[MOC] Star Trek TOS K-7 station : The trouble with Tribbles
BaronSat replied to BaronSat's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
It was just a joke, you were right, they are plants. And thanks for your comments on that point, I enjoy. Thanks. Well I'm pale in comparison with real trekkies that know each bolt on the NCC-1701 but I do my best and really enjoy to watch the old show...again and again. -

Thanks and pleased you like it. The plants are not plants, they are " kitsch space art" -
Hello, I'm a big fan of Star Trek the original serie... but that's not new. What is new is my last model, a diorama of the 3 rooms from K-7 station with Tribbles causing trouble to... everybody. Can publish more pics if requested. Questions, comments etc... are welcome.

Hello, I published those on Flickr and other pages and people seemed to enjoy them more than I first thought. So I wonder why not to post them here as they may be some enthusiast too... I mean even for brick build figures ;) Are always, comments, questions, criticism are welcome. Have a great summer! http://baronsat.net/Pages20/MINIDOLLS-SUMMER-GIRLS.jpg

Here's the second version of my custom x-wing for Episode 7 with corrected wings. For the same reasons I just can publish a teaser now but more to come later.
-
Thanks. I used the printed parts from custom minifigs I get on ebay, the rest of minifig, like trans blue arm is Lego.
-
Here are the other photos. As always questions and comments are welcome.
-
Thanks, that pleased me :) Maybe I should put it on Lego Ideas but TLC would have a lot of work to turn it into a set.... Hm...

Ha, ha another one, good The only change I made on the torso is that I lowered Galactus's bra... I mean the blue horizontal part with the transparent disc is now a brick lower. Check the previous version and you wil notice. But you are right, that makes the proportion better.
-
Thanks. Ok, I will post the rest of pics tomorrow as I'm on the wrong computer now... yes I have two computer... I'm a geek Those transparent blue arms arms are cool and I was happy when I realised it would be good on Invisible Woman. Thanks. Good, so one personn agrees with me. Now I wonder how many will disagree?

Hello Marvel fans, This is a remake of my previous model that I assembled and photographied especially for Brickjournal. As old stuff always needs a revamp (and due to a lack of parts but don't tell people ;) I added more colors and changed the parts that became rare for more commons or better looking ones. Finally I prefer this version to the old one http://www.eurobrick...700&hl=galactus and you? I have a few more pics I can add if people request ;)

Thanks for your remarks guys. Particularly Dave who took time to mention links. Well, the x-wing looks better in color but yes you are right I totally missed the wings trick due to lack of photos and time when I build it. So I'll need to make an update very soon.
-
Hello, Here's a teaser pic of the X-Wing I build for Brickjournal. For obvious reasons I'll publish more when the issue will be out. Hope you like it anyway

Thanks. Done, sorry for the trouble, I will note that in my archives for the next time.

Thanks guys, I'm pleased you enjoy my little model. You all understood what my goal was, creating a simple but funny model, a toy. Thanks. As you noticed, that kind of detail brings fun in a model, the idea is similar on what I found in my toys when I was a kid. Thanks. That round roof was inspired by a Playmobil model Thanks. You get the idea Thanks. It works, so I did my job well, I'm pleased Thanks. Possible. Yes, I'm fed up with lovely mermaid and wanted something that scares the pirates, even if they are though guys. Thanks. As I wrote a few lines upper, thanks to Playmobil, they have good ideas. Thanks. First time I use pirates figures in skin tones and it's cool. Thanks. It's the same flag I used on my Puerto Brico model a century ago... http://www.eurobrick...=+puerto +brico Thanks. You get the idea too. Textures are instresting but sometimes you just want to build something different, less realistic but closer to the old sets you enjoyed back in the day. Textures or not, both are cool, there's no rules. Thanks. "Guys just want to have fun" Thanks. Simple and pleasant, that's what I try to do.

[pid][/pid] 259A Hello, I don't build Pirates models often but before the end of summer I needed to make one... I'm sure you know that kind of feeling. So here's my little spanish fort on a small island, cute and calm untill the pirates land.

Thanks. Thanks. Yes I enjoy the commando, remembers me the old comics. Thanks, but it was not supposed to be funny ... ok I admit it. Good idea for the sherman, I wish I had it, now I will remember that... Thanks. Thanks, I missed that. Well it's just a sherman... Thanks. The sherman once more... must try the transforming idea... one of those days.

Thanks. Pleased that you mention the cage on the cokpit as I wans't sure about it. It looks usefull but at the same time it "damages" a bit the look of the mech. Maybe I should shot the model without it to see the difference? Thanks. Yes I have no doubt Thanks. I build this Sherman last year but it's the first time I shot it. Thanks. Yes some kind of very large vulcan gun. One more historically incorrect point but it looks good and it's weird war not WW2 so why not? Two more pics, still need to make a good one of the inner cockpit.
-
Hello, Here's my new model, I first planned to build a Mars Attacks mech but while I was building the idea of a "weird war" nazi mech came to my mind. Then at the moment of shooting the model I thought something was missing... I had my custom Sherman on a shelve so I just added a few figures and "voilà"!

Well it's saturday afternoon and it's rainign so here's another view

Thanks. Pleased you notived them. Thanks. No, but it's a good idea I will note that. Here's a new pic of the bunker and the new Higgins boat.
-
Thanks. Oh, you're a bad man, a bad, bad man.
-
Thanks. Yes, of course it rotates and elevate, means the angle of shot can vary from up to down. Otherwise it would be boring Next? A new higgins boat to go with, just need to make some good photos.
