Of course it is in the works, this was finished before September after all, but do not think they show it to LAN in some time. However they will not necessarily release it even if they make it, but I guess this will sell a lot so I guess a big LOTR set will show up in a years time Animals like horses are apparently expensive to include in sets so I guess since they could get a way with not including them here they used that budget on other things. Hopefully we will get some horses in future LOTR sets They sign a NDA and I guess most of them are serious fan media, what do they have to earn on telling about stuff like this? However some are leaking pictures from LAN and several of them has been banned the last couple of years Yes I do not think they would use budget on a part like that, I a sure it will pop up in some other sets soon I really hope they do not replace any Castles sets with LOTR now or in the future! Castle sets should replace Castle sets, so I hope they manage to keep both themes going at the same time. The Castle medieval village is in the works so hopefully that is happening next in the Castle line. I like this LOTR set a lot and happy that the fans finally have got the theme back, but I like Castle sets more and we have had a decade without sets as well until recently

Sorry, but he did not.. Yes, I believe it was from the fan media days in September (?) so he is taking about this set releasing in March this year nothing else

Yes the limits are to high now, I have started swapping GWP to get the ones i want. I may miss out on some, but at least I do not need to buy Lego sets for full price just to get them

Hope it lines up with the Castle parts on PAB For Rivendell you should hope for something more, at least 2 GWP for that rumored price

It was not in the same leak and anyway people are debating if the set is exactly the same as in the leak or if it was just a prelim. I guess we will know tomorrow, anyway it do not mean we will get a set like the sorting hat since most of the other sets definitely was prelims in different stages. The sorting hat seems very unlikely as a set to me, but the burrows might happen I guess

Will be very interesting to see how different this is to the prelim that leaked, regarding the other sets especially the medieval village for me. Rivendell was one of the sets that looked most finished in the leak, so if they changed a lot here that is to be expected from the other leaked ones as well.

If Lego release the medieval village (cross my fingers) how many animals can we expect to get in it do you think? Based on the leaked photo and that it seems to focus on animals I think it can have a lot 1 horse (would make sense to have more than one, but I think they will use the budget on other animals so probably not a new color either and it is only one in the picture. MMV/MVR had only 1 each also) 0-1 foal (would be nice to get one in a new color and it has never been in a "normal set", but it is no one in the picture so probably not included) 1 cow (would be nice to get 2 in the set, but if we combine it with the castle we get 2. MMV had 2, but we probably get a calf instead of the second cow here. Not much hope of a recolor either) 1 calf (is in the picture and make sense, probably the same color) 1-2 sheep (there is 2 in the picture so hopefully we get 2 with the wool-part maybe 1 sheep with a recolor.) 0-1 lamb (there is 1 in the castle and no one in the picture so 50-50 if they swap it with a sheep) 1-2 goat (a 3-D printed one in the picture and if we get the set it would be a perfect opportunity to bring the mould back from good old MVR. I am sure it will be a recolor and it makes sense to give us 2 if they not for some reason wants to keep it as exclusive as possible ) 0-1 kid (the cat looks like a kid stand-in to me, but maybe they just 3-D printed that as well if they planned to include one. However they do like to make new juvenile animals so could include it instead of one of the adult goats I guess) 0 pig (makes sense in the set, but not in the picture so probably not) 0 piglet (makes sense in the set, but not in the picture so probably not) 0-1 cat (is one in the picture and was supposed to be one in the castle before it was swapped out for a lam in the last minute, so if it is not a goat kid stand-in it is probably included) 0 kittens (probably not) 0 dogs/puppies (better to use the budget on other animals since they are so common in other sets) 0-2 hens (cannot see anyone, but would be strange not to include any here or in the castle, maybe not budget for them with all the other animals) 1 owl (it is 3 in the picture, but guess 1 will be included) 1 squirrel (looks like 2 in the picture, but guess the set include 1) 2 small bird (the picture looks to have several, but guess the set include 2) 0-1 falcon (could be that it is swapped with one of the owls in the picture) 0-1 hare (could fit in nicely, but maybe not budget for it) Probably some frogs , fish and or butterfly's (if they are unprinted cost nothing more than normal bricks to include) 12 printed animals would be a lot for a set even one like this so I do not dare hope for more. How many do you think they will include, anyone I have not thought off?

One of the Indiana Jones sets has not surprisingly some snakes in it, I can only see 4 so far but it should have a lot more. Anyway looks like the old snake mould comes in a couple of new colours there

That is a odd GWP, just looks like a normal City set, they do a lot of new stuff these days so I guess it is possible

Yes that is one of the better VIP add-on packs so far Since we just got 2 white rabbits in the last one, a rabbit with a different colour or another animal like a second lam (if we only get one) would have been preferable The Dreamzzz sets almost all have different animals in their title so could be a very nice theme for animal moulds

MMV is rather colourful and the Castle is not, but I think it will go very well with both (in addition to MVR) Will be a nerve-racking time before we see definite proof that they will release it

No it is odd indeed This could be true, but we only got one leaker why would another participant leak Rivendell and nothing else form their survey at the same time They got around 50 sets at the start and only got more questions from the ones they where interested in.. I am all in for the medieval village and really hope they make it, what a dream come true that would be of a set Was not planning on buying any LOTR sets, but Rivendell looks good so will wait for the release to decide

OK, interesting, that make sense.. I hope you and the rest taking the survey gave the medieval village both thumbs up because that is a dream set for me

Was there a option to say not interested or did you have to name a price for every set? Most of the sets I am not interested in buying so my answer would be 0 even for a 500$ set

I think the set itself looks rather finished, but believe some of the animals are stand-ins. The cat looks like a goat kid stand-in, 3 owl is crazy not even HP sets gets that any more, maybe one is a stand-in for a falcon. Some hens would make sense closer to the house maybe. 2 squirrels in trees? 2 small blue birds on roofs?

Small?! That is my biggest problem with the blacksmith; it is to big so it is not in scale with any other set. This on the other hand looks to be in perfect scale with MMV/MVR and probably the 90 year castle. I think you can close them so you get 2 buildings.. Apparently not to AFOLs, because this is the biggest bomb to go of in a while

That is without doubt the most exiting set on the list for me, would be a Lego dream come true

A set that is a "expansion" of MMV and MVR would be a dream set

It is a fantastic set and I hope we get a similar set as a follow up to the 90 year castle. From what I read in interviews with the designers they made a village in front of the castle, but the hole thing was so big so they just kept some minifigs with accessories and focused on the castle. If we are lucky they spit them in two sets so we get a MMV/MVR follow up next in Castle

Nothing is guaranteed they are blind-bags after all. I think Lego try to pack 3 of each, but they do not say it is and errors happen so think it is rather common to get a mix up..

No, they have started to limited some popular parts to 35 per order! That is a excellent feature, instead of 1 person ordering 999 of a rare part and put them up for sale on BL, 28 people or more can order the same part with a limit of 35 I just hope the open up the rest of the Castle parts soon for the rest of the world..
