There shall be so many lesser guild member bodies to transport back to our homeland that compacting them seemed only logical Dr Rod -

Some nice new additions to the guild, stories of infiltration and all round evilness, good to see!! Dr Rod also has spies in the lesser guild regions, a bonus of his human heritage and the addictive nature of some of his chemical creations Remember we must not totally destroy the lesser guilds, we need them for food and as the base ingredients for some of my brews Dr Rod -
Yeah, book is better. Nice MOC BTW :)

I normally keep the blood for my hell hounds but will keep your request in mind. I definitely need to keep the brain matter though for my zombie brew. Dr Rod -

Yep it's only five entries per guild...they must prove their worth to represent the guild. -

Eight years is a great run!! I'll be looking for some of this if it hits Bricklink. Congratulations on such a great display, was inspirational a few years ago when I came into the light and still so today. -

Past dealings with Drowkind have been most productive, there was much interest from the Drows of yesteryear in the potential use of the everlife potion in maintaining the longevity of Drow kept human slaves for example... Dr Rod was originally enticed to the dark realm of Rakath by the Drows as a place of sanctuary. There are those in the West who would seek to steal his potions and skills for the purpose of good, not evil ;) -

As the various "factions" (dragons, crownies etc) have had time to spread amongst the lands it is feasible that they have pledged allegiance to a guild yet still retain some sense of attachment to their original faction. Dr Rod lives in the Rakath mountains where he conducts all sorts of strange experiments, he is guarded by a force of predominantly dragon troops (there be dragons in these mountains hence why they feel at home there). There are also a number of other factions represented within his crew that perform unique tasks more suited to their preferred skills and ethics... -

Dr Rod and his lovely assistant have hidden away in the Rakath mountains furthering his studies of the ancient, dark art of alchemy. Rumored to be developing the elixir of everlife, as Chief Alchemist he is a major asset of the Nocturnus Guild. -

Thoroughly enjoying this guide, thanks heaps!! :) -
The idea of having a flag per Guild and then sub colour for faction is good. I think the guild leaders can determine their guild colours.

That island is going to be great, trees are very nice!!

The flag combo idea is great and affordable by all. I also think the idea of the renegades or freelancers is good, spice things up with some border infringement issues... So if a dark faction builds a fort in the "good" region, the good guys could then build a fort next to it and battles could be fought and won, borders may shift. This has great potential to evolve into something original and awesome over time (years?..) There would need to be some form of overall adjudication of battles though if we went down this path... I have been wanting to build an abandoned and derelict dragons outpost for a while, a good example of how buildings from one guild could be built and located in another guild's area. Dr Rod

Great ideas and stimulus throughout this thread!! I've been keen to build a decayed Kingdoms Dragons fortress overtaken by vegetation for the past 6 months, looking forward to where these guild builds are at in a year or so!! DrRod

Where Can I Find a Cheaper Death Star
Dr Rod replied to Lord Of The Fries's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I got one on sale for $600 (I think) with free shipping from Fishpond a few months ago. I was told recently that as sales in Australia keep increasing every year, why would anyone in their right mind drop prices?... Can't argue with that. The only solution is to stop buying locally, as many Aussie AFOLS have started doing. DrRod -
I helped Tazmaniac celebrate his birthday at BrickExpo and he was still there at last drinks... still don't know what was actually in the tequila shot though...

Been a while trying to lock this down, The "Sydney Brick Show" will be held in May 2012, almost definitely on the weekend of the 5/6th. We are just waiting final confirmation from the venue which should be in the next couple of weeks. DrRod
