    The monkey kid sets were reviled today and it is not difficult to guess where they got the cow-horn and gold-bar from. In addition like I predicted the pig came in another set this year (HP).. The designers did a fantastic job with this set, but as they said they become like pirates themself and stole from a lot of other sets to get parts. I wonder how low their budget really was compared to other sets when they had to steal almost every part

    Possible, but then it is 4 to go If that was the case this years one would have been last year, so still only one a year.. I would love that the more animal mould the better We already got a car this year, but it is possible it is something similar like a air-plane etc

    5 more this year is a lot, when we already got: modular fairground car "English landmark set" aka old Trafford One is of course the winter village, but what about the other 4? The HP set do not count right?

    Surprised that it has proper cannons, since almost everything is brickbuilt I assumed they would be as well How many are there in the set, 2? A small xstra set with a cannon would be perfect and sell like hot cakes now, strange if they do not see the potential there

    Thanks anyway, was still useful Maybe that's where all the owls are, 4 big castle sections and only 2 owls combined so far (all earlier big Hogwarts sets have had minimum 2 each) With the value of the Norwegian currency this days, we should feel lucky if the GWP threshold is not even higher

    Do you have a link? This do not make sense, they did it yesterday on Instagram, but that in no where to be found And today they are doing the same thing on Facebook, not to be found either

    No thanks, I have high hopes for the farm next round and the more sets in this review the better I guess it is because of the virus and a lot of people are sitting at home all the time.. I do not think it is such a big problem for Lego to review sets either, they did increase the time so more sets should have a chance to make it. A lot of them are probably out of the question rather quick, a few maybe and 1-2 instant approved

    You are probably right, in BL the old one is even called HP Pigwidgeon They most have used up the budget since they did not include Errol If there is a extra set in August I assume it is a small one like in the cave or similar Probably less if it is system-scale with more minifigs

    Thanks for the tip, always interesting to get some insight from the designers, like this: "over the years we have loosen up the tie-in to specific movies... we pick iconic moments/locations over anything else. The whomping willow set with the car was supposed to be retired by now... but the sets remain so popular that we haven’t taken it out of the market yet. So now we end up with two cars at the same time... oh well... first world problems!" Definitely! The animals at least the ones that need a new mould we have to hope for the CMF I think What new moulds did we get with the sets? Otter Hare Centaur Flying owl ? They are definitely using the new mould budget on animals and that makes me happy (just wish they could include more of the ones we already got like more owls)

    I think he meant a proper hook for fishing @Pdaitabird you must give us a report if you try The Harry Potter sets are up! We get the pig in a set as I was expecting (no way the Pirates bay could afford that pig ) There is also two sets with the brown owl, unsure if it is the same or a slightly different print. The new flying owl is in several sets and of course the otter and hare in one set

    I was about to comment that the fan-cites probably have the pictures already and then they where up The virus got it? RIP I knew it, no way the Pirates Bay set could afford that pig Finally another owl in the sets, but I still think they could have included more owls He is the design lead so he probably do not have the time, but plenty of other talented designers on that theme

    Is the shark in a new colour in HS as well? Not that it is much use to me with that crazy head-print There is a fish in an unusual colour in a ninjago set, but I think it is the same as in the DC CMF

    @cebelicamya For some reason I can not quote your post No, that fish and of course other fish like sharks.. No, not a new colour.. Hehe, they could have put a few in the middle of the ocean as well I think No and yes The colours are right, but that only adds up to eight not nine

    The BAM is rather expensive per part so probably worth it for Lego to add printed parts Hehe, sorry was not very clear, what I meant was the standard small Lego fish Why did they not include a shoal of those @cebelicamya can not remember seeing one

    It is probably a part that is not currently in production even if they have the mould. So it cost more "designer coins" to bring it back into production, and with the low budget on the ideas set they could not afford it. They could not even afford the chrome coins/ingot that was last in a friends set in 2019 (I assume it is a pricey part because of the chrome).. What Lego could have done was included the monkey with the CMF pirate, with their high budget it should have been no problem at all, she only have a sword

    If all kids where like that we would have a lot more animals in sets

    I am starting to suspect that the printing (mostly the eyes) are the reason why animals are so expensive for the designers to include in sets. Animals like the crab are much more common than e.g the lobster. The old rat was in a lot of sets, the new one with eye-print is rare. If that is right then the animals without print should cost the same as any other brick in the same size. Then it is strange that as far as I can see there are not a single normal fish in the deep sea sets

    Goat Sounds like a sale pitch for shops or similar, the descriptions on Lego@home do not sound like that

    From what I can see the ship and other builds look good, but I will probably spend my money on a second Bay set instead of pulling the trigger on this one
