  1. I think it is can't be combined with other Hogwarts sets Sounds like a cross between Disney princess books and the first HP sets with cardboard background
  2. Did not Trelawney only make right predictions, so you could be in luck Like the sound of the last one
  3. It is to early for 2HY news and that is definitely not the main wave so looks like it yes
  4. Hopefully another Hufflepuff, would make no sense that Cedric is in the same class since he is older
  5. To bad the sets do not come with new students I guess with all the sales the HP sets are having it was too tempting to give us a winter wave also.. This sound like something completely new, so I must see them before I can judge
  6. I am sure it will be
  7. You are most likely right
  8. If some of you do not follow this blog: https://blockwarts.org/2020/09/12/roundtable-interview-with-diagon-alley-designer-marcos-bessa/ Interesting interview, surprised that Ollivanders, Quality Quidditch Supplies and Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes was the only shops in the first model. Since Gringotts was left out from the start, it makes it only more likely we get it next year. They can never say anything about the future, but still hope we get shops from the other side as well
  9. With new moulds a possibility in Ideas sets now, I hope we get the goat here Wes Talbott is the designer of the set if people did not know
  10. To bad the pirates set did not get a bigger budget, but it is about time that Ideas sets got it! I hope for a pigeon mould, but the chances are slim I guess
  11. Love to get more FB sets, the 2 first ones where fantastic! I hope we get a lot of figs and maybe some new animal moulds in future sets Maybe we get a normal 100$ Hogwarts set next year and 1-2 smaller sets to get more of the figs included like ROR this year When it comes to HP next year I am most exited to see expansion sets of DA. Gringotts is almost guaranteed, but I would not mind a second set of shops either so Lego reassure us that we will get the hole DA in the years to come I assume that would benefit the sale of the DA also if people know for sure that it will be new collectible series with yearly sets instead of a standalone set
  12. From what I remember none of the submissions had new parts right, so I assume they do nothing Lately the ideas results have become harder to guess and I have been way of, but here it goes: 1. The Mountain Windmill No, is it from a popular game (if so maybe, but probably not)? 2. Community - Greendale Community College No, to specific 3. Lego HeroQuest No, has not Lego done something similar and ninjago is like a bordgame now as well 4. Brickwest Studios Maybe, pirates, caste and now western? However do not like the film aspect of the set even if it makes it more original, at least a good chance for some animals 5. House from Up No, have they not turned down several already? 6. Animal Crossing New Horizons: Nook's Cranny Maybe, since it is from a popular game 7. Trabant 601 No, it is a car and Lego already make those 8. Night At The Museum Maybe, is it from a film? Do not think that the film is popular enough, so probably no 9. Fast Food Corner No, modular 10. Avatar: The Last Airbender Maybe, but Lego already have had the license right? 11. Portal 2 - GLaDOS vs Chell and Wheatley No, Lego already have had the license I think 12. BMW M1 (E26) No another car 13. Caribbean Clipper No, they are probably making their own pirates sets 14. Sheriff's Safe with Combination Lock No, too specific, however they made the piano so a small maybe 15. 31 Minutos T.V. Studio No, what is this a Spanish TV show? 16. Southwest 737-800 No, they can make their own planes 17. Terry Pratchett's Discworld No, turned down before, but I like the books 18. Seasons In Time: Calendar Yes, seems original enough so a good chance I think 19. Exploratorium No, looks like something for their new platform instead 20. Hocus Pocus - Sanderson Sisters' Cottage No, the movie is not popular enough 21. Schitt's Creek: The Rosebud Motel No, never heard of the film, series etc 22. Gold Rush Mine Train Roller Coaster No, Lego can make their own 23. Vincent van Gogh: The Starry Night Maybe if the arts theme is selling well 24. The Fortress - Imperial Army No, pirates 25. Seagull Bay Lighthouse Imperial Fortress No, pirates 26. The Bakery No, another modular 27. Bangladesh National Parliament (Jatiyo Sangshad Bhaban) No, Lego makes their own architecture sets 28. LEGO Doggo Maybe, would probably made it a couple of year ago now I am not so sure 29. Zen Bonsai Maybe if it do not look to similar to Ninjago gardens 30. Naruto: Ichiraku Ramen Shop No, too close to Ninjago 31. Temple of Hermit No, to close to Ninjago 32. The Ocean House Maybe, good chance for some animals, going in the same bag as fishing store so possible 33. Medieval Market No, a castle set. A great set, but the designer should have put in more animals 34. Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout Course Maybe since it is a game I assume 35. Ratatouille: ReOpen The Doors! No, already got turned down
  13. I find it hard to believe that it has anything to do with lack of ideas, they always say they have plenty of ideas left in interviews and if that was the case they would just stop the theme cold turkey . Just like they could have given us 16 new characters for HP, but only gave us a few. It is the same with normal series they will give us variations of older figs however that do not mean that they are running out of ideas.. To me it makes most sense that it has something to do with price, either that they lower the cost not to increase the price even further or that they are so pricey now that most kids can not get all 16 (easier to afford 12)
  14. Sounds strange to me, maybe because the price is so high now that it is hard for collectors/kids to justify buying all of them I am only buying those I am interested in, so fewer figs sounds to me like a step in the wrong direction with less variation.. If the translation was right Promobricks suggest that the ideas are running low, that is almost guaranteed not the reason, in those interviews I have seen with the designers they always have plenty of ideas for future series. Also that the animals are the selling point rather than the figs, well that certainly is the case for me, but the 2 last series have only had one each
  15. Thank you for a excellent review I know a lot of talented people will make their own editions of the missing shops now, but I hope Lego will give the rest of us most of them in sets in the years to come as well. It would be such a missed opportunity if they do not give us at least one set a year that we can collect to expand the DA street. A lot of the most known shops are missing, and with the modular style of the buildings and the ever growing popularity of the theme that is the only thing that is making sense to me
  16. The BAM has a new fig that has useful parts for a random DA fig: https://www.promobricks.de/lego-bam-halloween-minifiguren/108123/
  17. Looks like it is no new animals unfortunately, but the figs look good: https://www.promobricks.de/lego-bam-halloween-minifiguren/108123/
  18. They have started with that, a lot of pirates sets have been removed or not even being allowed to submit the idea in the first place. The ones that made it to 10 000 is probably just rejected at once as well. A lot of other sets are probably also rejected immediately, so say 20 sets are out of the question it is better to have 10 to chose from than say 2 like before I guess
  19. No as long as you are talking about minifig animals, minidoll animals on the other hand However I like the old ones as well, but the new ones are generally a step up The problem in my mind is how few animals we are getting in sets, they could easily included twice as many in this set
  20. Yes I agree! The first 3 sets go hand in hand, then came the cabin and while that was a fantastic set is was not in the same style and scale as the 3 first. After that it went all over the place with great sets, but not in the same style as the 3 first. It is almost like we got 3 modular buildings and then the next one out was Ninjago City! Personally I would have preferred if they stayed with the style of the 3 first so I have stopped collecting them now, I hope that we will see more expansions to DA in the future so I can start collecting some buildings in the same size that go better together instead
  21. Yes since there is not a licensed set that should be no problem I might take some time before they get them in stock, but if you follow this thread you will know :
  22. We would all love that, but I think 2 is the best we can hope for in a set At least there is B&P so we can make our own flock now, however that will cost us for sure
  23. That is the point, Disney are way to greedy so it affects the pricing of the sets in a bad way The set looks nice to be a SW set since it is not a boring ship as usual.. However I will save my money and use them on HP instead Sorry for the OT
  24. 3187 parts and 350 euro
  25. I had hoped for more than one cervid in the set, but beggars can't be choosers
