    Do not think that is a coincidence at all Makes sense, get it out when the hype is at its peak. Strange they did not release it before the season starts, maybe the set leaks something from the show

    Depends on if the set had the budget for a resurrection, I assume not. And designers do not necessary know what other designers are working on or if they can use a mould another set use the budget on.. They might use another dog, however with the HP budget and the gimic of a collectors item it seems strange to use subpar moulds

    Then they can bring it back like the goat or make a new mould for another breed, but pretty sure we will get Ron's. I do not remember what kind of breed it was in the movies 🤔

    Would not surprise me if this collectible patronus animals are a very good idea that will be popular both with kids and older customers, so hopefully it also will continue for some time also. I assume a lot of the characters have known animals even if they where not in the movies or even the books, so the longer this go on the bigger chance of new animals

    The problem is that they are licensed so they most likely will not turn up on PAB. In addition Lego seems to prefer that we buy sets instead of buying loose parts on PAB and keep desirable parts away from PAB if they suspect it will damage set sales

    Finally some exciting animal news for next year HP sets will include collectible patronus figs! So far a otter and a wolf is known, both are animals we have, the otter even originated as a patronus animal However we might get at least one new animal mould from this. It they continue we might get more I must say a lot more interesting than the pearl gold figs they usually give us for anniversary figs A deer doe is likely I would say

    With that way of reasoning, we just need a battlepack of figs, most uf us have enough white brick anyway The set could have a horse in another color and some sets must include horses or they will go out of production. So it's not a waste of budget to me at least, but I am more interested in animals then most 😅

    My guess is they save her for another set, they only seem to focus on figs inside the City

    Do not seem like a generous minifig line up, but in line with a lot of other sets lately so could be everything. Maybe there is a gwp with a fig or two as well Will for sure cost a lot to build a army of those figs I wonder if the set will have horses, would not surprise me if Lego skip them to save money

    For some reason parts out of stock just disappear now Aquarium leaked, I only see 4 snails, the rest of the animals are brick built

    BLDP are a rather niche product compared to a normal Lego set, I have no interest in them and I am probably not alone. I addition a casual buyer will never stumble upon them in a shop. However you are right Lego missed the mark with this one, something closer to the prelim and it would have sold a lot more I think. It still is on sale and that is saying a lot, many people still think it is to expensive for what you get.. I was on a talk by TLG in SFW about getting a job at Lego. Basically it was how they hire designers. And what was mentioned most times was the need to be able to build smaller (like one with fantastic MOCs can be useless as a Lego designer) and MTS is a perfect example. The prelim is what you like to make, then they reduce the budget and force you to build something cheaper and we end up with MTS on a budget..

    They have nothing to do with the price, that is probably a more sinister department higher up in the system Can hope, but not so often PAB parts go on sale and even at half the price it's to expensive..

    Apparently January as a compromise between the PAB team and whoever wanted to keep them out of the service, however only the Space men are confirmed so far Sorry to take away your hope, but I know a PAB employee have cheeked it and confirmed the price was right A wrong price was my initial hope as well, so BL or swapping it is

    That's what I was worried about so ordered a small flock without any GWP etc (not a thing that I normally do), Hopefully they are back in stock when the double points hit The unicorn shield is very expensive

    The only reason that make sense is that it is exclusive to one set and TLG rather want us to buy that set than buy them loose on PAB. After all the PAB team had to fight hard to get the minifigures from the vending machine to PAB at all (I am starting to fear the price on them now) so this might be a much more important reason than I thought in regards to prices on PAB I hope the pigeon will show up in a lot of sets at least if there is a correlation between what we pay and the designers use of the budget for the part? It would be really funny if the BAM team use the fox next year It seems it has showed up at Legoland Germany for a much more sensible price, but that is not confirmed (just that some German BL sellers have started selling them in higher numbers)..

    The price do not say anything about the budget, compare it to 7189 Mill Village Raid that is a proper high budget set and it cost a lot less. We would probably not have gotten the goat back if it where not for this set, but it needed the help of the CMF to pull it of. If it had a higher budget it could have done that and maybe included a goat kid as well (in addition to a lot more animals)...

    Set is retiring so the part are going as well.. Only 1 seagull, they just got 2 different numbers.. Some of the animals are up, some are better than expected, and some a lot worse! Pigeon $ 1.6 Wolf pup $2 Fox $16!! Friends pony $10!
