Sorry if I did not make myself clear I think the theme is fantastic and they are doing most thing right in my opinion However since it is such a big success they want to make it a evergreen theme. In order to do that they must save minifigs and locations for future years and not give us everything at once. Beauxbaton's Carriage was on target, these are on the side: brickheadz (no minifigs, no locations) advent calendars (minifigs, but mostly variants of ones we have gotten already, no locations, but small builds that fit in with earlier sets) Classroom sets (minifigs, but only variants of ones we have gotten already, locations, but only variants of ones we have gotten already) D2C Hogwarts (unique minifigs, but only ones that would never come in normal sets, location, but only reuse one we have got in a different scale? GWP DA (minifig, but only a variant, location in a different scale) Hedwig and monsters book of monsters (minifig, but only a variant, no location, but a animal or thing in a different scale than normal) Hogwarts Students Acc. Set (minifigs, but mostly variants, no location, but small builds that fit in with earlier sets) Polybags (minifig, but only variants, no location, but small builds that fit in with earlier sets) CMF (minifigs, but a lot of variants, figs we most likely will get in future sets or unique figs that would never come in normal sets, no locations) They can give us for several years: a part of Hogwarts a small build with 2-4 minifigs a house a part of DA a vehicle something they skipped in a previous year Other than that they must find other ways to expand the line without using up unique minifigs and locations

Personally I think it is because thay want to save new characters for future sets. Yes they can give us new variants of old characters, but new ones they will save for when it really counts. Just look at how many variants we have gotten for Cho and Cedric, they are mostly in one film each. While Ginny they saved for a long time even if she is in every film, however now that we got her they start giving us a lot of variations.. Exactly As long as it sells they will keep it going However unlike SW (at least so far) they are instead of remakes making sets that are different. If that is because almost no sets are retired yet remains to be seen With at least 16 sets next year I guess around half must be something else beside the normal sets so they do not use up too many spots.

While other fan-sites use sources they deem more or less trustworthy depending on the site, I have never seen Brickset do that. They normally do not make a news article of it either until they have official news and pictures to show. They just put in the set-numbers and theme until some day they got more info to add. So my guess is that they either get some info from Lego regarding the set numbers or the very least info downloaded from Lego or some other official source like a catalogue.. In any case sounds like @Guyon2002 source was right then

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
Roebuck replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
You will get the shipping for free that way, but pretty sure it will not help you anything on your way to the quota for GWP -
Brickset has listed 15 sets for next year if that has not been mentioned previously 40500 I assume the rumoured art set? 76382-76385 is the classroom sets. 76386- 76395 is the normal summer wave I guess. How do these fit in with the ones you leaked @Guyon2002 (easier to ask you than look your post somewhere in 726 pages )?

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
Roebuck replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
Sorry, but I do not think B&P work on GWP -
They are expensive in Norway as well, so I will wait for a heavy discount before I buy them If they were going to include students from different years anyway I would have prefer they only included Gryffindor students in one set. It is not like Harry is in every set anyway which is their "usual excuse"

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

Sorry to disappoint, but employees at customer service do not know what Jamie is working on. Not many other Lego employees beside other designers for that matter, it is a reason we do not get any leaks before they start making the sets in factories or start promoting them -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Roebuck replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I think he has a lot to say in regards to who designs them since he is the design leader of the team that makes them Marcos Bessa is the design lead on HP, but he still made the Diagon Alley set. So it is possible that Jamie will make more modulars in the future, however that depends on how he likes to run things and if he put aside time to make one -
This is a false alarm There is a GWP coming of a Roman chariot with two horses if you buy the new huge colosseum set between 27-30/11. Not to worry the horses are brick-built! On one hand I think this is a bad decision and it will most likely look better with moulded horses. On the other hand if they for some reason decided to make unique horses for the set it would be a nightmare to get them for those of us more interested in animal moulds than huge architecture sets However I do think Lego should have included two of the white horses that came in HP last year instead of brick-building them

That is a good point If I remember right from the Netflix documentary Kenner that had a fantastic SW toy licence was bough by Hasbro and the deal with Lucas was that they must make SW toys or pay a small fee every year. Since they did nighter they lost the license So maybe Lego and WB has a deal that at least some sets should be made for every film

Ecto-1, minions, wonder woman etc.. While I think it is likely that we get sets from FB1 and/or FB2 if we get sets from FB3 in a wave, it is not so likely that they were planing to give us only sets from 1-2 in connection with film 3 (even if making sets for new films is a hassle with the limited info they get) We will see when film 3 comes out one day, but I am not giving up hope yet that we will see more FB sets in the future
-
Well it is more of a indication I would say, we do not know for sure before the films finally comes out However if they remove sets it is pretty likely they where from FB. On the other hand some sets in other themes do come out even if the film is delayed, so we may end up getting sets especially if they are from the first 2 films
-
I guess Lucius only comes in one of the books since these are not final I hope so, or I have to start buying books and that is a expensive way to just get one fig out of the deal.. Happy to see that they come with a different owl than Hedwig (hopefully we will get some flying owls in other colours next year also )
-
Well most fans would know that he is replaced by the time the next movie comes out. All casual viewers probably would not notice if he has the same look with the crazy eye etc, everybody is calling him by his name and the last movie was 4 years ago if they have seen that, so I think they could pull it off As long as the HP sets are selling like hot cakes, I think they will keep it going regardless of the progress of the FB movies Personally I would like to see more FB sets especially the figs would be great for DA and a decent chance they would include more animal moulds, however I think we only get those the same year as FB films comes out
-
It is possible that they do as they did with Dumbledore, just give the part to a new actor and carry on. I prefer that approach to the one in e.g. matrix where they tell a story that do not make any sense to try and explain the change of appearance
-
It also has printed koi carp on tiles, not exactly a animal mould, but I think they will come in handy

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 21. Rumors and discussion
Roebuck replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Don't we all Depends on if they need to use the CMF budget to make new moulds for the theme. We also got a pirate woman with a new mould for the barracuda bay set. However there is a lot of salt in the murky moat waters containing the castle theme, to me the rumour seems to come from the new logo on a new Legoland-attraction opening -
Nice one, Enya
-
Yes it looks amazing They did that with the turtle also, so maybe Lego have learnt that people want the animals in the CMF series and give us 5 per box instead of 3
