Interesting. It's not the most brilliant set for most, but a cheap set's a good set... Yay, first plumes! I'm not much of a castle collector (I just get a few here and there) so I'll finally get the chance to have a few plumes.

I'm a beta tester. Haven't really got much chance of playing often, due to time zones. I only go on Sundays (Australian time) and very rarely Fridays and Mondays.

I saw the film recently (about a week ago), and it looks fairly right compared to what I remember. The torso's shape could be improved, I think. The head could be, too, but I can't think of how. The talisman would've been interesting brick-built, but a key still works.

Wasn't it the second World War? I'm not sure, I don't follow the movies. Either way, it looks great. I wish a tank was released at some point, whether it is a licensed set or not.

Ultimate Collectors Scale All Terrain Armoured Transport

Wow, that looks great. I don't think I would be able to fully comprehend the size of this unless I see it in real life. -
Hmm. I guess I should've expected it to happen sometime, although I thought the skin would have come sooner. I'll get used to it eventually...
-
Yay, I'm right! It does sort of seem like a waste, but it's nice to have extra stuff. Especially two extra clone commander pistols!

Wow, that was quick... I've pretty much established that I will get this set, no matter the price. It's too bad about the stickers... I really need this set, as I haven't got any of the previous ones, and I don't want to put the stickers on incorrectly... EDIT: I just noticed that, too! I can't remember exactly, but I'm pretty sure the clone stuff was all in the same bag. I guess they just threw them in because the rangefinder was used on Boba. It's a bit too bad that they're grey, though. I prefer the black versions.

Hmm, I feel like I've taken this survey before, or something similar. Anyway, done. I like the "no stickers" option. Bit strange with the part asking about what we do online, though...

Yes, there is, although the focus is on the vehicle, not the ray. Besides, I don't think it's big enough to be a guardian (I'm fairly sure rays do grow that large). I never thought that the tail's prongs were far apart for a reason. The distance between them looked a bit absurd to me, but now it makes total sense after you pointed out it would avoid striking itself with its tail.

Oh, brilliant! Not only does the pizza truck include three minifigs I really, really want, it contains pizzas! If there really are six, this is great! I know it's not much to be excited about, but I have never gotten any pizzas before, and now I'll have a stack of them! What I need now is to have a cheap price placed on the garbage truck set, and I will be ecstatic. And, of course, I'll need to find the sets when they are released first...

Notice how there are already guardians for each key (Gateway of the Squid, Monster Crab Clash, Guardian of the Deep and Shadow Snapper's guardians). The only guardian missing is a manta ray guardian, and as discussed quite a while back that it would be difficult to design, I guess they just made a last guardian and threw the last key in. Yeah, I noticed the gears too. Admittingly, they could be for decoration (hey, maybe!), but there may be a function. Also, the "STAP" looks like it was made with leftover parts from the Sea Jet impulse set.

That's what I thought the torso was, but it looks more like a dark blue colour to me. If it is that piece, then there'll probably not be normal legs underneath, if at all. Or, maybe the driver is one of those toys... The toys that are weighed at the bottom and will stand back up if tipped over.
-
Yes, it does appear to be a nose on further inspection. I'm pretty sure that doesn't have an ordinary torso, either. The trash compacter set looks like a perfect match for the garbage truck set. The dirty Woody and LGM minifigs are okay if you have the originals. I'd like to have some more LGMs (I'll only have one from the pizza truck), but I won't be able to afford this set. Hamm also appears to have coins falling out of him in the set; while it's expected with the slot, it's still a neat little detail.

Great! I've never really tried to enhance mine, because of a lack of technic parts.

Mid-Scale Republic Gunship & Dropship/AT-TE
Delta 38 replied to gotoAndLego's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Great! Unfortunately, I haven't and won't get either of the sets. I wish this was an official set, it'd be good for budgets. -
Exactly what I was going to say! Again, it's probably size. The disclaimers and legal stuff take up the other space. Of course, the contents are what matter, but try telling that to Lego with their oversized boxes.
-
Great. Wow, there have been so many creative uses for these bases in MOCs lately...
-
Ooh, I didn't know there were two katana in the set. Unless it's an extra piece, I didn't notice that before.
-
Well there was a celebration in the movie anyway. I wanted to do my own version, but I couldn't have possibly done it on a scale like this. Not to mention I don't have any Ewoks...
-
Looks great. I like the Wampa and Tauntaun.

The back is a big improvement. It looks more powerful, where the Seabed Scavenger was more like a light scout vehicle. Four wheels work quite well.
-
Nice. I think some more lime green would be nice, and the shape could be a bit more improved, but overall good. The addition of the snake matches the colour scheme, too.
-
Nice. I think the two themes work perfectly together. Even in space themes, there still has to be some vehicle to construct things with, so logically it would make sense.
-
Indeed, very true. It doesn't look too bad to me. Sure, there's a giant piece, but... It's probably because of size issues. The top (or maybe the side in some sets, I don't remember) of the box is meant to show the minifigs in actual size.
