  1. Hello, First I hope it's not a problem I write this thread her, otherwise I'll cancel it. Back in 2003, there was a page dedicated to Lego ads on my website that I had to stop due to lack of time. These weeks I met several people and had queries so I decided to relaunch the ads. So if you have something to sale or buy or trade visit my Ads page and leave a message. Link Enjoy, Eric / BaronSat
  2. I don't like Bionicle either, because most of the part are useless for MOCs. But did you saw what that guy can build with his Bionicle parts... Link If TLC produce Bionicle like that I would be very pleased to buy them... >:-)
  3. That depends of the models. But the larger models have better sales as sets than as instructions. Maybe because people don't have the parts and don't want to have to "chase" them???
  4. That is selling kits... what I'm doing at first... is my website not clear enought about that???!!!
  5. Yes, it takes a lot of time, sometimes it's boring and not always profitable... let me check... ok I mentioned everything. X-D
  6. Not necessarily because shipping depends of the weight, but for some large models that may be possible. If the model is partially destroyed I could send photos or some rought pictures from MLCAD. If it's totally destroyed... and that never happened on the first sets I sold... well I should think to any solution but have no idea for now :-D Honestly I'm a bit fed up with instructions these days and I wonder if I won't be back to my old system and sold only built models??? 8-|
  7. No I just advertise here because they are Pirates related?! That's a good idea. I have another question for the fans : What would you prefer to buy : - a build custom models without instructions or - custom instructions alone
  8. That's interesting and help a lot. Could you tell me, for example, what other models (not specially mines) you would like to have instructions for? I'd like to have more opinions form more people, so go ahead and "unleash hell"... er I mean write what you think ;-)
  9. Hello Pirates, I have put on sale by the instructions for my model Puerto Brico. To download them go to my website on this page : http://www.baronsat.net/baronshop/bshop_instructions.htm If you have any question, I'll be pleased to answer. :) Eric PS I hope it's ok that I advertise here, if not please tell me.
  10. No it was in a large general shop in Montreal (Qu
  11. And I remember I saw it when I was in Canada in 1997 but din't bought it... But never mind I generally manage to build with the "few" stock I have ( ;-) ) if ever I need some parts I'll ask to the Pirate brotherhood... I mean all of you *sweet*
  12. What I really like is the island idea, my favourite set was the 6270 Forbidden Island. I just have to find what other set could be add to make something new... maybe the 6249 Pirates Ambush... this set wasn't available in France so that could be interesting?
  13. Ok, hope it's not too big???
  14. I'd love to. Just add an heliport for the postman so I can have my Lego orders. A satellite for the DSL. A submarine for fishing oysters a drugstore and maybe a bridge could be usefull too and... Anyway that makes me want to try to mix several sets as you did. It's cool.
  15. I like this kind of models a lot, small but with a lot of places. And it looks cosy too... no kidding.
  16. I have a few left photos like this one showing the inner part (just under the gunner turret) and this one I have just made not a lot of action but good view. I have 2 photos left from the Trash compactor "working" if someone want to see them... That's an interesting idea but for now I consider I have finish with the DS and want to build something else like Bespin or Xavier mansion. But I haven't build anything interesting these days... can't concentrate.
  17. Oh, so you don't speak Bricklink. You should start to learn it's usefull. ;-)
  18. Hey, first I'm french so english is just a second language. Secondly I'm sick, means my brain is a bit "cloudy". So if my english isn't ok for I can write it in french and you can use an online translator. :-P Thanks man. :-)
  19. No the compactor floor is part of the general floor. I still need to make some photos of the unbuild Death Star to show that, but I'm still shaking ( *wacko* ) a bit because of "end of flu". Hope I'll be ok in the next days. Ah, the question I was waiting for. I have been inspirated by Kaminoan (FBTB moderator and great decals makers) who use a cutted 1/2 Technic pin, so I cut a "Hinge Bar with 3 Fingers and End Stud" (2433 on BL) and use it as a third leg. The third foot is of course a black "Slope 30 1 x 1 x 2/3" (50746 on BL catalog).
  20. It happened during a "Photoshop crisis"... you know when you can't help doing things. :-D
  21. .... Harry Potter Bionicole Quatro (Duplo is large enogh, why have bigger?) ... Bionicole??? If it's Bio-Nicole Richie = the worst set ever If it's Bio-Nicole Kidman = that's cool Sundays are boring sometimes, thanks for that typo.
  22. Yes, even if Chewie has to remove it's "suit" first. I don't mind. The more Death Star we'll have the more fun that will be. Ok, when we'll have 100 000 Death Star photos we'll have to make a new tread, but we'll see and anyway a moderator will tell us. ;-) A close up of the Imperials at work
  23. It's very difficult and sophisticated... no just kidding the wall is built with 2 hinge bricks in it ;-) like that ?
  24. Maybe but in the begining all I wanted was to cover the poor Leia as she was naked. Anyway that's a good idea, just have to find some brown and black vinyl. Good idea too! Do you see other things that could be "vintagerized"? Another close up : the trash compactor
  25. Yes on the original toy the cockpit looks definitively like an X-wing, I knew that but I think the Lego x-wing cockpit isn't very interesting alone, the Tie cockpit is much more characteristic. So I decided to be less accurate and chose the part that was the most esthetic in my opinion. When I was a kid I hate cardboard toys (like a Western fort I had) because everything was flat but since I learned to appreciate the magic of drawings and the spirit insuflated by the artist. There's many little stories in that toy, it's like a comic becoming a toy. I know and love the Cloud City playset and as I'm thinking to a Bespin model since I have finished the Death Star, I try to see how I could use it in a larger model ??? Yes I realised that I didn't shot the model unbuild and it's important because the parts are assembled same way as on the original toy. A new photo today, a close up of the Death Star gunner
