I am not to sure what is so funny. Maybe you could could enlightened us. @Quota Welcome to the site. But you should do some proofreading before you post. The moderating staff likes to think everyone is of age for this site. (Plus, it does not seem to me that you are not a native English speaker.)

Hello, welcome to the site.

Hi Bob! I take it you are a Bob Newhart fan. (And to me it seems like you are all over the place lately.) Oh, welcome to the site.

So, that what it is. At first I thought it was a lightsabers handle. As for the falcon lid, if you wanted to make something like this in real life, I would use a different "falcon toy".

Is LEGO entering a Dark Age - or am I?
samurai-turtle replied to Hive's topic in General LEGO Discussion
First off it you want to quote multiple persons use the "+ button" next to the "quote button". I only said what I did because I got tired of seeing it in the "Historical Theme" section. To me it seems like everyone was crying to bring back LotR &The Hobbit sets. And sadly I really haven't went back there to that section because of it. -
I get the feeling that Disney was behind most of that "move". I was watching a PBS documentary (American Experience: Walt Disney). And it showed "Uncle Walt" could be an @$$, especially if you crossed him. So even in the early days the Disney Co. could be considered a type of dictatorship. And I don't think to much has changed from the early days to the present day.

Yes it does. It is in the groove on one side. As for other pieces without the LEGO mark. I found the T tube connector and the helmet visors and/or goggles without the mark. I double checked the katana and the newer version have the LEGO mark on the blade.

Well this seems to be all over the news. (A disclaimer I usually just watch CBS for the news.) But CBS evening news has a report on LEGO. Here is a link... https://www.cbsnews.com/news/lego-revenue-profits-digital-headwinds/ But personally the video / TV report that I seen over the airwaves might be more informative.

Is LEGO entering a Dark Age - or am I?
samurai-turtle replied to Hive's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I see it more as LEGO cashing in on the bobblehead or vinyl figures. I seen some stores put the Brickheadz next to the vinyl figures. Please don't start this stuff here. People need to face it, it just didn't sell that well. All my Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit sets, that I have got where on clearance. To me it seems to be only popular with AFOL. -
What's your favorite Star Wars character?
samurai-turtle replied to brickmasterben11's topic in Community
I don't understand the hate Ewoks get. Are they the greatest? No, mediocre at best. I guess, I see them as cogs in the machine or just furry soldiers. Speaking of soldiers I kinda like the Super Battle Droids. And could they be up-graded? Of course I kinda had a thought, if they got program to shoot the handles of lightsabers wouldn't that break the sabers. And make stopping the Jedi easier. -
@Digger of Bricks it looks angular to me or octagonal as seems to top a part like this.

Isn't it around this time the anniversary thread is made? Is it not going to happen because it seems no one is around?

What was the last movie you watched?
samurai-turtle replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Well yesterday I watched two LEGO movies. First one was DC super hero girls brain drain. I thought it got a little to wacky or meta but then again I might not been the main audience. (I think, I like the regular movies more.) Then I watched Scooby-Doo beach blast bingo (or whatever it was called). That one I was trying to figure out who was the bad guys near the beginning. Plus the DVD does have three bonus Scooby-Doo episodes. -
Actually we (USA) has both. This should clear things up. I have no idea since I never went to college. But I would think keeping it small might be better for spacing reasons.

What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?
samurai-turtle replied to KimT's topic in LEGO Star Wars
That is not Star Wars! Maybe this is the thread he should be posting in... Edit - I am not sure why that picture showed up in the link part, so sorry for that. -
[MOC] BrickHeadz - Sonic the Hedgehog (And friends)
samurai-turtle replied to Sérgio's topic in Special LEGO Themes
For some reason Sonic looks a little board on top of the airplane. -
Need advice for Tails's Tornado Biplane
samurai-turtle replied to Henchmen4Hire's topic in LEGO Licensed
You might find this useful. It might not be the right scale, but it might be a starting point. -
I am a little surprised a sequel was made the first place. From what I heard the first was not that great. It (the second one) seems more like a candidate for direct to video.
-
I would say use DUPLO. OK, on a more serious note the DUPLO could be used for a internal structure. Which would help keep it lighter. And help get to the size you would want, while keeping the brick count down.

The Star Wars Holiday Special Review
samurai-turtle replied to VaderFan2187's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I decided to take the torture test and made it to the end. (I will admit that I zoned out when the music bits came on. I was reading the comments below the YouTube video. But I can't seem to watch the "music videos" on good shows {for example SNL} so I still count as watching the whole thing.) Two thoughts that come to mind is: That Lumpy can make you hate tauntauns. But then again maybe Chewbacca was the one that tamed the tauntauns. And then their is the Bea Arthur singing, it is like the only way she could kick everyone out of the bar. -
REVIEW: 75165 Imperial Trooper Battle Pack
samurai-turtle replied to WhiteFang's topic in LEGO Star Wars
That is my thought on it too. When I first saw a picture of the set. My thought was "What is with LEGO and Battle Pack walkers?" -
You do realize they did make a Deadpool mini-figure. He came in a helicopter set with Wolverine and Magneto.

What is your favourite Lego Star Wars set ever?
samurai-turtle replied to Lego_Trooper's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Well that is what a ton of grey will get you... As for sets I tend to lean towards the V-Wing(s). I have two different sets of the craft. -
LEGO Ninjago 2017 Discussion
samurai-turtle replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Well it looks like someone at Target put out some of the collectable mini figures. And I was able to get the four I wanted (Garmadons & Lloyds). -
LEGO Nexo Knights 2017 Discussion
samurai-turtle replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
It looks like Toy'R'Us has put out the summer wave of Nexo Knights. (Along with the Friends summer wave.)
