  1. Looks like Gitte Thorsen is back with Lego from what I can see from this picture: She has made a lot of the animal moulds in her career among them the goat, maybe it is a sign
  2. Probably to get the facts even if they assumed it was not a problem Since they did the experiment and came to that conclusion I assume it can only be positive for PAB in the future I sent in a big order yesterday, so now I have only a few Castle parts left on my list. Aa few of them showed up during the night, but not many enough so I can get free shipping so I will wait.. Hopefully I can time it with the next VIP-farmer bag GWP
  3. Yes, I believe that is right, but I could not find the link strait away So it is possible that they split them and started developing 2 separate models All valid points, hope you are right I prefer to build the walls with smaller parts like in the 90 year castle myself, but I assume they would be more expensive if they did. Lego was very expensive in the late 80ties early 90ties, e.g.6086: Black Knight's Castle 588 parts for 85$ and the average salary etc was a lot lower then today
  4. It do not think it is a promotional render Is it not as much work to build it digitally as in real life if you can not scan an original set first? So i assume it depends on if the designer likes to build with real bricks or do it digitally My guess is that they started developing this at the same time as the 90th year castle and then split them up since it was to big for one set..
  5. Well indirectly they asked if the participants where interested in the sets and how much they would pay for it if they where so that is a way to find out if it should be made. There where sets there that was unlikely like the sorting hat as well however this set was one of the more finished ones. in addition it had the inclusion of a 3D printed goat. Why would they go to the trouble of printing the goat if there was not a new mould on the way?! If they needed a goat for illustrating only I am sure they could find one easy at the Lego HQ they could borrow. When it comes to this set, it is most important that we get it on shelf's, hopefully the price is not to bad and it is possible to get it on sale in normal shops later I am crossing every body-part and biting nails until it is confirmed August this year is the first possibility I think, Lego is 91 year after all
  6. For some reason City sets have been really expensive in the states lately. It "only" cost 50€, might even been cheaper before the price hike in August, so in a set outside City you might get more animals for your buck However the rest of your arguments are still true
  7. Lego make bigger and bigger sets and more of them as well, I am happy we get a set for Castle every year or every second year (if that is the case). I do not mind that they are big since I can buy less other sets and buy that instead. Of course there are a lot of people who can not afford a big set no matter what, however you can buy parts like animals and minifigs from the sets for the price of a smaller set Do you remember the price range and the most likely price for the set as well?
  8. There is also a fishbowl print (not nice to keep fish in fishbowls, they should be kept in aquariums, Disney). I will wait for better pictures to see if I can use anything besides the frog
  9. It has 1300 parts less then the castle, but a lot more animals so could be 300$, but I hope for less.. I believe every set in the poll had a price range and then the most likely price, have we gotten that info for this set yet?
  10. This is a new colour for that hat/hair right?
  11. Nice @Triceron I will add in what I can see, and hopefully other can do the same Owl and squirrel (?) in tree some mushrooms at the base . have no Idea what it is, could be a oven i guess, but what is the rest? peasant girl with red apple to be more specific Is the small build a cart with bread? Blue bard is a jester on stilts I think. Marked stall selling cheese (?) Another marked stall (?) beehind () there seems to be a row of plants, maybe flowers or tomatoes made with the new fern piece in more than one color (?) I doubt it is a viking, looks to big to be a minifig, not sure what it could be. something orange among the plants, maybe a pumpkin? a small red bird or chicken/hen to the right on the ground? a small blue bird on the roof. A small red bird or chicken/hen on the ground? a small red bird on the nest in the middle of the building? Owl on top of the tree, made with dark green fern parts upside down? Could also be a owl? Brown frog on top of the left side of the roof? small blue bird on the lower roof? white snake part used as smoke out of the chimney? think it is a squirrel not a bird. also some mushrooms at the base
  12. Thanks for the info A extension of MMV was just what I was hoping for It looked to be in scale, but nice to get it confirmed It also fits with buildings in different colours and shape, but with the same opened and closed style. Interesting to get something else than the blacksmith for a change My guess is that the stall in the middle are selling cheese
  13. Should be 12-15 minifigs (most of them civilians) in the set I guess if it has 1200 parts less then the castle? A huge number of animals may put it closer too 12 than 15 @JeanGreyForever Do you have any more info about the set? Was there a text describing the set or just a picture?
  14. Good news! The picture evidence you posted suggest you are only missing 2 Still not any more Castle parts in the rest of the world
  15. The Disney train comes with a small new pirate sail
  16. Bullseye The set also comes with a little red bird and a new hen in teal I think
  17. Yes, on the top of my head I can not think of any set with over 10 printed animals 60346: Barn & Farm Animals and 60307: Wildlife Rescue Camp both had 8 and 7189: Mill Village Raid had 7 Yes
  18. Looks like there is a cat as well, but hard to tell
  19. Could be, I do not know what other part they could have used either Me too
  20. How many new moulds are there in the set? weapons (1 bag with several moulds made for the set only count as one) fern (probably made with the budget of another set coming later this year) ? What failed last time was kids not buying the sets, so would not be surprised it the theme only get one big D2C a year
  21. No kid in the picture, but the cat looks like a stand in. I would not be surprised that when they finally bring back the goat they could also give us a kid at the same time, seeing all the juvenile animals we have gotten lately
  22. This would be a dream set for me if it comes out Would go perfect with MVR and MMV in addition to last years castle in my mind. I do not see to many minifigs in the picture so assume they will add more since the castle had a lot, hove many do you see? soldier in the tower soldier behind the cow forestman on the horse jester on stilts girl giving the cow a apple noble woman in front of the carrige and behind the table female in the middle of the two houses on the left man with backpack in front of the tree The apiary is a fun detail The yellow and red stall in the middle are maybe selling cheese Is there a carriage to the right of the stall? Do any of you have suggestions for other details?
  23. What do you mean?! If you get double VIP points depends on when you order not when they ship Could not agree more I just hope Lego release the medieval village set that leaked, maybe it include a goat kid
