  1. There has been a lot of rain the last couple of weekends, so i have spent some of the time building the D2C Hogwarts and listening to HP books read by Stephen Fry. An excellent combination I must say I am not a fan of micro-scale builds, but I really enjoy building it and it looks great as well
  2. I think the only reason why it got a new number is that it was a retired set, other than that it should be identical to the original
  3. That is possible, but they had Diggory with question mark so I assumed they just looked at the picture and guessed the figs as best they could or maybe fhe figs where not named in the text Oh well we will know for sure soon anyway
  4. It is unfortunate, but likely that the film will get delayed if the pandemic do not end soon (nothing is pointing in that direction), and I guess that they will not give us FB sets unless they are backed by a film No no no, no brick-built animals please at least not those that have a mould maybe niffler treasure hunt class from book 4 could be an alternative
  5. I assume they also got the info from the same type of picture so they can be wrong, however would not be surprised it it is Cho This is just another sign sign that Lego are saving figs for a evergreen theme. Gryffindor in every set is a waste. They could have given us the teacher and two students from her/his house in a set. One we have gotten before and a new one in addition to update the teacher. Cho and Diggory? They are older so makes no sense to include them Looking away from the fact that we are mostly getting old characters, the sets look really good and I hope we are getting a Care of Magical Creatures in the future
  6. OK, better than nothing, but they could have put in the new pig without much cost at least They are still preliminary I guess so still hope
  7. Definitely no Disney tax on that one then, nice to see that not all license owners are as greedy
  8. Sounds great I assume there is some dog-owners among the City designers since the sets include a few of them lately Still no pigeons I guess? There is a tractor coming in City also, you did not see if that had any animals by any chance?
  9. Or that some of the sets are limited so info about them show up much later
  10. I agree that seems odd, since it will take up a spot as a new part in the Lego portfolio. It is not like the normal chihuahua is out of production either. Most themes get a too small budget, but I guess HS had too much since they use it on stuff like that The new Ideas Sesame Street set has at least 2 of the small sparrow mould in white and a yellow rubber duck (waiting for a better picture to see it if is more). To bad it did not come with any pigeons, but hardly no surprise with the ideas budget (they already went overboard with new mould for figs for the first time). I really want a proper pigeon mould to go with the modular buildings etc, one day maybe
  11. Yes, but we could have gotten a pigeon in the CMF or City, they have the budget mussle to pull it of Did not see that one. It is the normal small fish I guess?
  12. I think it will go on as long as it is a bestseller There is still a lot of scenes that are missing from the films as people are mentioning, but also a lot of characters and it seems that lately e.g. the CMF they are giving us variants instead of a lot of new figs (I assume to save them for future sets). In addition to remakes they can also do things like the Hogwarts D2C, the classrooms/art coming next year and Hedwig etc
  13. I would assume that it is impossible to miss a reindeer in a set unless there is an extra bag of parts around the same weight there, if not the box will most likely not pass the weight control.. However I would not be surprised if some dishonest people claim that it is. In addition more normal bricks that are new are probably made in a much larger quantity so it is probably no problem to start selling them on day 1. Animals are at least when you look at the high price must be much more time consuming to make and a lot of people want to buy them so Lego rather wait and see before they put them up for sale I guess
  14. I would say a Gringotts is a safe bet since it never was part of the planning for the DA. I really hope we get other sets from DA, but if the bank is not a add on set (instead is a standalone set in a different scale) I think the chance are a lot lower
  15. Normally they are to deal with all the missing parts around x-mas, but I am unsure if they closed last winter However they are probably closed this year again, so if we are unlucky we must wait until next year before we can buy it there
  16. I found this round amusing A lot of people have been worried that too many sets get sent to review and then from the biggest round so far only one get selected I was pretty sure the globe would make it, but was surprised that not anyone else did it.. However I did not have any sets I was really cheering for this round anyway
  17. He also told me that new parts can not be sold in the beginning because they need them to give out to people who are missing them in sets. So it may take longer than a month before it is possible to buy them, but maybe that has something to do with how many parts they have in stock and how many that claims they are missing I guess
  18. I just called and they will get them in stock in the end of October..
  19. Thanks! That was a short notice, but for me it is 06:00AM today according to the link and that sounds unlikely since that was several hours ago.. I assume it is 1-2 hours
  20. Today? One hour? Source
  21. OK, then wonder how long we will have to wait for news the next year I assume we will get some info before the sets are in shops anyway, we already gotten a detailed description about several January sets so
  22. The toy fairs have been giving us less info every year now, so it is not so big a deal as it would have been some year ago I would say. However we got a decent amount of info from the German fair last year.. Maybe Lego will do some kind of online presentation for the shops, or they will have to order sets from names and prices only
  23. Do not know, but it should turn up soon Maybe it is a GWP with the next modular, would make most sense..
  24. I think it could be a reasonable strategy from Lego to release Gringotts and another DA shop next year if they are planning to make add on sets to the D2C. It is better to get the first ones out soon after the release of the D2C to make people aware that this is a new collectible series of sets that go together. The modulars and Hogwarts both had 2 sets the first year, maybe to get more people to collect it from the start. The DA is and Gringotts would probably be in the more expensive end of the potential series so a cheaper set would make sense so more people can start collecting right away before they start save up for the biggest sets.. However unless we get some more reliable rumors I do not expect we will get them in January
  25. I do that when I can, but it is impossible to buy something that do not exists A set like that would most likely come with one or several new animal moulds if it was under a different theme e.g. city
