  1. I will be sure to mention if it ever happens
  2. 2 rabbits in one of the new monkey kid set..
  3. A calf if we ever get a new farm subtheme The lion cubs will probably come in different colors as other species if we get a set where they can fit in.. I am still waiting for a flock of pigeons for my modular street
  4. The design lead is Jamie since he is the leader of the theme that makes them I assume you are referring to the designer of the set Jamie unfortunately do not seem to have any time to do any designing of sets the last years, maybe he will do the 20 year anniversary set, but do not think 15 years is enough to draw him back Astrid has moved on to other tasks long ago, so no way Mike Psiaki has already done one several year ago and do seem very busy with other big sets so no Florian Müller done one and moved on is my guess Nick Vás has not done any other than a couple of small details on a couple 5+ years ago, he could have done one then, but not now I guess Chris McVeigh did the last one so it is a small chance he will do it, but my guess is someone new probably someone that has not worked for Lego for very long. The last 4 designers have done 1 each and moved on, so I assume they will keep this trend up. It is probably a great honour among designers to do one and a new person can bring something new to the model, so it makes sense to swap designers every year (unless Jamie wants to do one again)
  5. That is fair I assume that is how a normal horse girl/farmer girl looks today, so the test groups like and recognize that. To me personally it would be much better if we got a medieval stable-girl etc or a native American girl with the foal, however I understand that may be to specific and maybe not so popular among the "horse girls" in the test groups Well said You have a point or two, but the reason vidiyo failed was definitely not because of the minifigs
  6. I think time will prove you wrong The JP set did not have the time and the 2 others are Ideas sets with 0 budget. A City farm set have the budget to do it, but personally I think it will come with a Castle set (anniversary set next year maybe). Take the MF it was not a big seller back in the day, but as time went the price increased and the demand skyrocketed so they made a new one even bigger that sold like crazy. Look at the goat prices on BL they are insane, so any set that brings the goat back will sell a lot of copies just because it is goats in the set
  7. That might be, but to me personally it is all about the new animals I can get from the CMF. I want the best/most useful fig to come with the animal, but would buy it no matter how bad it was. If we do not take the animals into consideration the only figs I really want from the CMF are Castle, Pirates and Native American figs and those are rare maybe one or two per series in total (I still end up buying City, costumes etc also). However if they did not use the accessories to make some of the figs unique the CMF would be a rather boring to me..
  8. Yes, but they make new moulds all the time, so to remake a mould should be even cheaper and simpler. However we need a theme/set with a high enough budget to be able to bring back the goat and have a need for it. -In the Jurassic park set they wanted to include it and may have the budget to do it, but from what I understand they had not the time to make a new mould when they found out it was broken. -The Ideas blacksmith had so low budget that they had to choose between a horse and a hen, the designers even asked one of the bosses for a bigger budget so they could bring back the goat, but was turned down That is just your speculation, you have no sales numbers to back that claim.. No it did not have any chickens/ hens since they did not exist at the time! 2 cows, 5 pigs, 1 horse, 2 dogs, 1 cat and 1 rat I believe So not very animal heavy at all except the 2 sets with pigs I agree with most of this, but I believe the goat mould was not just made for that set in mind, however several years went before they had any use for it again and then it was to late I assume the test groups show that minidoll-theme buyers want those kind of animals just like they want minidolls instead of minifigs I agree with the Playmobil sets they are always full of animals if it is a farm set or similar and they often put some in other sets as well. They even manage to make and sell pirates and castle sets every year, two of the first Lego themes from 30-40 years ago that Lego more or less have stopped making
  9. I do not think that say much since if I do not remember wrong they had heavy discounts back in the day whenever a subthemes time was up, to get them quickly of the shelf's. It even had 1,5 waves, why release more sets if the first ones sold poorly I had dinner on the inside tour with a City designer in 2019 and asked about farm sets. From what I can remember other subthemes had done better when they was testing it in target groups. E.g. maybe they made some farm sets and some police sets and the police sets was more liked among the kids (I am not sure exactly how they do it). Anyway this can be changing since several farm sets has apparently passed the test lately and made it out on to the shelf's. In addition the safari subtheme was very animal focused, so maybe a farm subtheme focused 50/50 on animals and vehicles is not so unlikely now
  10. Likely and likely, but they might do it if it has another colour in the set
  11. If it has a different colour they might do it
  12. No wonder I did not like it much, another one I can skip then
  13. Bard looks like a forest-man in blue so I like it, maybe we will get some in green next year for the anniversary set?
  14. Is there somewhere in the world that calls foals for pony's? The old foal mould is also called pony on BL Anyway I love the toucan and foal Other than that I think the series look a little plain. From what I can see from the picture I rank them: Toucan girl and foal girl, win automaticity because of the animals Bard looks like the best fig if we do not include the animals Acorn and snow warrior look ok Welder is fine as a city fig I guess Racoon and chilli costume is rather boring (we get sooo many costume figs), but since I have most of the other costumes I will get them maybe I have no interest in sport and space figs and the moon fig is a little "way out there" for me so will probably not buy the 4 last ones
  15. They look fantastic
  16. It was in September and it is a hole team: https://www.brickfanatics.com/lego-hiring-confidentiality-director-leaks/ Anyway they have been working against leaks for many years and and my feeling is that we got a lot more leaks a few years ago compared to the most recent years. They often happened earlier as well I think, now leaks happen a lot of the time say under 24 hours before the reveal and are not very useful
  17. Can you post a link with the picture? I is the first time TLG has made a set with fish under the ice right or fish under the water for that matter? Edit: found it
  18. Since it is a friends penguin that is more likely, they probably used the budget to make the part in that colour and the Chinese new year theme just took advantage of the part being available
  19. That was my plan also, but since I have not been to a Lego store since 2019 I might be able to get it from B&P before BAM (a lot of stores even has prebuilt minifigs so making army-building animals even harder)
  20. There is also one in the aquarium in the lower right corner of the other set That is odd, but I think you are right, however as long as the normal one is the minifig one I am happy Hopefully it will not be so experience and pop up on B&P..
  21. The Chinese new year sets are always packed with parts in new colours, lots of minifigs and great sets all around, but animal moulds has never been the strong suit in the theme. However this time it looks like we are getting a couple of birds in the sets: https://www.thebrickfan.com/lego-chinese-new-year-2022-sets-revealed/ The first one is the normal small bird ("white sparrow") that is so common in sets now that it is almost not worth mentioning (hopefully we can get a pigeon soon that become just as normal in sets ), the second one is the penguin that is not common at all in sets I could be wrong since since the pictures are so small so it is hard to see What do you think? Do you see other animals there?
  22. I do not think it is the same one the old one came with ladybugs and flowers so they where probably the same "part" (all of them made at the same time and put in a bag) the old one has a hole in the center, this one do not from the looks of it
  23. TLGs leak hunters are doing a god job
