the private Emperor's ship, I wanted it to have some comfortable seats. Chairs are for the troops Creating instructions is a long and boring process (in my opinion) on such a big model it would takes weeks or months to complete. So I haven't previewed to make instructions and the model will be sold* build (*that to answer skipper24 question at the same time). As many people I was upset by the change of color TLC made in 2003 but finally I now enjoy this color asit's good for that type of customs. Finally I wonder why I use flesh tone for the Emperor??? Probably because I'm in a "flesh" mood for my minifigs these last weeks???!!! Another explanation is that Palpatine enjoyed his trip in the private lounge so much that he looks healthy at the arrival

Thanks. You're right it's huge and heavy, made with 3200 parts. No need to say it takes a lot of room
