    Yes! Do not understand it either Almost guaranteed that we will get a full wave of HP 3-4 and FB in 2019 or 2020! Lego have already designed the sets or are well on the way for wave 2.. Wave 3 on the other hand are probably more influenced by sale of the first wave! Since wave 1 looks to be selling like crazy I guess they will green light wave 3 soon People expecting the next wave already this winter is most likely disappointed, I expect it next summer at the earliest.. I agree, it is only a promo set and do not mean anything to future releases.. If anything it reduces the chance of a future Diagon Alley being micro-scale

    My thoughts exactly, no more micro-scale; Lego! This gives us a new minifig so that is fine, but I would have preferred a system-scale set e.g. a part of Ollivanders wand shop..

    Well pirates, castle and kingdoms have had advent calendars in the past, so it should be no problem making one for HP/FB! I would be a good theme for it as well, but the main problem as I see it is that we now have 3 different calendars on a yearly basis already: friends (mostly for girls) city (mostly for boys) SW (mostly for older boys) HP/FB wound be great for both boys and girls, so Lego could remove 1,2 or 3 of the normal ones and sell that instead, but it is a big change so probably not next year..

    One step ahead off you Sent TRU a mail and asked, so far they had no info on the promo, so I doubt it is next week unfortunately.. Maybe in October as usual, but strange it is in TRU Germany next week already then

    Harry Potter brictober set is available somewhere (German writhing?) from 27/8-2/9-18 in a add posted on instagram Edit: It is Toys R Us Germany at least! good news for me since it probably will be the same in Norway, bad news for people living in USA and UK..

    The wings of the Thestral (6236256) is for sale, but it is so expensive and the main body part are not coming for sale (I asked), so it do not help me much So unless I can get them cheap on BL I will have to buy 6 sets to get a flock

    Thanks for the review A lot of people were disappointed when it leaked that is was micro-scale, myself included.. It has grown on me as a display piece, it is a really good looking set from the front, the back I do not find so interesting since it is micro-fig details with a huge amount of stickers.. Unlike you I really hope this is the only microfig-scale set we get in the HP line I am only interested in system-scale sets, but since I love HP/FB I will probably buy this set.. I wonder what would make us most happy: The microfig-scale display set we got Something like the new 75222 Betrayal at Cloud City in system scale with plenty of minifigs

    Yes, but I wound be surprised if we get it the coming winter already. In a future wave on the other hand I find it likely I think as stated earlier that next wave is from 3 and 4, so Room of Requirement is unlikely so soon.. Lego usually takes longer that 6 months to develop and produce a set. In this case it is just a small build in a very well received set. They probably noted that adults do not like it, but the chance that they make it a 1 priority to make amends as soon as possible I find hard to believe If we get a COS set next year, that was the plan all along not because off a brick built basilisk

    Eagle eyes If it turns out to be a set, please make it system scale Lego I have come to terms with the D2C Hogwarts being micro-scale, but everything else from HP/FB is hopefully system-scale

    Not very likely! Vestas probably paid Lego a lot of money to give the employees a nice exclusive gift 10 years ago. I do not think Lego could release it (do to licences, agreements etc) even if they liked to.. Probably just someone who found the old picture or maybe Vestas has ordered a new set this year

    Plenty of people know, just not anybody spilling their guts here The only way I can see him being in next years wave is that he was in this years wave, but for some reason was postponed in the last minute.. Say he was one of the bricktober figs or similar, that might had happen.. Other than that he is probably in a polybag, GWP, book etc this year.. I do not like them in general, but do not mind these more than usual.. Moaning Myrtle is rather funny being a nanofig.. Probably slanted them to make them more lively

    It is definitely a large portion of the castle still to build, and if the set sell like crazy they may make it, but some reasons why not: it has to stand on its own, quite hard since this has the most famous parts like GH It would be a part two, so fans need to buy a huge 6000 set and then a second maybe big 4000 set to get a complete set if they retire the first set, people would be mad if they buy the second and then want the first, but it is unavailable the designers say this is the ultimate model On the other hand, it would be bad for sales if they say a new 4000 set is coming and they may want to see how this is doing, but it is not impossible that the designers is already making the second part, but would not count on it

    Hopefully not, every re-release usually takes a spot from a new set! Even tough I am missing some figs from series 1-2 that I like to have, the CMF line has come a long way since series one.. It would almost be like a series full of series 18 police officer figs

    Hopefully the sets have a new animal mould or two, pigeon, crow or vulture could fit in with the post apocalyptic dust-land

    One small issue with the stickers; why do ravenclaw have what looks like a raven in the house emblem, it is suppose to be an eagle

    If you look at the interview I posted further up, they think of this as the ultimate version, so not very likely.. I for one is happy about that, I will buy this D2C for they way it looks and the excellent reviews it got, but I really hope the next D2C from the WW will be system scale set
