Stickers isn't a big deal! Or is it?
samurai-turtle replied to Driver Brandon Grumman's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Did the joke have anything to do with... Parts that can be made Out of Other Parts ( or P O O P ) -
They (the mods) don't like if you just beg for votes. They prefer you present it as a MOC. You can put a link to the ideas page but the main goal is not making it about just getting votes.

Well Target was having a LEGO sale on some sets. I found 40358 Bean There, Donut That for $10.49+tax & 75927 Stygimoloch Breakout for $16.79+tax. Then at a Walmart I seen a 70660 Spinjitzu Jay for $2.50+tax so I got a second Jay. (I think he was hanging around their for some time because I thought saw him their a few weeks earlier. Next to a bunch of Kai's, he seem to be at full price.)

Just so I get everything (before I make Tester-Three ), I would start with three proficiencies, then to get a fourth one I would need to "buy" it. And then to get a fifth one I would first need to "upgrade" smarts to "level two". And just out of curiosity if I would want to get a sixth proficiencies, would I need to "upgrade" smarts again?

If I could use this guy, I would appreciate it but I am flexible to using one of the premade guys. Tester-Two (samurai-turtle) One Cycle, Genderless, War Bot {robotic} Vitality: 6/6 Strength: 2 Skill: 1 Smarts: 1 Spirit: 1 Proficiencies: Technology 1, Long Range Weapons 1, Piloting 1, Credits: 10 Equipment: Standard Arm Cannon (+1, Long Range Energy Weapon), Standard Metallic Exoskeleton (+1 Kinetic Armor) Inventory: Shield Booster I am still confused by this point system you are using @Waterbrick Down. If I am calculating things right the above character used nine points and I have one left over for something. I do have an idea for the battle grid, maybe label it like Battleship example A2 attacks C3. This is more of a story idea I had for some time. Since it seems the game is heading into space the name/theme for Blacktron goes by the name Battle Electronics. What I have in mind for "Battle Electronics" is a Weapons Dealer selling stuff to anyone and everybody, or Sell to both sides of a conflict. I guess what Destro (from G.I. Joe) the owner of Mars Industry would be doing, like from the first live action movie. Plus, the enemies of "Battle Electronics" might give them the nickname "Blacktron" in an attempt to insult them.

LEGO Hidden Side 2020
samurai-turtle replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
That is not what happened to Cole. If you ever watched the show Danny Phantom it's similar to that, because he got fused with ghost DNA. And Phantom was still a live (a good show if anyone hasn't watched it yet). Yes, that sounds right from what I remember. -
Another nice M-Tron moc up, if I had to do a criticism on this moc and your others moc(s) (and this is not really a big deal) it would be it needs some more M-Tron "markers". I get it if you don't want to spend the money on that.

LEGO Hidden Side 2020

That sounds like what they did to Cole from Ninjago for a season or two. -
I guess he made it legal... Do you have something in mind with these characters like a test quest? I don't know if it will make any difference, but I did mention a possible reboot to my brother. (As of right now I haven't heard anything about any interest to join in the possible game. But he was asking me about this new "Wooden Lego Minifigure" so he might be more interested in checking that out right now.)

I grabbed a 70821 Emmet & Benny's 'Build & Fix' Workshop! I would of like to find it at a better price (got from Walmart) but I got an odd feeling it's going to gone by Christmas time.

You mean like the flying spaghetti monster? I also heard Elsa form Frozen has been used for a deity. Plus their has been some other "crazy" characters used for deities for D&D games. I think something like this could work, but not to sure about "modernize" the old gods. It doesn't seem necessary, was Thor "modernize" in the marvel movies? It kinda sounds like this could be like the flying spaghetti monster as he is basically spouse to be invisible in reality. And it is supposed to be upon you (or whoever) to prove that he does not exist. Some points on these traits. On Hardy it says "Star system" shouldn't it be "ecosystem"? If you think about Earth their is some harsh places and some nice places. On Logical it states "does not experience emotions" I was thinking it should say " does not normally experience emotions". But it might just me watching to many sci-fi TV shows / movies. For Polymeliac I had an idea for a humanoid character that "rides" around in a Exosuit. Would they qualify for this ability? For Telepathic, if a robotic creature used a "radio" is used to communicate with each other. But "regularly" with everyone else would it still be Telepathic? This is more in general should the term "race" be used? I think something more broad be used like species or creatures. Io I might be able to help? I would just need to know what the items are spouse to do.

I guess I could try an make a character... Tester 1 (samurai-turtle) 6 lunar cycles, genderless War-Droid Vitality: 5 {Is this your HP or health points?} Strength: 1 Skill: 1 Smarts: 1 {If I wanted to get more proficiencies how much would I need to increase this by?} Spirit: 1 Proficiencies: Artillery 1, Piloting 1, Technology 1 Credits: 10 Equipment: Arm-Cannon (+1, Energy Weapon), Metallic Exoskeleton (+1, Kinetic Armor) Inventory: Nanites Repair Drones ×1 {I am just making some of this stuff up and not 100% sure what it does exactly.} So if I am reading everything right, I currently have used 7 points and have 3 points available to use on some skill(s). Plus, would Kinetic be like a bullet? And using a Energy Weapon would be similar to a Star Trek Phaser? Is "Long Weapons" different from "Artillery"?

Well to me it seems like havIng X amount of slots for potions is the way to go. I guess you would need a "belt" to carry even more potions. So an average player can carry six potions and if they want to carry six more potions they would have to equip a "belt". DC? I guess, I am not familiar enough with the lingo to get the spell casting stuff.

I was thinking about the "healer" issue and maybe have possible solution. I am going use the old system for convenience (and I am a little confused about any new system right now). If you rolled... A "Shield" basically everyone in the party gets fully healed. A "2" just the target gets fully healed. A "3" the target has 2/3 chance getting fully healed, otherwise only 2/3 of max health is restored. A "4" the target has 1/2 chance getting fully healed, otherwise only 1/2 of max health is restored. A "5" the target has 1/3 chance getting fully healed, otherwise only 1/3 of max health is restored. A "6", well the healer failed (probably getting hit from the enemy).

I feel like we should do some sort of check in, to see who is still around.

I was at a Kroger Marketplace and found a 70651 Throne Room Showdown for $10. I figured that is a good price for a set with 221 pieces (and five mini-figures). Some of those mini-figures are rare characters like Harumi, Samurai X and Skylor (I believe only the second time she showed up on a set) also Lloyd and Nya come in the set.

What was the last movie you watched?
samurai-turtle replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Rewatching a movie I haven't seen in a long time. Since I got the thing on DVD a couple of days ago, Robin Hood: Men in Tights (a Mel Brooks film). Like all of Brooks films it is packed with jokes (some of them might be outdated for today). But you will probably laugh a few times during the film. -
Fine, I will do it, since I have this set. It is designed to able rearrange or expand, because Technic system was built in like some of the older castle sets. Plus the dragon that comes with the set is not to bad (but that is just my opinion). For the price it doesn't sound to bad, but I got the set for $50 from Walmart back in the day, so I might not be the best authority on that point. Now back to main point of this thread, I got another collectable mini-figure (series 19) the bike lady, the other day.
