Thanks guys, pleased you like those. They are about the same size excepted for Rebo and his piano that are a bit smaller. As I don't have the palace yet... ... I don't know if they will fit. But anyway when I see the size of the building I'm a bit doubtful...
-
Hi With the new Jabba's palace set to come I wanted to have a new Rebo Band to put in, but my previous version from 2003 was a bit... outdated. So I build a new one and here it is. and the old one for comparison Opinions, questions, comments and pizzas are welcome.

Thanks for your detailled comments. Yes the MK 1 looks like a bathtub but it's a classic and it was fun to build. Johnny Torch is demonic? I ddin't realised that... maybe I was in an evil mood when I made him .... Muhahahahah! No idea for a new Marvel cration, I build Galactus and the Sentinel before I have the Super Squad Hero version just behind me on my shelves means I see them a hundred times a day! yes I love these toys they are small and chubby just like our lego minifigures. Done, thanks for the tip. Hero Factory parts from the gorilla like model. Thanks. Pleased the force field works because I couldn't help to think : "Hey, it's a trans clear disk, that sucks". Maybe Invisible girl's charm may help. Thanks. Ok, human torch is scary, just read what I wrote previously. The flame's trail is a classic... I think?!

Pleased you like it. Thanks. Thanks. Well Galactus like many other characters had differents looks throught the years. But yes it's mainly a part's problem. It's the old school Fantasticar, weird but historic
-
Hello, I love Marvel so I had to build that... one day or another. I first build the bathtub...er I mean the Fantasticar but I thought something was missing, something very big and colorful... something like Galactus. So here's they are. Hope the pics are not too big, otherwise mods don't hesitate to tell me or resize them, thanks. Comments and questions are welcome.

Hello, I just can't wait for the Marvel line so in the meanwhile I build this model and had some play More pictures in myFlickr folder. Enjoy.

I just realised I didn't noticed the PUBLISH button on Cuusoo so the project wasn't viewable!!!! It's fixed but I feel very.... stupid!!!
-
Thanks guys. No and I can't say if I will ever modelize it and produce instructions because it's a very fragile item hard to handle so I wonder if people would like such a thing?
-
Thanks, that helps but I don't worry because as I wrote I think he's a young fan and his intentions were good. Thanks guys. Yes I know many people would like to see product but how many? We'll have the answer sooner...or later.

Hello, Today I get noticed by someone via Flickr that my Bantha pic has been used for a cuusoo project. The "little burglar" must be a young fan so I asked him to remove it. But the idea was good so I created a cuuso project for this model, now let see how many people will like it??? if you want to support, the adress is : My Lego Bantha And BTW the model is this one:

Did dinosaurs could see colors? I don't know, but we; the human; can really see the difference. I'm a mature adult too and I really enjoy shiny colors but come on yellow parts are so common, I'd prefer to find more of the new colors in the new sets. Earth tones are no boring but more realistic and offer more opportunities for building. And about shiny colors the lime one is really cool but too rare. Constructions vehicles looks better in blue, sports cars in red (and BTW they are faster ) and submarines are cool in white and blue. Yes, yellow bricks can be usefull from time to time but in small quantities. And last thing, kids loves dark colors when they can use them but most of the time they enjoy building in mixed colors. But those vehicles are almost entirely yellow and it hurts my old eyes But as I wrote the dinos by themselves are cool as the figures and accessories. It's just that there's too much yellow, but you understood my opinion on this point.
-
I agree totally. Are these sets finals or prototypes? Why using so much yellow parts when dinosaur subject would require brown, green, dark green and lime? Is there any fan that need to stock more yellow parts? Most of the time yellow parts are useless! It's really disapointing. Of course the new dinos beats are cool but it's a bit few to buy a set, in my opinion.

Damn, I wanted to say unpleasant things about the other two winners, as "they were lucky" or "they probably paid people to vote for them" but due to their fair play I can only congratulate them . Congratulations guys, your creations are worth it. Congratulations to all participants and thank you to EB. And thank you to everyone who voted for me... you have good taste

That helps a lot, I knew there would be some nice dutch guy here. Now I will mark these stores on my paper map as my smartphone will be useless . Too bad there's no shop selling spare parts... but it's the same thing here Thanks.

Hello, I preview to spend a very days in Amsterdam soon and I was wondering if some people could give me good informations on where to buy Lego sets or parts in the town? As a tourist I could get around on feet, so please don't tell me about some great store that is located at 10 km "Help me ObiWan, you're my only hope" Thanks ... or bedankt

Thanks guys. Thanks. No reason why I build the T-600 instead of the T-800, it just looks so massive that it seems good. And I like the rusty look of that type too Yes there are many differnces beetween thse two endoskeletons, see that pic for comparison:
-
Thanks. The body armor was a must but those 1x1 silver round plate are of variable quality!!! Thanks. In fact the feet are similars to the ones on my T-600 (see terminator) good ideas are reusable endlessly and so the figures stand very well. Plus they are funny.
-
Thanks. In fact those were easy to do but I build a human character (Taylor) too and it's so ugly that I finally didn't use the pics

Hello, I wanted to build these for a long time but it's only a few days ago I made them... don't ask me why, I have no idea why some models take so many time to born? Anyway here are the little apes, from the 1968 movie, that everybody loves: First Cornelius and Zira Gorilla soldier (which seems happy to have a new stick to catch those dirty humans without having to put his stinking paws on them) and general Ursus (that looks doubtful) Zaius and the Lawgiver statue (no Judge Dredd here ) Zaius (again? That ape thinks he's better than the others ) and some old monkey that makes me think to Mr charlton Heston as seen in the Tim Burton movie. And a group shot. "Attention, everybody says : Banana"! Hope you like them. Last thing to the mod,if my pics are too big, please resize them or tell me.

Thanks. In fact I added a few more figures, than there should be. Jar Jar replaces the Dianoga as it was on holidays in Scotland (poor joke). And yes I completely forgot I applied that layer with drawing effect, congrats "eagle eye". -
Hello, For the ones who missed my two other posts, this custom model is made with these two ones : http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=57790 and http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=58468 It's a tribute to the Kenner Micro Collection toys line from the early 80's. For references to the original toys see the links on others posts. So here are the last pics for this work where the models are placed together, this time I edited the background to make the pics look as they appeared in old catalogs See here for an example : Catalog entry Note to the mod : I know my pics are a bit larger than authorised but I think they are easy to "read" at this size as the model is big. If it's a problem, please tell me.

[MOC] "Micro Collection" Death Star Compactor
BaronSat replied to BaronSat's topic in LEGO Star Wars
To everybody : thanks guys, I'm pleased you have fun with my work. So I think it's time for me to publish the photos of the two sets together now. I think they just don't know the Lego bricks as well as us, poor people they are just ANFOL (Adult Not Fan of Lego), it's sad That and the fact people generally can't understand (or don't want to believe... not like Mulder) it's possible to build something with Lego bricks without any instructions! Hard to believe for our community but I'm sure that must happen to many builders here, am I wrong?
