Yeah, I do prefer the darker colours, especially in Nocturnus. Looking forward to your next addition to Nocturnus. I'm thinking I need to pump out some smaller builds whilst trying to sort out my LEGO room and pull down MOCS. -
Guilds of Historica Character Location and Facts
Dr Rod replied to Kai NRG's topic in Guilds of Historica
Dr Rod is one of the remaining Nocturnites that joined up early. Some basic info, send your spies if you want more: Dr Rod is a human originally from the land of the tight wearers, found that too constrictive so moved to Nocturnus (also because of his penchant for somewhat unsavoury alchemical experimentations). Dr Rod's guards use the Green Dragon Knight colours, with red plumes and belts. Dr Rod is based in the Northern Rakath Mtns and has close ties with the North Rakath Trading Company, which has a guild house at Port Wrath (northern coast of Nocturnus). Dr Rod mostly hangs out in the Rakath mountains, but could turn up all sorts of places :) -
I really want to expand this harbour town out, but I have too many other builds lined up.. Work will get less hectic in a month. Dr Rod Windows are from http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=2494pb06&in=S, I really like them and bought about 20 of them (when they were a bit cheaper..) Is it Victor? who knows, could be him in disguise, maybe, maybe not? :) As for the fair Nocturnus lass, who is to say she is even a Noctunite? Perhaps I better get some builds out and answer some of these questions! Dr Rod

Almost too late :) Not too happy with this effort and my story writing sucks big time :), totally out of time with work and the Sydney Brick Show. http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=81998 Dr Rod -
Port Wrath lies on the eastern coast of Historica, to the north of the Rakath mountains. The North Rakath Mountains trading company has a guild house at Pt Wrath that serves as a staging point for vessels heading out on trading missions. One afternoon a pair of travellers arrive seeking fast passage to the land of the Drow, far to the east of Historica's borders. The travellers are travelling light and willing to pay whatever it takes. Dr Rod never lets an opportunity like that pass so agrees to send them off on his fastest vessel. The travellers make haste and board immediately. The male traveller is anxious to get going and hands over extra gold to the Captain. They are soon underway and the ship's captain offers the travellers his quarters and proposes a toast to their voyage as way of good luck. The two men raise their goblets and the male traveller starts to relax at last. He downs the whole goblet in one go and smiles for the first time since fleeing Cedrica. Suddenly he feels a piercing pain in his back and drops his goblet! His death is quick but not without pain. The ship's captain is stunned and backed into a corner. "Don't hurt me he cried!". "It was not you I was after", said the woman with a sneer. "Now change course for the Mystic Isles, I have further work there..." With that she left the room, a smug look on her face.

Yeah, had them onside for ages (or at least 18 months :) ).. For those that don't want to read back a few hundred posts: Dr Rod was exiled from the nation of tight-wearing folk as his alchemical experiments were a bit too unwholesome for their delicate sensitivities. He took with him the meanest, nastiest and foulest of the dragon knights and soldiers, chucked a red belt and plume on them and the rest is history. Dr Rod -

Sure! Not sure how many Nocturnites are left though... Last challeng is due in a week so you might have missed the boat... I intend to keep Nocutrnus alive for a long time with MOCs though and who knows where we will take things... Dr Rod -

Dr Rod is not a Drow, but he is rather chummy with them. Dr Rod is an ex Avalonian who is self exiled to Nocturnus as his alchemical ways were not very well appreciated within Avalonia (mostly because of the amount of human blood required). Dr Rod -

I would think that one would have to be a Nocturnian to challenge Lord Ssilyrrlith for the rule of Nocturnus. How many power hungry turn coats are out there I wonder... Dr Rod -
