  1. Now? It's been like that since the beginning, teen drama soap opera's are the CW's specialty. I used to watch The Flash live every Tuesday night but eventually I realized how terrible it was and dropped it halfway through Season 3.
  2. I guess I'm the only one here that's actually excited for this? I thought the 4+ set was all we were going to get for another 60s Batman set, but this just made things a lot better. Now there's a chance to get an updated Robin to go with the new '66 Batman minifigure, plus I can actually get a '66 Batmobile without having to blow $300+ on the Batcave set that threw it in as an add-on. And with the advancements that Lego has made in the Speed Champions theme in the past year or so, like introducing the new base piece that can make two seater vehicles more manageable, this Batmobile has the possibility to be an improvement over the previous version. I kept thinking since 2016 that Lego could've easily have sold the Batmobile on its own and it would sell like crazy, and it looks like I might be right soon.
  3. I wouldn't mind getting a proper minifig scale Tumbler that LOOKS accurate to the real thing unlike the one we got in 2013. The 2008 version is still one of my holy grails, but that thing is gigantic compared to how small the Tumbler actually is in real life. A minifig scale Batpod with Catwoman wouldn't hurt either. And just to complete things, a Batman Begins legacy set with Scarecrow and Ra's along with a Dark Knight set featuring Two-Face so that you'd have all the main villains from the trilogy in minifigure form. Oh yeah, and Talia somewhere as well, maybe in a set with the truck that has the nuke.
  4. I just keep telling myself that we just have to get past this movie and then it'll be smooth sailing and no one will ever want to see this side of DC again (hopefully).
  5. I'm the same as you, none of the hair pieces on any of the Nightwing's have really done it for me either. Ever since it was introduced back in 2008, I've been a huge fan of the "Minifigure, Hair Short Tousled with Side Part"/Mutt Williams hair. It's been used with the 2008 Tim Drake Robin and 2014 Damian Wayne Robin minifigures, but I think it suits Nightwing the best. When I finally managed to get my hands on the original 2006 Nightwing, the first thing I did was replace his Exo-Force anime hair with that piece instead, and I feel like it looks SO much better:
  6. And the Robin in that set as well. It still baffles me that Lego just decided to throw in 3/5 of the 2003 Teen Titans cartoon designs as minifigures and then never follow it up again with Raven and Cyborg in the same style to complete the team.
  7. Wow, I don't check this thread for a day and I missed 20+ pages. As for the Daily Bugle D2C, YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. I always thought a set like this would be a pipe dream or something that would only exist in MOC form and the closest thing we'd ever get was the Bugle set from 2013. Even better, it's going to be comic based! I'll take comic Marvel sets over the MCU ones anyday (especially if it's for Spider-Man, but that's another story), I can't WAIT to see the final product.
  8. The pain hurts a little less when you're also a Marvel fan as well (mainly just for the comic Spider-Man stuff), but I'm just counting down the days till The Batman sets/the $230 D2C is revealed.
  9. I was beginning to think that I'd never see the Mark 3 be made as a minifigure, let alone actually getting an MCU set from the 2008-2011 years when Mega Bloks still had the Marvel license. The Iron Monger set is easily my most anticipated one from this wave, I used to remember making purist or custom minifigures from Iron Man 1 with Sharpie to get even close to the idea of owning minifigures from the movie. And like someone mentioned earlier, I hope Lego continues the same idea that they're doing for Harry Potter's 20th anniversary with the Raimi Spider-Man movies as well. Getting updated flesh tone minifigures from the 2002-2004 sets would be a dream come true, and maybe even the possibility of finally getting the black suit to complete the Raimi suit collection.
  10. At this point it's starting to get frustrating that Lego would make a symbiote Spider-Ham before giving us a single black suit Spider-Man minifigure...or at least a plain all black head with white eyes so that you could put it on a Venom torso.
  11. For now anyways. I wonder if it'll show up in any future sets, the torso in particular. I know the dual molded legs will definitely stay exclusive though, Lego can't even remain consistent about giving Spider-Man dual molded legs in every set he appears in.
  12. I wouldn't mind another big fig Bane but based on his classic appearance this time, suspenders and all, instead of being a mix of wearing his comic mask with his TDKR coat.
  13. Damn, I got my hopes up for a second there.
  14. I take it this is for The Batman, probably the Batmobile set? Or did I miss something?
  15. It's times like these where I'm glad I'm not a diehard Snyder fan like I used to be 4-5 years ago. I fell off that train when he said that the dead Robin was Dick Grayson instead of Jason Todd and wanted to skip past all the other Robins to get to Carrie Kelly, wasting any potential for Nightwing or a Batfamily. I'm just here for what Matt Reeves has planned for his entire Batman world, far away from the DCEU. As for the '66 Batman figure, he looks great. Though I too wish that he kept the dual molded legs that the 2016 version had instead of the cheap method where it's only printed on the front of the legs. Looks like I'll have to check out Bricklink for that.
  16. Which is why I said "if". Though Lego would probably make it 18+ and in UCS style but based on the comic instead of the movie, with a Dark Knight Returns Batman and Carrie Kelly Robin to go with the Dark Knight Returns Joker that came in the CMF's last year.
  17. It is amazing that you said this a few days ago, because look at what Snyder revealed will be in his movie today. If Lego ever decided to make one set for the Snyder Cut, it'd 100% be this.
  18. ...I don't know why I was expecting the cowl to still have his mouth area as part of the build, but I guess that would make it look like you have Batman's head as a trophy.
  19. Looking closer at that Batman '66 torso image, I noticed that there's a cowl right next to it and it appears to be the same one as the one from the D2C Batcave with the short ears.
  20. I'll take anything over David Ayer deciding to give him a cursive tattoo on his forehead that states how crazy he is.
  21. At least the Damaged tattoo is gone?
  22. And technically the 20th anniversary of the first time Lego made a licensed superhero minifigure with the Raimi Spider-Man sets for Lego Studios. As for DC, I don't know if they'd also do it next year since the Marvel and DC Super Heroes themes both launched in the same year, or wait till 2026 when it'll be 20 years since the original Lego Batman theme.
  23. EDIT: Whoops, I should go ask this question in the Lego Store BAM topic instead.
  24. The Batman Accessory Pack is FINALLY available in North America, for both Canada and the U.S. I already put down my order for 4 of them, thankfully that weird 3 week delay from its original release date is over now.
  25. I hate being that "akshully" guy but the images on those bottles are just placeholders. The Bat symbol on the bottle is the Hush logo and the "Riddler" is just a reuse of some Hugo Strange artwork instead of how Riddler actually looks with his mask in the movie.
