It is in the Ideas house and not open to the public normally except guided tours etc. I do not know how they calculate it, but assume it is total money the sets sell for. When I was there in 2019, HP came back with a bang in 2018 and had like 4 sets on the list, if I remember correctly both the HP/WW CMF series and the big D2C Hogwarts was on the list and no way they sold the same number of sets However it might be possible that they sold in total for the same more or less, even if you most sell a lot of CMF for every castle

If someone could take pictures of the 10 bestselling sets every year when they are visiting the Ideas house in Billund we would at least have that info, however people do not seem to notice them and report the findings unfortunately I built the Eldorado fortress this weekend. While this is a perfect fit for me theme and set I must say I have some cons about it. In general I prefer when they take inspiration from the old sets and not build them directly like here, at least it is possible to display it in the open solution so it seems like something new here. It started very interesting with the boat, but soon there was a lot of rock building and that got a little repetitive even if the end result is nice. There was a lot of small parts in the set and sometimes it felt they where included to increase the PPP ratio, overall definitely not a fantastic building experience like B-bay was.

I built the Eldorado fortress set this weekend and now it is even stranger to me that this set should have a better PPP ratio There is a lot of small parts in the set and a lot of similar parts even minifigs have a lot of parts in common and they are only 8 all things that point to it been cheap. I do not mind if this set is reasonably priced at all as I have said several times previously as long as it do not save money on the animals and minifigs. Sorry for being a broken record, I am just nervous what they have done to the set and exited to see it I guess As long as it is close to the prelim we are in the promised land, March really could not come fast enough

Friends got one so it is possible if we get a new farm subtheme in City or similar.. However as your example show it seems that Friends have taken the horse subtheme out of City. In the -80ties and -90ties there was no farms in City, but they had horse-farm sets in Paradisa and before and if they kept producing them a pony would for sure have pooped up by now. Maybe if we get a very big farm subtheme wave a bigger horse-farm set than a horse transporter might happen or maybe if they give us more Castle medieval town sets after MTS or a CMF if it fits in the box Did you get 2 different boxes of 6 with no doubles in them?

The Icons kingfisher set has leaked almost a month before the release so we might hope for more pictures in the start of February for this set

Jepp Jepp I am sure B-bay would sell a lot if they released it, Lego could only sell it exclusively as well It is probably the same problem in Sweden as in Norway, suddenly the currency is not worth a damn shit for some unknown reason So everything that is imported like Lego becomes more expensive, there are rumors here that they will increase the price on Lego again in February (could be the same in Sweden)

If not that goat one with different colors and or print will show up in PAB, maybe also BAM even if that have been crappy lately with regards to animals March 3rd the latest when MTS hits the shelf we will know that goat(s) that will show up in PAB later

It is possible they sold out they extra sails they had in PAB storage even if they did not have enough in the factories to make a new batch of sets Might be that you are on to something, there are definitely something not adding up with B-bay. It was also during the pandemic when Lego sold a lot and had issues with producing enough of a lot of sets. However it's a odd decision from a business point to retire a set with a clear demand for it with several months of no stock to prove it

I meant that City will get their own mould. Since they often get new animal moulds not long after when Friends get one and vice versa, but they seldom swap them around between themes. And if Friends and city go to the same jungles? As you say makes sense for Friends to go to south America, but do that necessarily mean that City will co there too

It is interesting and probably reflects rather well how I personally feel about the theme however I do not think it say much about how well the theme is selling overall. I have gotten several pictures from friends this x-mas with their kids building HP sets they got now.

Maybe it is because this are sets for AFOLs and not new customers as a lot of other sets they make for adults these days? We know about the set long before it hits the marked, then most of us buy it within a year. Maybe they are not intended to convince a random shopper that sees the set on shelf and decide to buy it without knowing about it However B-bay was really strange, since that was sold out for months and I am sure they could have sold a lot more of them if people was able to buy them for a longer period

That could be a valid point since they will earn a lot more on exclusive sets sold for full price than selling the set for half price or similar to another retailer Eldorado fortress is probably the closest we get since it is a similar type of Icons set, but this have like 800 parts extra for only 15$ more. And Eldorado has only 8 minifigs and a lot of them are basically the same in addition very few animals. It will be very interesting to see what they have done with the set. Of course if Lego said to the designers this is a set focused on animals and civilians so you can include 10 animals from other sets in the set for "free". I do not know if they do that, but would suddenly explain the decent price on the set included generous amounts of minifigs and animals

How is the chance for a horse included in this set? Not high I guess

21348 Dungeons & Dragons 360$ 3745 parts expected around April! Why do not this set have its own tread?

MTS 3304 parts 230$ D&D 3745 parts 360$ Either MTS has really good value or something is wrong here D&D has licensing of course, but probably not that many minifigs and the dragon is not moulded right?! So it seems a little expensive, but not unlikely I guess with the prices today MTS has not the licensing cost and save some there, but with only 441 parts less and 130$ cheaper with lots of minifigs and moulded animals?! That's Ninjago City set value just with half the size and plenty of moulded animals included. Not impossible, but will be really interesting to see the finished set, if they have done it right it is probably the set of the year
