Quiz: Which Chima tribe would you fit into?
dr_spock replied to Bricknave's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
If you were in Chima, the Lions would accept you as an honorary member of their tribe! You'd be able to help them protect the mystical Chi from Cragger and his goons! Cool, I like cats.- 29 replies

Poisson d'avril? -
Depends on how many of those odd pieces you have. When I started, I just keep them in a separate shoebox type container. Now that my collection has grown, I have them in separate zip lock bags if I have multiples. I may have to re-think my current sorting strategy that if my collection gets any bigger.

The Bull Dog Police Mech was created in response to a string of armed robberies of golden treasure chests in peaceful Fabuland. Stop in the name of the law! Put your hands up in the air!

Excellent job capturing the Fabuland look and feel. And without any Fabuland parts too!

The main purpose of any for-profit company is to make money for its owners or shareholders. Must buy Lego.

I think Lego sees Asia as an emerging growth market. Their current factories may not have the capacity to service their expected demand. Having a factory in the region means they'll spend less on shipping and quicker to market.

For simpler sets and number bag sets, I don't bother with sorting. It is not hard to find the piece needed in the pile quickly. For sets with a 1000+ pieces in unnumbered bags, some sorting will help the build go smoother and less frustration in finding that one unique small piece among thousands.

Thanks. I found an engine on ebay. It was about $75 + $35 shipping. Bricklink wasn't much better. A new full set looks like a better deal. So I picked up a second set and some VIP points.
