    If not that goat one with different colors and or print will show up in PAB, maybe also BAM even if that have been crappy lately with regards to animals March 3rd the latest when MTS hits the shelf we will know that goat(s) that will show up in PAB later

    It is possible they sold out they extra sails they had in PAB storage even if they did not have enough in the factories to make a new batch of sets Might be that you are on to something, there are definitely something not adding up with B-bay. It was also during the pandemic when Lego sold a lot and had issues with producing enough of a lot of sets. However it's a odd decision from a business point to retire a set with a clear demand for it with several months of no stock to prove it

    I meant that City will get their own mould. Since they often get new animal moulds not long after when Friends get one and vice versa, but they seldom swap them around between themes. And if Friends and city go to the same jungles? As you say makes sense for Friends to go to south America, but do that necessarily mean that City will co there too

    Only 2 months until it is for sale today That is nothing when I have been waiting 12 years for the set When do we expect them to reveal it? 1-2 weeks before it is for sale?

    It is interesting and probably reflects rather well how I personally feel about the theme however I do not think it say much about how well the theme is selling overall. I have gotten several pictures from friends this x-mas with their kids building HP sets they got now.

    Maybe it is because this are sets for AFOLs and not new customers as a lot of other sets they make for adults these days? We know about the set long before it hits the marked, then most of us buy it within a year. Maybe they are not intended to convince a random shopper that sees the set on shelf and decide to buy it without knowing about it However B-bay was really strange, since that was sold out for months and I am sure they could have sold a lot more of them if people was able to buy them for a longer period

    That could be a valid point since they will earn a lot more on exclusive sets sold for full price than selling the set for half price or similar to another retailer Eldorado fortress is probably the closest we get since it is a similar type of Icons set, but this have like 800 parts extra for only 15$ more. And Eldorado has only 8 minifigs and a lot of them are basically the same in addition very few animals. It will be very interesting to see what they have done with the set. Of course if Lego said to the designers this is a set focused on animals and civilians so you can include 10 animals from other sets in the set for "free". I do not know if they do that, but would suddenly explain the decent price on the set included generous amounts of minifigs and animals

    21348 Dungeons & Dragons 360$ 3745 parts expected around April! Why do not this set have its own tread?

    MTS 3304 parts 230$ D&D 3745 parts 360$ Either MTS has really good value or something is wrong here D&D has licensing of course, but probably not that many minifigs and the dragon is not moulded right?! So it seems a little expensive, but not unlikely I guess with the prices today MTS has not the licensing cost and save some there, but with only 441 parts less and 130$ cheaper with lots of minifigs and moulded animals?! That's Ninjago City set value just with half the size and plenty of moulded animals included. Not impossible, but will be really interesting to see the finished set, if they have done it right it is probably the set of the year

    I am pretty sure the same boxes of parts are not used to get parts for sets and PAB. PAB standard are only packed in Billund and probably a lot of sets are not even packed there, but in other factories around the world. It also make little sense that a box used in the PAB facility suddenly are moved to the factory to use the rest of the parts for sets

    The pirate is OK, but the rest a let down to me, the accessories are really bad. Not a single animal and the lion knight we can buy on PAB, why not re-release the white falcon instead

    I see a Norwegian (maybe the same one as you?) has it for earliest shipping 7th of January. I assume they expect it in stock in the start of January, opening price is around 50$ lower than Lego. How much lower it will go depends probably on if other shops in Norway may sell it or not. Most sets will show up in other shops after a few months in my experience, LKC and DA are one of the few exceptions. Lego probably do this to earn more money on the sets. I talked to a fellow Norwegian AFOL who run a independent shop and he said it was impossible to make the shop a living because of this. When Lego release say a new modular a lot of customers ask for it and want to buy it from him, but he can not sell it for half a year and then most of them already have bought it from Lego..

    Some of the sets like MTS was very closed to the finished product in the leak others where definitely not, makes sense that the sorting hat and MTS are released at the start of the year then while a lot of the others are not even "confirmed" yet. I got the impression it was re-release of the lion knight parts we got there earlier If so why can not TLG understand that most of us need the white falcon fig and not parts we can buy from PAB

    Yes!! We have gotten 2 sets like this before, the last one was 12 years ago. I hope there is not 12 years until next, but they should really make the most of it and for once a good PPP is not so high on my priorities as it usually is.. If we get generous amounts of animals and minifigs then a good PPP is a nice bonus, however if we get a bare minimum of animals and minifigs to give us a nice PPP they have failed.. I do not think they will do it, but it would be fantastic if they included instructions for a second set of buildings so we can buy 2 sets and double the size of the village similar to B-bay Merry Christmas to all Castle village fans

    Excellent x-mas gift to get the release date It's a D2C so not necessarily we get much news now before it is revealed I worry a little bit about the price, on one side it is great that it's a good value as long as they have not saved money on the budget when it comes to animals and minifigs
