  1. The helmet could've used some hair, but I can't complain with a helmet design that perfect. All you need is a brick wall between him and Barry's Flash and you can recreate the iconic "Flash of Two Worlds" cover from Flash #123. I know I'm definitely getting two of him so that I can have one version when he's in his prime and the other as his more well known older appearance.
  2. Well....he IS an imp/elf, he's supposed to be short. That's how he's looked in every one of his major appearances (Brave and The Bold is my favorite version of him solely because he was voiced by Pee-Wee Herman himself): 99% sure they'll go with the short legs for him, but I hope they might use the mid legs so that he gets a little more articulation.
  3. Wow, besides Jay Garrick we were all completely off. He's probably the figure that I'm anticipating the most after years of seeing custom versions of him trying to get around how to make his helmet. I really thought Lego would make an Action Comics #1 Superman to complete the First Appearance Trinity that they set up with the Batman and Wonder Woman figures. On the one hand, he's going to look really off standing next to them. But on the other hand, the Rebirth Batman that came out in the Summer sets and the Wonder Woman from the Lex Mech Takedown set from last year will now have the correct Superman to match with their own Rebirth suits. Side-note, the Superman suit that seems to be the one that's coming in the series based on the comic reference picture that the leakers have posted is the Superman REBORN suit. The Superman REBIRTH suit is this one: Those last two choices though...wow. Never would I have thought we'd get any minifigures based off The Dark Knight Returns, but then again we DID get the Mutant Leader from the same story in The Lego Batman Movie sets. Now we need a TDKR Batman to really make it complete, the closest thing we have to that design is the blue Batman from the two sets that came out in 2007 for the original Batman line: Bat-Mite as the final choice....who was the source that said that we'd get a "Batman foe currently not on store shelves", because that was WAY off. That hint had me hoping for Mad Hatter or The Ventriloquist and Scarface, not him. Bat-Mite isn't a Batman villain, more or less he was an overzealous pain in Batman's side in the Silver Age that tried to help him but more often than not made things worse.
  4. Has to be Lex, he fits the "hero's nemesis" hint that we got. Joker can't be the last one since the other hint was a Batman villain that's "not currently on store shelves", and he comes in the brand new Batmobile and 4+ Arkham sets that just came out.
  5. Every other series except for Unikitty and The Lego Ninjago Movie, which I guess is the black sheep of the Lego movies at this point.
  6. The full Hawkeye minifigure leaked (though with a really good quality picture) and he looks just like his Avengers Assemble cartoon version. Nothing really special IMO. The biggest surprise is the second figure that leaked, and it's for the Spider-Man sets. Wherever he goes, the wind follows. And the wind, smells like rain...
  7. ...None of those guys are Batman villains though, besides maybe Grundy (though anything less than a bigfig for him would be a waste). The original post said "A Batman foe for who is not currently on store shelves".
  8. Yeah, but I think he's the only major Batman villain left that first showed up during the Golden Age that Lego has yet to make into a minifigure.
  9. - Jay Garrick, take my money already - First Appearance Superman to complete the Trinity - Mad Hatter since his first appearance was in Batman #49 from 1948 - Golden Age Joker?
  10. I might've jinxed it a few pages when I said I hope that First Appearance Batman isn't another Percival Graves/1978 Police Officer, me and my big mouth. Regardless, even with the price increase (though on the bright side, it only went up by $1) I'm still planning on getting a full box.
  11. But the difference being that all the variants/characters we've seen so far have been canon to DC's history or are still seen to this day in the comics and aren't just Super Friends/1978 Superman The Movie characters, or joke outfits like the beachwear designs that took up 1/4 of the slots in the Series. Side-note, those blue Batarangs that First Appearance Batman comes with will fit perfectly for Nightwing's Wing-Dings (his own personal Batarangs).
  12. Wonder Woman looks pretty good, but they really should've made a new tiara/hair combo instead of just reusing the one that's been used since 2012. Golden Age Wonder Woman had her hair pushed more back instead of the Silver Age/Modern Wonder Woman style that we see today:
  13. Yup, these early issues were really inconsistent with the details. In issue #27, Batman has purple gloves but in issue #29, he has blue ones and a rectangular buckle again. It's clear that Lego was going for his First Appearance look, but I think that whoever searched up what his first Batsuit was like for the torso print just found one of the images from his early Detective Comics issues and went with it, even though the suit kept on changing from issue to issue for a bit until the artists finally settled on the standard Batsuit details that we know today.
  14. I've already said it before a few pages back, but I'm pretty sure he has that chain to mimic this cover: I've also done a little digging and while the belt on the First Appearance Batman IS inaccurate for a Detective Comics #27 Batman (though on the cover of the issue, he has a rectangular buckle ), it works perfectly for a Detective Comics #28 Batman
  15. Yeah, thought it wouldn't be the first time Lego got something inaccurate. The Spider-Man minifigure that they made for the 76067 Tanker Truck Takedown set was based on concept art from Civil War that ended up being completely changed to the suit design that was later used in the Homecoming and Far From Home sets.
  16. Huh, I'm not a Star Wars guy but that cape looks amazing. I wish Lego could've done that on Batman and Robin now, they've been needing two-toned capes for a while now.
  17. I already know that that First Appearance Batman is going to be one of the most sought after figures of the wave (I just pray he won't be like Percival Graves in the Harry Potter CMF series where there was only 1 of him in an entire box). The blue batarangs are also a nice reference to blue inner layer of his cape since Lego doesn't really do two color capes. Though the one thing that bothers me now that I've seen it is that his utility belt buckle is completely wrong, it should be a circle instead of a typical rectangle shape.
  18. I think this cover might solve that question:
  19. I was hoping for a superbly detailed Hush Batman, but Detective Comics #27 Batman is just as amazing. As least he's not a convention exclusive. And after years of her only being in the games, Huntress finally gets a physical figure, just in time for the Birds of Prey movie.
  20. My bad, I forgot there was only 16 in this series.
  21. Now we know 5/16 of the lineup. And the amount of insane detail that he has easily puts him above the 3 other Cyborgs we've gotten in the past 4 years. Just give me Kid Flash, Wonder Girl, classic Beast Boy, classic Starfire, Raven, and complete it with the 1966 Robin minifigure and you can have the lineup from the New Teen Titans #1 from the 80s.
  22. Ok, the Jokerland Batmobile and the original 2006 Batmobile just got knocked out of the top spot for most accurate rendition of the 1989 Batmobile. THAT is absolutely amazing, it's perfectly designed and it even looks like it could fit a minifigure in it. Though now it really makes me question what the D2C Batvehicle will be since we all thought this Batmobile would be it, and Lego wouldn't make 2 of the same Batmobiles that are out at the same time, would they? And they missed another opportunity to release a Keaton Batman minifigure alongside this, which would've been perfect, which makes me wonder if him and a Nicholson Joker could still show up as minifigures in the D2C.
  23. I wonder if they'll reserve a spot for Nightwing since it's been 3 (technically 5 if you only count set appearances and not polybags) years since his last appearance as a minifigure. My guess is that they'd give him his Rebirth suit, but what if they really use the "variant" idea that this series seems to be doing and make one of these suits in minifigure form:
  24. Wait, 5? So far we have Simon Baz, Sinestro, Stargirl, and Metamorpho. Where was the 5th one revealed?
  25. Here's hoping that Lego is just waiting to see how well this series sells so that if they do a Series 2, it'll be bumped to 20.
