  1. Thanks again. Here are a few more shots. Yeah, we're going to war. The King... ...and his army. On top of the arc is the army most vicious warrior. He kept the double swords of an enemy slain by him. Other angles. After the fight the warriors came back and had a few hours to relax. They eat, talk and laugh. And if all of this gets boring, there is still the persian slave girl left At the end a little bonus picture of the King. Enjoy.
  2. Great MOC 74louloute. The setup looks very good. I like the details (vulture, cowskull) and the use of the new minifig parts. Man, do I love the new female hairpiece of the singer.
  3. Thank you for your comments. I replaced the faces of the warriors and put them in another order. I'm very happy with it. I will post a few new pics at the weekend. These guys are amazing.
  4. Gruesome. I like it Nice variety of parts, Skalldyr. Would be very useful if official.
  5. Wow. Very nice. I like the shattered window and the clock. The classroom is fantastic. The details on the street are also great ("what a dog had left" is pretty good).
  6. Great review, Jammiedodger714. Since this review I never noticed the book in this set. One point more to buy two of it. I like the new Dobby head. He looks pretty accurate. Harry and Lucious are also great minifigs. Looking forward to the other sets.
  7. This looks really good. I like the use of the baseplate. Really nice
  8. I don't want to hijack another ones thread, so I make my own. Here are two pics of my Hoplite Army. First one is a quick and dirty Photoshop composition. The second one is unaltered. Enjoy.
  9. Here's a quick MOC. Watched a documentary about sharks yesterday, so you know where my inspiration come from. I used all my trans-blue bricks for this. Surfer Dude was out for a giant wave, Sharkey for a tasty meal. Looks like both got what they wanted
  10. Great Tower, Dan Church. The Design is very cool. I like the shore and the roadsign. It's brilliant.
  11. Lord of the Rings would be cool with almost endless possibilities. Another nice theme would be James Camerons Avatar. Great vehicles and awesome creatures, even some playsets could be possible. Some other ideas, but very very unlikley, would be sets based on Firefly/Serenity and Buffy/Angel. The first one would only consist of vehicles. The second one only playsets with a few exceptions (Spikes Car, Oz's Van). I would buy the sets immediately
  12. Voted for Aqua Raiders (2007) The ships are fantastic in my opinion. Very good designs. On the animal front I think the Tigershark is one of the best brickbuild creatures Lego ever released. Great Theme and sets.
  13. Wow, this looks really great, lightningtiger. The front is wonderful and I really like the counter.
  14. The new one. I like the size of it and the fact that it can devour a minifig is a big plus for me.
  15. Great review. Finished my Series 2 Collection today I really love the new hairpieces in this series. The singers hair is beautiful. The other accessories are great, too. One of the best ideas Lego ever had. Now I'm going to hunt down the extras I need.
  16. Thank you guys. It's an original build. No real base, only inspirations. I toy around with the baseplates alot, see what you can do with them. With th release of Minifig Series 2 there will be many more to use. For the Dust: I noticed it to late (don't know why). The post was finished, preview and then I saw it. Sorry for that, I will improve this situation for my next pictures. Thanks for the advice.
  17. Thank you guys. The black parts are the ones which bother me too. In the front section they will be removed soon. I think the fins will stay that colour. At the moment I don't know what to do with the ship-hull in the back. I like the shape of it, but didn't find any parts in a matching colour.
  18. Thank you guys. It's good to hear that you like the layout of the MOC and the shots.
  19. Thanks for the good advice. I will try something different with it. You're right it's more a glider than a jetpack. And some details won't hurt either . I'll post picks when it is improved. Once again, thanks for the advice guys.
  20. Name: Dino Buggy Chaser Number: 7295 Theme: Dino 2010 Year: 2005 Pieces: 83 Minifigs: 1 Price: bought it on EBay, I think the original price was about 15€ Brickset peeron Like I said before, I bought this set on EBay awhile ago. It's the european version, so no guns with the sets. Maybe you can talk the dinos to sleep I like the Dinosaur for what it is, a big Action Figure. I'm still looking for the Big T-Rex for a good price, didn't find anything yet. On the other side, the Lego side, the Dinosaur is ridiculous. His looks just don't fit the Lego world. As a stand-alone figure it is pretty nice, in combination with Lego it's So the vehicle should be great you think? Let's see some pictures. The Instructions I didn't get the Box from Ebay, so there is only the instructions with the same CGI'ed picture And a random page. At the end of the instructions is an advert page of all the other Dino 2010 sets. Looks pretty cool. Now the set. First the Dinosaur. Love it or hate it. The Minifigure The real winner in this set. He looks great. Nice Torso, fantastic camouflaged face. Fantastic figure. The rope In europe you get instead of guns some other "useful" accessory like cages or in this case a rope with two hooks. Judge for yourself what is better to have in front of an hungry dinosaur The Buggy Easy and quick build. Nothing special. Front Side Back Steering wheel Engine I really like this part of the buggy. The Driver and his ride. Complete Set Bonus: How to catch a dinosaur. Rating Set 6/10 If you will start a collection of this theme it is a good start. The Buggy could be a little big for a town layout but the look would fit. The dinosaur is nicely articulated but won't stay on studs for a long time. He looks cool but is not Lego anymore. Playability 7/10 Vehicle vs. Dinosaur. No defense. Sounds limited but there is still some playability left. Parts 5/10 Nothing special, besides the rope in my opinion. Minifig 9/10 The Minifig is just great. Build 5/10 Quick and easy. No special techniques or difficult sections. Price 10/10 (Ebay price I paid) 7/10 (original) There are only a few parts so the price could be a letdown. The cheaper you can get it the better it is. Overall 6/10 If you're interested in this theme it's an OK set. For anybody else it is pretty weak. The build is nothing special, the same for the parts and the dinosaur only appeal to a few.
  21. Great Review. Picked up six random packs yesterday. I was lucky and got the Hoplite. It's a cool figure. I like his face and the helmet is fantastic. I try to hunt down some more (next time with the barcodes).
  22. One and a half year ago I build a small fighter. I liked it very much and kept it. Over the month I added parts, redesigned some sections and took some other parts away. Since December I didn't alter anything on this ship, just adding a new pilot. I'm very happy with it. Some parts may change soon, but overall it's finished. It's not based on a particular ship from Star Wars but I think it would fit well. I also display it with my other SW Models (and to mention the pilot again, he is definitely SW ) It's a small fighter, which has seen a lot of custom work from his different owners. And that's why they call it "The Fox"
  23. Another output while watching TV. I used a lot of the collectible Minifig baseplates and some other random parts I found near me A small light armored troop transport, mainly used in bases. It carries the troops around, bringing them to ships, quarters or briefing rooms. Sometimes used in urban war zones, to pick up wounded soldiers. (Sorry for the dust)
  24. A little winged jetpack for all kind of Space Heroes.
  25. One of a small scene I put together quickly while watching TV. Nothing really special, but it was fun. Enjoy. closer, with additional leaves A bad composition with the real world
