  1. Thanks. Yes, here's one: Probably, that model uses simple parts
  2. Pleased you like it. Yes, it's a Happy, Happy, Happy, Happy World!
  3. Hello, I'm in the process of finishing a larger Tatooine model so consider this one is just an accessory. First I planned to build the Lego 75174 from their instructions, but I couldn't help changing a few things here and there and finally end up with this one! But I'm not totally unsatisifed ;D More photos later with the big model.
  4. Thanks. Haha, I knew that, I mean on my first version the canopies were unattached to the model, just placed on but I suspected that the amateurs do not like that. :D Thanks. That part mysteriously attract attention and I wonder why ;D Thanks. Yes when I realised that Donal Duck was (half) the guy for the job I felt very happy. Thanks. It's just a visor in trans red: http://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=2447#T=C Thanks. Ha, lazy boy... but I must admit it took me tears before I build that one. You are right we all want a new Cloud City playset and I have no idea why TLC don't produce one??? And Lego ideas isn't a solution as their rules say they can't accept ideas for license they already use. That's what happened to my Ghostbusters chinese restaurant. Thanks. And the old set was red... come on Lego Cloud cars are orange not red, make a 2010's model... with pilots. Thanks. Yes but minifigs are chubby and i wanted to keep the model realtively small... and anyway I always do that, I cheat with proportions ;) Thanks I was pleased with the solution too,not perfect but not too usual. I love orange too. Probably but now the model is finished I can't remember... more orange parts would have been helpful for the canopy. Thanks.
  5. Hello SW fans, Just realised I haven't published photos of my custom Cloud Car here, so here's one. Apparently I can put only 1 picture here (?) but you can see more in my Flick SW album here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/8107354@N03/albums/72157615555753824/page2/ Hope to have some interesting feedback from fine connoisseurs ;)
  6. Thanks. Just like I mentioned, the model needs updates, particularly the first floor. I'm working on it and will add photos soon. Or Ghostbusters 2016, as you want.
  7. Hi Lego fans, I haven't published this model on this forum before, because I made it for Lego Ideas and promoting is not allowed here. Now my project has been cancelled... sorry, archived by TLC, means it's just a MOC so I can show it you. The exterior is ok and with correct chinese tex with a help of a Taiwanese friend (Thanks Eric... yes he has the best name too ;) for the interior I will update it when new pics will appear on the web, probably after movie realease? In the meantime you can see more in my Flickr: https://www.flickr.c...157669755698265 Enjoy.
  8. Thanks. Yes and I just finished today : instructions in pdf +html and bsx partslist + xml parts list for bricklink to create your "my wanted list". Here's a pic of the 3D model, for the rest visit my website. Thanks. Yes you guessed well, that was intentional, not on the Kenner prototype but I like the look of the tech holes.
  9. Thanks. Yes, as you say it's a funny challenge and I also want people to save money when they buy parts for my instructions. Thanks. Yes old school style still have some good things to offer... and I'm not talking about me... old but not obsolete. Thanks. As seen on the prototype, simple but funny to operate. Thanks. The circular thingies/consoles used here are the third models, I reduced their size twice and this is the smallest I can get keeping room inside for a minifig contrary to what TLC did. But as they don't appear on the prototype they can be removed. That can be the builder choice. Now if I have a good idea for a smaller console that can hod a minfig I will of course change that. Thanks. See answer below Me too but I currently don't have all the parts to build the 3 models at the same time. I'm storing but it will take weeks before I can proceed. In the meanwhile and after modelization, I'll will display them virtually, just to see. Pleased to meet another Micro Collection enthusiast, there are other models I hope to build in bricks. Thanks. Me too. Thanks. That' the reason why most of us build their own models, the toys we wanted as kids... or teenagers... or last week... anyway we want them.
  10. Thanks. You know the stormtrooper, they are probably talking about the new speeder model Thanks. You should check my flickr to have a better view of the windows and yes I like them too Thanks. That was easy, the prototype is really a good scene. Yes, I trust you Thanks. It's always nice to see how Lego parts go well with the Star Wars look from this era. I haven't started to modelize for now so no idea of parts count but as it's heavy, with all the greebble, there will probably more than 1500. You are right, I always try to use parts that are not too rare or expensive and it's the case for 99% of them so the BL prices should be correct. I'll come back to communicate about instructions and partslist in a few weeks, I think.
  11. Hello, Here's my new model : the Emperor's Throne Room. Like my previous Death Star models http://www.eurobrick...er +death +star it is build from the very old school Kenner Micro Collection line. Sadly, this toy was never produced, so I did my best to build it from the few pictures (3 photos and 1 pre-prod drawing) that you can find on the web. I just post one photo for now but can add more if you people request. I will also post on my website and my flickr. Of course the smartass will use the link to find my folder and see the other photos There maybe much to say on this model, like the breakable catwalk and the rotating antenna so I'll let you do. More pics.
  12. Lol ;D contact me and you'll be welcome. Happy holidays.
  13. Ok, I see but I don't want to rebuild the official version, plus I really like the new nose submitted by Smitty500 .But yes, my model still needs to be improved. Well those models are for kids... yes, I hate that too Nice, can't wait to see the finished model
  14. Thanks. Blue and gray go well together and give that classic space feeling for us Lego fans. Just to be sure, we are talking of the tip of the nose, right. Well on the 75102 official model, the parts used are exaclty the same so ??? Yes, that new windscreen seems cool and I wonder what it would look like on my model? Thanks. Yes, you can, use them and upgrade them.
  15. Thanks to Bonaparte. Just one thing to finish. It seems that some people have been hurt by the use of the term "yo moma " and I am very sorry. It was a joke and a wink not a way to hurt . So I will not use that expression in the future.
  16. Yes, I know . Pleased you like the new pics.
  17. What's wrong with you? PM you? I have better things to do.
  18. I really like the wings but not the nose. That's not a revenge it's just that I don't understand the part's angles on the nose? But I enjoy your model a lot.
  19. Nooooooooooooooooooooo... Thanks. Some says it even Classic Space due to the colors. So all I had to do was to close the wings and take a side view?! And I took time rebuild the nose... Just kidding, thanks. Thanks. What? Are you trying to be funny or mean? Well you failed in both case. Thanks. I see what you mean and I did try to raise it but it cause many others problem. Finally maybe the cockpit is the real problem, as many mentioned? The tip of the nose is probably too wide. So it may be the cockpit problem...one more time. Thanks. Yes, you'll be welcome. We all feed from others, just like cannibals piranhas Thanks. Yes, interesting idea.. I see, no problem with my nose but don't tell somethign about my ears. Thanks. Thanks. My canopy definitively sucks The dish are convenients, I admit, and the idea you mention is interesting but I don't like the result a lot. That's probably due to the color. too bad the parts doesn't exist in LBG.
  20. Here are two pics of the new nose. Finally it's not bad, thanks to Smitty500 the only good guy in this "hive of (rebel)scum and villainy" So comments on the nose job are welcome This time I took a side view + closed wings.
  21. Thanks. It's the jungle in there Yeah, difficult to choose. At least we have fun Excellent idea Would that make a "gross" x-wing ? Build it like the official model? Nah, we are builders, we do thing the way we want, we are not official and don't want to be. Right? Did you really said the nose is too short? Well "yo-yo ma"... er... no it's not correct... oh, anyway Yes, I need to post more pics, from side view and with closed wings too. I didn't planned to change it alot but finally it's fun to exchange with people, so why not. Thanks for the pic. I worked on many possibilities with those parts and rejected to use them on the side. Need to finish my attempt and maybe try your way later. Then shoot the model and see how long the nose will be??? Thanks. That reminds me the old debate that toys collectors (and I was one of them) had about the vintage Kenner x-wing. Or the Han Solo coat's color in ESB, blue or brown? In my case I choosed grey because white look often dirty and due to lack of some parts too
  22. Thanks, I appreciate your spontaneity. Anyway. Now I'm currently trying the trick proposed by Smitty500 BUT it seems far too long... ???!!! Will finish and submit to the ferocious people of this arena
  23. Good idea for the nose I will study that. This model was finished to build and shot for the first time on March 29th 2015. So if the thrusters are similar to the new Lego model it means my idea wasn't so bad "Big fail" ... yo momma. Yes, I know everybody find it's too short. What about this new pic? "Yo momma" too. What about this new pic?
  24. Thanks guys for your motivation ;) Here's one I need to edit the others. So better than the first attempt?
