Would fit perfectly with a goat statue in this set City or modular building would probably fit really well for say a horse one, so would be interesting to see if they give us one in the future -

It may come as no surprise, but that is a huge deal to me If they clearly save budget on animals in a set like this I will be very disappointed even if the rest of the set is great.. Sure I will learn to like it after some time if that is the case, but this have a chance to be one of my all time favorite Lego sets so I hope they do not blow it because they wanted to save money Other than that I agree with you, if it's close to the prelim the set will most likely be fantastic. I am so hyped I try too temper my expectations, but without much luck I do not think we will get much more info before the reveal, but I could be wrong, Anyway February is only a couple of weeks away -

Hard to know, if you had to make a new version of Eldorado fortress. The best would probably been to say to the designers make a Pirate bluecoat land based set instead of a remake. For me after the boat there was a rather tedious build with loots of small parts for the fort and a lot of rock building. The end-result is not half bad for what it is, but the build experience is not living up to the fantastic experience from B-bay or the very nice one from LCK. Eldorado fortress from 1989 is one of my all time favorites and that Lego make a set like that is a dream come true so it is too bad it did not spark more joy and enthusiasm in me However I am still super hyped for Medieval Town Square -
Probably in addition, if I remember correctly polybags have a different number after all
-
Interesting news, I am sure more news will pop up soon It could definitely be a only 2 sets and a polybag from Congo, 2 sets from South America and 2 sets from Asia so they could include a tiger and some cubs etc

If I remember correctly HP was the most asked after Lego sets from customers the shops did not sell for years leading up to that. The theme had also 4 out of the 10 bestselling sets from Lego that year to prove it! I do not think LOTR can match that, but would not be surprised if Rivendell is on the top 10 for 2023

I gave basically that feedback to Lego for the Eldorado fortress I built this weekend It seems MTS will have a guarded inn replicate at worst (might only be inspired by it) and the rest are new stuff taken inspiration from old sets, so hopefully not a big issue with this set Me too, but depends how it looks how many copies I will get If they give me a stupid excuse, like include instructions for a 2-1 build I might get even more You have a point, if we did not know anything about this set and in suddenly turned up in February people might be more positive at first sight. Now the hype train is going at top speed people might not be as positive if the set do not live up to their expectations at first sight. However if it is a fantastic set people quickly readjust and get more positive. In this case we have a prelim so for me as long as this is close to the prelim we are golden, time will show -

Too late for that I am super hyped They will not give us unprinted animals, they might give us a lot fewer than on the prelim if say people replied in the survey they was not willing to pay that much for the set as Lego was expecting. On the other hand if you go to buy a car and they ask you how much you are willing to pay for a Ferrari you are looking at. You say something and then they say sorry for that you can get this Lada instead, you might not be interested to buy the Lada at all As I said before if if Lego told the designers that you could have 10 animals for "free" outside the budget with this set problem would be solved and everybody would be happy -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 25. Rumors and discussion
Roebuck replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Us old timers need some time getting the hang of it I had some issues in the beginning since the app is scanning everything like the barcode and other stuff in the store if I am not careful, but it takes a picture of what is scanned so I just glance there to confirm it is right. If I knew it would be this easy I would probably not have ordered 4 boxes I have found 5 goats in a couple of shops so far. Only gotten one box and it had 1 extra red herring and a dog missing, do not know how common this is. However 1/3 of the figs in the box I could not scan and even the same fig could have small and big codes in the same box. The weighing is not the best several figs very close or overlapping So far no luck selling the extra figs, hope that improve or else I will be stuck with a lot of extra figs- 574 replies

It is in the Ideas house and not open to the public normally except guided tours etc. I do not know how they calculate it, but assume it is total money the sets sell for. When I was there in 2019, HP came back with a bang in 2018 and had like 4 sets on the list, if I remember correctly both the HP/WW CMF series and the big D2C Hogwarts was on the list and no way they sold the same number of sets However it might be possible that they sold in total for the same more or less, even if you most sell a lot of CMF for every castle
-
If someone could take pictures of the 10 bestselling sets every year when they are visiting the Ideas house in Billund we would at least have that info, however people do not seem to notice them and report the findings unfortunately I built the Eldorado fortress this weekend. While this is a perfect fit for me theme and set I must say I have some cons about it. In general I prefer when they take inspiration from the old sets and not build them directly like here, at least it is possible to display it in the open solution so it seems like something new here. It started very interesting with the boat, but soon there was a lot of rock building and that got a little repetitive even if the end result is nice. There was a lot of small parts in the set and sometimes it felt they where included to increase the PPP ratio, overall definitely not a fantastic building experience like B-bay was.

I built the Eldorado fortress set this weekend and now it is even stranger to me that this set should have a better PPP ratio There is a lot of small parts in the set and a lot of similar parts even minifigs have a lot of parts in common and they are only 8 all things that point to it been cheap. I do not mind if this set is reasonably priced at all as I have said several times previously as long as it do not save money on the animals and minifigs. Sorry for being a broken record, I am just nervous what they have done to the set and exited to see it I guess As long as it is close to the prelim we are in the promised land, March really could not come fast enough -

Too bad about the torso What colour is that diamond? -
Friends got one so it is possible if we get a new farm subtheme in City or similar.. However as your example show it seems that Friends have taken the horse subtheme out of City. In the -80ties and -90ties there was no farms in City, but they had horse-farm sets in Paradisa and before and if they kept producing them a pony would for sure have pooped up by now. Maybe if we get a very big farm subtheme wave a bigger horse-farm set than a horse transporter might happen or maybe if they give us more Castle medieval town sets after MTS or a CMF if it fits in the box Did you get 2 different boxes of 6 with no doubles in them?

I do not know the budget of those sets, but definitely possible they have enough budget to pull of a torso print after all Majisto GWP even managed that Looks like a mix of these two: -

Jepp Jepp I am sure B-bay would sell a lot if they released it, Lego could only sell it exclusively as well It is probably the same problem in Sweden as in Norway, suddenly the currency is not worth a damn shit for some unknown reason So everything that is imported like Lego becomes more expensive, there are rumors here that they will increase the price on Lego again in February (could be the same in Sweden)
