I finally got my Burrow this week. And finished it half an hour ago. What a lovely set! With a lot of detail in it. They put a lot of extra's in this set :) My only concern is the dark red 2x3 sloped brick. I think the holes on the bottom of the bricks (don't know the common name for that) are a bit shifted. This means that it has some (~1/3mm) space left on one side and the same space short on the other side. So it doesn't stay on the studs of the layer underneath it (like a plate), when you place them aside other bricks, not even with a lot of pressure. I should take a picture, that explains more than these words... Are there more people with this problem? I'm thinking of sending TLG a mail. But, that given, a great set!

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 4 discussion
kciR replied to legokuate's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Wow, they're just awesome! Definitely the best Series of all for me. I want them all, except a few. Maybe I'll go for the whole set nevertheless. Best of all, the hairpiece of the soccer dude in this color! -
This week I wanted to buy this set. I found it in a shop for only €55. But to my despite it was sold out (it was sold out in many shops actually, I thinks it's because of Sinterklaas (a Dutch thing)). They said to get a restock next week, so I probably buy it next week :) I'm thinking of MOCing or heavily MODing it, into a Burrow that has all the rooms and storeys like the books. But I will need quite a lot of time and Legos for that to do it good. So first just the normal set!

TLG is releasing next year a game called 'Shave a sheep' with brick build sheeps in it, maybe you can have a look at them. But I think they are not the best, although the head looks great!

To my despite I can't be there this year. Are there already pictures from this year's Legoworld? I'm curious to see the shown creations!

Minifg collectors series 2 pics and barcodes
kciR replied to Superkalle's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I got to a local toy shop last thursday in The Hague and it was full of minifigs, they still had like 3 boxes of series 1 and 6 of series 2. I didn't have my barcodes with me that time, so I've to come back. But I think I can found my missing figs in there. There was a little boy picking two packs randomly and hoping for the figs he wanted. I was thinking about telling the barcode trick, but didn't do it.. His parents were already grumpy ;) And I don't think they want to take the time to compare barcodes. -
In my mailbox just dropped the new Intertoys book/ folder. The first Lego page says: Sign up for the Lego Club and get a free Max minifig. So, all you dutchies, run to Intertoys ;) (op=op) Is must me possible to get two Club memberships on one adress.. (oh, and if it's in the wrong forum or doesn't need a new topic, (re)move it please)

I guess it's unkown, because it ain't Lego at all.. It's just a copy. Edit: It's even in the discription: "The item itself is NOT lego, but FULLY compatiable with lego blocks"

That's an excellent micro model! Just as the rest of your mini collection!

I used the Unofficial Lego builder's guide as a reference. You should check chapter 4, it's full of miniland scaled stuff. That's a good base to start with and than you can give it your own twist.

Sorry, as you can see I'm quite new here posting stuff ;) But I think you're right, it's better here.

Thanks all :) I think you only need to know with pieces are the cannonballs. It's the black lever piece. The globe where you normally would put the minifigs hands are the cannonballs, the other side is inside the red brick (with headlight). The cannon (1/2 pin) slides over the lever, a last round 1x1 knob on the end. And there you go! And for the gate I used this piece:

Thanks both :) In Dutch it's called a 'fok' if I'm right. The sail stays quite good in it's place, but I agree with you now that it needs an pole (or how to call it..) I might change it.

Last summer I went to Danmark with my girl on holiday, and of course I visited Legoland. After seeing all those miniland scaled towns I couldn't resist myself to get my old lego's back from the attic and to build a figure. I had a great time making it, it was a good Legoland-after party! Here is my (not so) little guy with an caged songbird. And the back of it. The backpack explains the black lego's on the front ;) Maybe I will make more miniland scaled figures in the future, dispite I don't have that much brown pieces to make hair (90% of my Lego's are from the 90's). The only tan pieces I own are a big load of 2x4 bricks, so I have to make the skin yellow. With yellow skin, you can't see yellow hair either.. So I'm quite limited on variation.

This is one of my fist MOC's I made, after going to Legoland Billund last summer and stepping out of the 'grey' ages (the weren't so dark after all..). I made this one along with a miniland scaled figure and some town stuff. But nevermind, I really wanted a Pirate ship when I was a kid, but never got it though.. So now came the time to build it! But as I just took my old lego's from the attic, I didn't had those prefab hulls, so I decided to maken it microscale. After finishing the ship I found an old Imperial flag and decided to add some action to the scene by adding and Imperial post with a small harbor. Here are some pictures of how it turned out: The Pirates are attacking the Imperials! Close-up from the Imperial post. 'Fire the cannons!' Imperial post Overlook Pirate ship Side Back Last photo I especially like the cannons on the Imperial post (but maybe someone made microcannons before, on the same way as I did). Let me know what you think of it..

LEGO Collectable Minifigures General Discussion
kciR replied to Nabii's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I went to Legoland Billund last Monday on my Summer holiday to Danmark. I picked up two random minifigs from the second wave (I wish I had the barcodes at that time). I got the police dude (with extra handcuffs) and the surfer dude. I love him. The rest will I pick up when it hits the stores here. -
Looks really nice! Those vuvuzelas are sweet, their sound is horrible though! I got those dutch players too (with decals). Like 8 years ago, you could buy them at Shell, with other Lego football products. Nice line :) And cheers for the victory
