She is not the only one... To keep this on topic, I have not seen the newer stuff yet too. I am kind waiting for some of the older stuff to go on clearance, but I have only been looking at the local Walmart.

I wonder where I get these ideas... Well if you are to busy being a dad, that brings up the question who might be in charge. Well some of this sudden enthusiasm might of come from my brother of all places, because he asked me if I ever played D&D. Now this is someone I wouldn't think might be interested in D&D. Apparently he was watching some online D&D games and he thought it might be fun. I gave him some advice to where he could start. And I did mention this site (Heroica). I also mentioned the current in between the "game" is currently in, not that I am thinking the 2.0 is going to start tomorrow or even next week, but it does seem like "people" do want a 2.0 at some point.

Maybe the site doesn't like you? IC: Leave me out of your pictures! I don't want "people" knowing what I look like! OoC: I guess my question is why, would want a picture of Germ and Lind (plus the others).

What was the last movie you watched?
samurai-turtle replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Teen Titans Go! To the Movies, a decent enough movie with plenty of "Easter Eggs" for any comic book fan. Even with a surprise legendary cameo (or two) for any comic book fan. I will say this about the end credit Easter Egg and the DVD, if the DVD preview didn't spoiled the end credit Easter Egg it would of been a nice surprise for the original Teen Titans... P.S. Right now I am rewatching The Peanuts Movie. -
Part of me not sure what is going on right now with this game. But some ideas I got from other games... If any you played Fate: the Traitor Soul (I heard it is similar to Diablo) it has a simple skill tree. So if you want to be better with a hammer, you train for that skill and you would get a +1. And if you want more plus numbers you would train to get that +1 to a +2 hammer. I am assuming all weapons start with a +0. As for ranges, Wizardry V (it was on the SNES) had a short, medium and long range weapons. So what I was thinking the closer you are to an enemy the more damage you do. So long range gets a +0. Medium range gets a +1 (I was thinking Spears and Halberds go here). For close range gets a +2. Plus, their would be no defense bonus for being in the long range.

Have you tried fishing line or even dental floss? I heard dental floss is fairly strong.

I think add a couple of zeros (on the years) would make more sense. How about a "far-gate"? (And no I did not steal this from Aqua Teen Hunger Force. ) A class/job idea how about a "Medic" it would be similar to a "cleric" in the old game. It wouldn't have to rely on "magic" to fix up people. I was thinking maybe using "Potions" would be twice as effective compared to everyone else, or some sort of splash healing effect.

How do you take care of the stickers?
samurai-turtle replied to ks6349's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Am I missing something here? Or is it some sort of saying? I am surprised some hasn't said throw them in the trash, where they belong. As for my sticker placement, it comes down to what my thinking is on reusing the part. For example titles will almost always get stickered, I am thinking I could always get another title piece. -
The Best and Worst of 2018
samurai-turtle replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Best Theme: Elves it needs some love since it is basically over. Best Minifigure(s): Dragon Suit Guy, Cactus Girl and Flower Pot Girl Best Set: I am going with one I own "Naida & The Water Turtle Ambush". Worst Theme: It is probably Brickheadz for myself. Worst Minifigure: For me it would be R3-T2 from the "Tatooine Battle Pack". It is just a red Astro Droid. It could of been another Jawa or Tusken Raider. Worst Set: This is hard to say but I am going one I own Twinfector (72002). I think the big wheels make it look like a mess. Most Anticipated: I think it would be TLM2 "Classic Space Battle Pack".- 57 replies

I found 30547 Dragon Hunter poly-bag and 75197 First Order Specialists Battle Pack for $9+tax.

Something I just found, has anyone tried "Role Gate"? It looks like a D&D chat like game site. It does seems like a good alternative for D&D gameing but I would like to hear some opinions on the site.

1. What should be the overall theme/genre? I kinda think something like Dr. Who (sans time travel). Something like Star Wars and Star Trek just seems to advance. I think things like lasers, phasers, blasters and machine guns could be found but really hard to find. Plus, magic should be able to use by certain individuals. 2. How closely should the theme/genre be followed? I think @Endgame has the right idea on this question. 3. What aspects of the game should be covered by mechanics? i.e. skills, combat, social interactions, character creation, etc. I am not sure what "skills" you are asking about. For "combat" I think some examples are in order for a better answer. For "social interactions" I think you are asking about "diplomacy and intimidation" I feel they shouldn't be job pacific. If you want to learn those skills you need to take a "class" to learn those skills (I imagine even paying to take the "class".) For "character creation" I guess a point(s) bonus could used for species and job class. 4. How in depth should the mechanics of the game go? It is probably a fine line to making it feel customizable and then just to complex. 5. Will the design of the general theme/genre and mechanics be group work-shopped or left to selected individuals. I.e. how democratic should the development process be? 6. Should the running of the game be democratic or managed by select individuals? Isn't 5 & 6 kinda of the same question. I imagine some sort for voting system should be put in place. If some sort of issue pops up.

Well I hope everything gets iron out. I for one would like to read it.

OK, @Waterbrick Down something I was wondering about the "were hound" thing. Was it just a way to level up "the book" bound to Torald Waruelf @Alfadas. To me it seems like their could be more the "were hound" story.

Latest updates on LEGO set sales
samurai-turtle replied to gylman's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Well it is Black Friday time again. I was looking at some ads online and this is what I found... At Target (between 11-18/11-21) select $50 set get a $10 Target gift card...And then (between 11-22/11-24) get Y-Wing, Garma Mecha Man & Lightning Jet for $41.99 each, these are "door buster" deals. At Walmart (between 11-22/11-23) Classic set 10704 {900 pc.} & A Duplo set {120 pc.} For $20 each. At Meijer the Classic, City, Friends & Ninjago sets get 20% off (between 11-18/11-24). Plus on 11-24 you can use "Santa Bucks" coupon(s) for items over $15 to get at least $3 off. (Their is different coupons for different prices points, to save even more.) Edit - I was at Rule King looking for some pants that will fit me. And I found they had some LEGO set for sale. It might be worth a look if you are near one. -
Well I broke down and bought Elves set 41195 Emily & Noctura's Showdown. Walmart had it for $40 and the set having 650 pieces, I figured it would be an alright purchase.

I was just curious, did everyone write their own epilogue(s)? And for some reason I thought their would be more epilogue(s) in general.

The mimic looks a little confused, but it heard a familiar name and this big creature looks familiar... As the mimic spits out Rosier's Thorn at Vindsval it laps up the Gold offered.

It could be Ryan Reynolds giving off an vibe. On a slightly different note, I thought it was T. J. Miller doing the voice for Pikachu at first until I saw Ryan Reynolds name. (Witch might be good because I think T. J. Miller is annoying. But I will say this the Transformer movie he was in was good because they kill him off. )

I been keeping an eye on things... I am in a similar boat. Germ is not at the "Hall" (that is where the last bit happening?) And he is not planning to ever come back... Yeah, this political crap bores me in general and I don't like it. Plus, I think we need to fine some new "Dungeon Masters" to help keep the game going in the future. I was wondering if putting the game on another site might be a good idea, or is their just not enough people interested for that idea in general.
-
Couldn't they just re-release the original movie in theaters? That seems like the cheaper / easier option and movies do get re-release occasionally. Part of me wonders if this is not some sort of rumor...
-
Their seems like time if you want to wrap it up (Eric's Story). Why does their even need to be a "us verses them" crap? When other games do similar crap, I wonder why!? It seemed to be forced and dumb. But, if it just happened subtilty I might be fine with it. Personally, I am tired of seeing the "us verses them" crap in the government. And I hope everyone else is tired of same crap too.

I hope you have some answers now. Their is a little more left but @Waterbrick Down is going to put the last bit up, with everyone else's "stories". I guess I should put something down... I really don't have much say about the quest story. (It seems like any thoughts I might have someone else already or could say.) As for the other "players" they seem to play it better than I do, in my head. Heck, I feel like a "new player" most of the time, even though I have been playing this game for a couple of years now. Plus, to me their does seem like their is some snobbery at times. And I can see that putting off some new potential players (just my two cents). And with this quest being so long and half of players just going silent without any warning, didn't help the quest in general... I hope my random thoughts were not to confusing. As for Germ himself...at times I wonder if it was a good idea to even use him in general. (As I mentioned other places.) I depowered him down to avoid being a "cheater". In my head he could get in a fight with Superman and maybe win. (But that might just be me and my odd way of thinking, like some sort of geek.) Witch was his motivation "get back to power". And yes, he was an E.T. but to him it was no big deal, seeing he has been to multiple planets and this just another planet to him. Another part of his personality was formed from this, seeing as being in Heroica was "not his first rodeo" it might of made him a little jaded to boot. Plus, part of my story style was trying to put out bits and pieces of his story. I guess part of my reason for doing this is my indecisiveness for any commitment to make it set in stone. Another part of his personality was he really didn't like most of the other "Heros" (if you couldn't tell ). And part of the reason was because he was not "human" like them. Also he thought how they where doing things was wrong most of the time. Plus, the "Heros" seem to have their clicks and Germ didn't seem to be in any of them. (I think this might of been where some of the snobbery came in that I mentioned earlier.) Part of me wonders at times why I stayed around so long? Their was a time I was not getting picked for quest and I felt that I should just leave. A little story here, at first I would wonder why anyone would leave this game but after this "forced inactive" I started to get why people would disappear. On a kinda of different note, I also thought of "second" characters to use, so I can soft reset. But, now since the game seem to be over, and if it does go on, I figured it would be appropriate time to change characters. Again, I hope my random thoughts where not to confusing.
