  1. 2015 wave is a solid choice.
  2. I’d be curious to know what you’d consider a better wave. I’m not trying to be petty, I’m genuinely curious.
  3. I don’t think you’re wrong. I think the ears on the old cowl are right but I hate the chinstrap on it so much. It makes the cowl look so much bulkier/boxy. I’m changing the cowl immediately when I grab the new sets.
  4. I think a lot of people would be saying this is one of the best DC waves we’ve ever gotten if Lego would’ve given us a different head and a more accurate mold for Battinson’s cowl.
  5. Oooooo the Phantasm. Good choice.
  6. Kyle Rayner, Alan Scott, Orion (with his astro-harness), Adam Strange, Kid Flash (or Wally West in his New 52 Flash suit).
  7. Loved all this. Please let me know what you end up doing with the hood for the Batmobile. I also planning on doing some modifications, especially to the front of it.
  8. While I agree with you, it’s not as nearly as iconic as the previous incarnations of the Batmobile, I’ve read a lot of praise for the Batmobile in The Batman from test screening viewers. I think we’ll just have to wait and see what it looks like and does on the big screen.
  9. Arkham Knight Batmobile in the Joker Trike set? That’s a bit of a stretch. Have to disagree here. I really dislike the 6 studded sized vehicles. The one seat looks ridiculous and the sizing looks less like the source material. I think if they would’ve gone with 6 studs we would’ve gotten another vehicle that looks like Robbie Reyes/Ghost Rider’s Charger.
  10. And yet we still don’t have the JP Ford Explorer in Lego form. Makes sense. That is quite a bit of themes to be collecting. The Harry Potter theme has been very tempting for me but I have most of the 2012 wave and can’t justify owning another Hogwarts Castle, Diagon Alley, etc. (even though they look way better in the more present waves). I’ve had to keep myself grounded in the Marvel/DC themes. Anyways, sorry for going off topic, really liking the Batman minifig with the dual molded legs. Just wish there was a new cowl. Edit: Oops, just noticed that the legs aren’t dual molded. Just printing on the front. Looks good, though.
  11. Just curious, what’s going to make 2022 expensive for you?
  12. Was about to say the same. Says, Pre-order this item today, it will ship from November 1, 2021 Looks like the US is getting the DC sets early while Europe got the Marvel sets early. Fair trade.
  13. My thoughts exactly. The box art looks horrible. The Batmobile actually looks really great in the additional images. Love that it’s eight studs wide. I’m so friggin sick of this cowl. I couldn’t agree more. I personally think the short horned cowl looks much better for Battinson. I probably go with that one. I don’t think these sets are bad but I’m not in love. I’m sure the Batmobile will continue to grow on me and looks like it’ll be easy to tweak and customize. I don’t hate the cycle chase set but it’s really an unnecessary set if you’re getting the batcave.
  14. I HATE Guy Gardner but I agree with you. He’s got a huge fanbase. Anybody have Phoenix Customs Night Crusader?
  15. I'd love a Batmobile from B:TAS but I also wouldn't mind if Klarion was a tie-in to Young Justice. Young Justice would also be cool in the Lego form.
  16. Don't forget the 66 batcave, either. It's one of my favs!
  17. Finally a more mature batcave set! You can bet your a$$ it's gonna have a prison cell for the Riddler.
  18. I agree, it was pretty obvious. I could've seen the $69.99 set being something different maybe but the batcave seemed like the obvious choose. I'm really looking forward to the batmobile. Hope it looks great.
  19. Yeah, looks like most people's guesses were accurate. For those who haven't seen yet: The Batman (2022) set list: 76179: Bike Chase: $14.99 76181 Batmobile: $39.99 76183 Batcave: $69.99 Names of sets aren't 100% official.
  20. I'm not saying there's a "problem". I'm just saying that bat vehicles tend to be poorly accepted among the adult fan community because that community would prefer Blue Beetle's Bug, the Hall of Justice or even the Flash's cosmic treadmill over another bat vehicle. And I'm not saying I wouldn't agree with them, all of those would be great (even a cosmic treadmill), but the "made-up" bat vehicles are designed for the younger fans. My six year old son has no desire to get the 66 Batmobile or Tumbler but he's still crazy about his Mobile Bat Base and Scuttler sets. I just think we tend to forget sometimes that Lego is designed for people of all ages to play with, especially the DC/Batman theme.
  21. I see your point but I haven't minded the most recent models. I think the armored bat vehicle in 76159 is a great design and my boy has spent endless hours playing with the Mobile Bat Base - 76160. While I'd love to see more Justice League sets, I don't mind the continuous iterations of batwings, batmobiles, batcopters and batboats. I understand their purpose and my boy loves them.
  22. You’re probably right. Most of us are hardcore fans on here but I’ve also seen plenty of “oh no, not another bat vehicle” on here, too.
  23. I'd be down if they used the same design for B:TAS Joker that they used in the DC Super Villains DLC: I don't mind the focus of next year being on The Batman, though. I'm really looking forward to that movie. I'm probably one of the very few that doesn't mind another iteration of the Batmobile in Lego form.
  24. Ah man, no Bunsen and Beaker? It will be really hard to narrow down the lineup of so many fantastic character to only 12. I hope it’s more but I know that’s a slim change.
