No, Garmadon is now "Sensei" because he is no longer "lord Garmadon". He probably ditched that title because it was somewhat an indicator of the evil inside him. Perhaps Wu had something similar to Cyrus Borg happen to him. Or maybe Sensei was kidnapped and the Nindroids replaced him with a robot version. We'll just have to wait for the new season of NINJAGO to come out.

*GASP* The Falcon! :D This is BRILLIANT news for me. I love the design of the Ninjacopter. Air Breaks is... meh. I'll pick it up as an army builder and for Cole's Tech Blade. The dragon could be... better, I suppose. Maybe less studs exposed. Then again, my fault for expecting something else!

Wait, you have access to them as you wish? I'm not asking for pics, unless they don't have the watermark or you're not sworn to secrecy or whatever. Anyway, back (more or less) on topic, I like the design of the Ninjacopter. It seems like a VTOL except the rotors are attached directly to the sides of the "copter"

I wouldn't mind if that was the case, even if I rarely ever see Retailer exclusives in this country. One less set to focus on :P

Not exactly. Zane may be a nindroid, but he is still very unique. He had to go through training with the other ninja, he has to eat, etc. Not to mention he spent some 10-30 years with Dr Julien learning "how to be human". And then there's the matter of his powers, and other things. Still, I think some people will be glad to hear of Nya becoming one of the ninja. As good as that would be, I am unsure of how it would work, exactly. Nya said that she was content with being a Samurai, and while Ice is one of her "main" elements she certainly would not fit as the new ninja of ice. Guess we have some things to look forward to?

Interesting. Something tells me Zane is going to do a "sacrifice to save everyone" next year. Judging by some of the descriptions I'd say Lloyd loses his powers or the Nindroids are made of the substance elemental powers cannot harm. Whatever the Serpentine Fortress was made of, at least.

Well, I don't think Cole had the ability to levitate (it was never shown, at least). Jay could both fly and levitate, Kai could fly and Zane could levitate. But anyway, there was probably too much stress on them in the moment for them to be used regardless. Speaking of Episode 24, I did find Garmadon's speech to Misako rather amusing. "Being evil these days is really unappreciated!" -
There are many plot-holes in NINJAGO, unfortunately, due to lack of foresight. Like for instance, Lloyd's memory of the Megaweapon erased even though everyone else (including Skales) seems to remember it. Perhaps this would be better to discuss in the TV show thread?

Well, the Elemental Weapons are very different to the Golden Weapons. Though they are said to be more powerful (or interpreted to be, as they contain pure elemental powers), when "combined" they don't create a shockwave like the Golden Weapons did. The idea though, of the ninja not being able to use their NRG forms without their weapons because they did not have elemental powers is probably wrong. Cole was able to unlock his NRG form when he was not able to use the Scythe, and Jay was able to use his NRG form without the Nunchucks. Perhaps the Weapons have a sense of "ownership"? Whoever "owns" the Weapon/s has control over NRG forms. Thus, when Garmadon stole the Weapons after the Devourer was destroyed they belonged to him and not to the ninja. But my theory is almost completely unfounded, so it is as unlikely as the former. I don't think the ninja ever had a real reason to use the NRG forms on the Dark Island anyway. Their powers, yes, but not their NRG forms. It was said by Sensei Wu that they had to focus in order to use their (elemental) vehicles? Then maybe a similar thing is happening. Or, maybe they all just got another issue and could not be at peace with themselves -
Before anyone gets concerned, keep in mind that's from the Australia Club Magazine. Not the America one, so "summer" means a launch in December/January. Which isn't too far fetched, considering the TV show coming back (allegedly) later this year. EDIT: Honestly, I love that NINJAGO is stealing Cheema's limelight right now. I never liked Chima to begin with (then again, never really liked NINJAGO at first )

Well, if you want gender equality you should have seen LEGO Universe. Doesn't count as an action theme, but effectively it fits every role and action theme required. One of the leaders of the Nexus Force (Vanda Darkflame) was a girl, and quite a few other characters were too. You had Melodie Foxtrot, Sky Lane, Coalessa... and a heap of female vendors. That's just a handful of them. There was Peppermint Lane, etc. Heck, three of the four main Moderators for the game were female. But anyway, I think NINJAGO has done a (decent) role in terms of female characters. Misako was independent, but while Nya was pure awesome at times they played the Damsel in Distress role twice, and that twice too many times for most people. But I think Chima is a worse offender, they're only in the background and do squat other than serve as filler roles. I don't think that other than Eris any of them have had proper dialogue and have contributed to the story in any meaningful way.

Yeah, I wonder what happened to it. But I'm also wondering what happened to the Tornado of Creation. I mean, after the Devourer destroyed the Destiny's Bounty, they could have easily recreated it using the Tornado. They could have also fixed the Raider with one, and pretty much well repaired NINJAGO city in no time. And again, in the Last Voyage they could have used it. Heck, they could have used it on the Celestial Clock to destroy it. And on Garmatron. And on the Overlord. And on the Destiny's Bounty, again. And they also could have built more flying vehicles to get off the Dark Island. But anyway, it makes no sense why Nya didn't bring her Mech with her. Probably due to fuel and space constraints on the Bounty. If it flew, it would use too much fuel by the time they got to the Dark Island. If they stored it on the Bounty, well, where? In The Stone Army and The Day NINJAGO Stood Still there was no room for the Mech. Nya was not at the museum at the time, and she was flying the Bounty in the latter. -
Considering the Wolves and Laval were both fooled by the fake Shadow-wind dude or whatever his name is, I wouldn't be surprised if they were pieces of cardboard painted blue.

No, we've rarely ever gotten HD images without watermarks this early. Prelims, yes, but HD (semi?) finalized ones, no. And this was an accidental release, not a leak or something from LEGO's own servers. You raise a fair point, but it still doesn't feel right.

Still... it's odd enough though. A retailer leaks high-quality pictures three months earlier than they should, and they don't even feature the whole line. People have already gotten their hands on the sets, someone has General Cryptor and someone else managed to get Lloyd somehow. Even if they are finalized, this is still incredibly strange.

Well, I didn't say it was evidence. I just said that I honestly don't think these are final. This isn't like LEGO, in the past we'd only just be getting prelims. And even then, you know how touchy they've gotten about them. I mean why take finalized photos this early? And why didn't the other set's pictures surface too? If KMart officials were given the go-ahead for three, why not them all? This reeks of something, and I'm not sure what. Also, Cyrus is a regular Minifig. He has legs, but he also has a "spider hardsuit" if you'd call it that.

Exactly what I was thinking. It also makes no sense, given that you would never see a mini-ramp like that in an actual city, unless it was a speed bump (and even THEN). I honestly think these aren't the final versions. Why they would take high-quality pictures refutes this idea, but why take the high-quality pictures before October anyway? HQ stuff usually comes out in November or December.

KMart has taken down the product pages. OverBorg now leads to the Golden Dragon, Thunder Raider to the Ultra Sonic Raider and Kai Fighter to... a "product removed" page. No, there have been rumours circulating about a purple ninja. And I didn't even know pawcanada had posted that when I wrote that XD Anyway, in some leaked episode lists it mentions the purple ninja and "the fall of Samurai X". But we also know thus far that Zane will not be purple. The posters shown, and the box art, say that he'll remain white. But I guess we'll just have to wait (until after the test ((Half-Life joke, just so no one is confused :P)) )
