  1. Wow, nice.......... do you have a bigger picture from the red Hot Rod?
  2. Ok, if somebody is interested, here´s the LDD file, that was my first try to construct in LDD (In 3-4 weeks i hope to know all about LDD to construct perfectly). I think it´s complete all, but without the IR and PF components. https://www.dropbox.... Crawler V2.lxf P.S. I can´t connect the shocks but i don´t know why....... at the moment.
  3. Hello, here is my update, V2 of my crawler. Now I have finished the two LSD front and rear axles and also changed the main gear (more speed). Now i use o-rings for the LSD, it´s easier to buy as the Lego rubber bands and much more cheaper (o-ring 27mm x 1mm and 30mm x 1mm) I have spend him a second XL motor and now he is faster but has the same power like before. Further with the second XL motor the weight is now exactly in the middle of the car. The new GMADE crawler tires have a good look and also high grip and fit perfect on the original rims, the grip is many times better than the original LEGO tires. But look yourself.
  4. Yes, the first LSD is implement in my new crawler............ it´s great! The next days i want to build the 2nd gear and then i send the pics........... The new tires are also a really good choice for the crawler.... But wait a little, next days i´ll be update all.
  5. @Kumbbl, wow, that is a really good price for the 9398!!!! Congratulation. The cheapest i´ve found (and buyed) was 111€.
  6. Last week on E Bay two times 8297 (great parts to use) 54€ and 56€ + 4,90€ delivery but without manual and box and one 42000 for 68€ include delivery. Today one 42008 for 81,99€ include delivery. Now i´ve to stop buying for the moment, i think i have enough parts now...........
  7. Small update. My collection is growing a little, see the pictures. Now i have decided to build A&B modells if possible.
  8. Yeah......... now it´s working But that was not the reality, i have to change the standard axle 4 in the differential to an axle 4 with stop........ that´s all And i have to change the angles of the axles to 7,81 degree and all gears are OK. What a horrible work..... you can´t find anything about this in the helpdesk of LDD Further i have to change the steering to 12 teeth gear, but it´s annoying LDD don´t accept my 16 teeth gear. It´s ok now and i can construct the complete car.................... LDD file: https://www.dropbox.... housing V2.lxf
  9. It´s impossible........ if i remove the portal axle the gears are ok and i can adapt it. But then i can´t put the portal axle on it´s place. If i remove then the 12T gear i can use the portal axle without problems......... sorry i don´t understand this. And if i use this gear it was no problem also........... hmmmmmm P.S. The crazy thing is the gears collide but i can still use it........!!!
  10. Hi, now i´ve created an LDD file of the LSD housing, LDD is a cool program and very easy to use. But i was not able to insert the right gears inside and i don´t know why........ How ever, if anyone want to use it here is the DL link: https://www.dropbox....LSD housing.lxf P.S. The housing is created for servo motor.
  11. Wow, really nice and very fast But the lifetime of the parts at that speed is not really long, or? There are no bearings and plastic on plastic........ short lifetime i think.
  12. Thanks, yes i think it´s ackermann, there are different angles at the outer and inner wheels if you´re steering. But ackermann is not really need at Lego, there is so many backlash in the parts........
  13. Great vehicle and cool idea I think I´ll build one of them in the future, but the 6x6 version is enough......... need double wheels 12 pcs. And then i test it in my garden pond
  14. I put the dirty parts in a pillow case with zipper and then in the washing machine. I use the wool program 30 degrease with soap. After that i put the pillow case with the legos in the dryer, but not to hot! Then the parts are like new condition.
  15. Hi all, now i´ve used the 9398 of my daughter to test the LSD inside (in the moment only one LSD at the rear axle). But unfortunatly i must build the axle 10mm more track width but it looks also good. To show that it works i´ve removed the transmission gears of the right wheels, front and rear (look at the pictures and the small video). Unfortunatly i have to wait for parts i´ve not enough parts to change the 2nd axle. Further i want to build it to switch on and off (on 50-60% / on 100% lock / off). But to construct it to switch is not really easy, i want to have a small solution! No transmission to the wheels (right side) Transmission only the left side. Video: http://www.vidup.de/v/S4lMl/ But unfortunatly you must turn your head to the left........ i´ve filmed with my smartphone
  16. This car is really cool, really different to all other MOCs or crawlers..... P.S. Next year, 2014 Jan i´ll stay one week in Las Vegas (sales meeting ) i hope to find some shops there they sell Lego for a good price, i´ve heard the parts are much cheaper than in europe. And i NEED many PARTS...... lol
  17. I´ve build the B-model of the 8420 the chopper looks great i think and very large. Nice to collect, now i have the streetbike and one chopper.
  18. OMG, i don´t want to know how expensive these components are............. but really nice
  19. There are nice parts inside but the price is not really justified! For me this is only disposal and they hope to find someone to pay 750$.........
  20. Yesterday: 1x 8297 (35€) 2x 8420 (21€ / 23,22€) great...... now i have four pieces of the yellow shock absorbers 48912 (two bikes are for my collection) 70x Black bushing for only (1,81€ great for realistic building )
  21. The slip of the rubber band is OK (i think a limited slip of around 40-50%), if i use the portal axle (92908) the LSD is much more stronger because there is a gear inside 2-3:1. But i can say it sure after the tests with the first car (hope at the weekend with my 9398).
  22. Wow, i saw the video of the "Ball Factory Ver.2" really great and nice to look if it´s working.
  23. @TwentyLeggedHen, yes that´s the way it is working, but not really a lock of 100% the rubber bands have slip and so the diff is working also. Now i´m working on a way to implement it in the 9398 with the original gear this is not really difficult. I have to change some fixing points and to go a little outside with the gear than it´s possible to realise. The next days i post a picture here.
  24. Ok, it´s working good but what is the sense of this?
