I would've much rather had this set at $60 with exclusion of Nick Fury, Pepper Potts and maybe even Tony Stark. I think that would be a fair trade for a fair price. As far as the changing of helmets, I'm used it. As others have mentioned already, it's happened many times with the stormtroopers and clone troopers. It's also happened to Batman (not enough times imo). It is what it is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I agree with mostly everything you've said but I've gotta say I actually like the idea of new helmet molds in my Iron Man collection. There are a lot of unique Iron Man suits in the MCU that have different designed helmets and I think this new mold will be an excellent addition to show that, sitting next to the version 1 and version 2 helmets.

I was about to say the exact same thing. I think the minifigs look great. Love the new helmet mold but yeah, why change the build from the other armoury sets? That's a big bummer for me. Was really hoping I could just add this set next to the other armouries but it seems like I'll need to gather a few pieces from bricklink.

Just curious, which local retailer did you get it from? I hope my local Target carries it.

Agree 100%. I would usually prefer the moulded t-rex but after building this one it looks so good! PS Can't wait to get the Tallneck!

Just opened up Goat Boat set and it’s great! Only thing I wish we would’ve seen with this set is printed arms for Jane Foster Thor. I think it’s very needed. Really hope Firestar Toys gives us some.

How often do people check falcon's Instagram? I'm located in the US Mountain Time. I wake every morning and immediately check falcon's account for updates on Marvel sets. Hope we get some more info soon!

Unfortunately (from a toy collecting standpoint), Warner Bros/DC has gone the mature route with their movies so that might be another reason why we're not seeing as many Lego DC sets. After I saw The Batman, I was honestly very surprised we got sets from that movie but I don't think many people realized how dark it was actually going to be until it came out. I know we'll never get sets based off of the recent Suicide Squad movie but I'd love to see some sets with the Suicide Squad characters in comic book form. I'd really like to get my hands on Bloodsport and Kingshark minifigs and I'm kicking myself for not getting the Polkadot Man minifig on BL before the price skyrocketed.

While I think it's an improvement, I still don't care for Lego's design of Stormbreaker. I've seen much better designs. I hope you're right. I would really like to see Thor's new helmet.

Nope. Same sword used for Aragorn and other characters in the LotR sets. Honestly, don’t mind Gorr. Jane Thor, Valkyrie, Korg and the build easily make up for it being one of the best sets of 2022!

I’m still not convinced we’re gonna get a helmet for LaT Thor. Hope we do. I friggin love his new suit. Love the Walt Simonson inspiration (one of my fav Thor runs). Really hoping we get his helmet in the bigger set. 🤞

I don’t think they’ve done away completely with the skirt piece because it appears in CMFs but I can see why it’s not used often. It interferes with the playability of the figure. You can’t properly seat the minifig, put the minifig in vehicles, etc.. I prefer printing than an actual piece for that reason. As for the Jane minifig, I think it looks great! The Black Widow head can easily be swapped so that’s not a problem for me. I think she’d look much better with dual molded or printed arms so I’ll probably use CMF Scarlet Witch’s arms or find some light nougat/brown dual molded arms.

Dude, I was thinking the same thing! Hahaha I remember the same day that these rumors came out, somebody else and myself were fantasizing about a set with Doctor Fate, Zatanna, Black Adam, etc. on here. I really wonder if the rumor started from that conversation. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a bum deal but it’s still pretty hilarious. Shame on us for thinking Lego would even consider making a set like this. Hasn’t happened since 2015.

Looks great! I personally don't think it's better than all the rest "by a long shot" but it's great. Batman: The Animated Series would've been more desirable for me but Jim Lee is one of the best Batman artists out there. I don't love the tall portrait of Batman. I think the pose looks awkward. They did much better with the long portrait of Iron Man. Looks like it'll be a big hit for the Batman fans.

I could honestly see them doing a nose. The na'vi have catlike features and catlike minifigures that have been released with noses in the past (CMF Lion from Wizard of Oz, CMF Cat Costume Girl). Anything's possible, though. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'd attempt to mod it if I owned it but I'm probably never going to own it unless I get it for free as well lol
