  1. I wouldn't dare imagine what the time lag would be in a situation like THAT? X-D
  2. It's the first thing I did (that and asking for repalcement ;-) ) I don't have my camera anymore... (well, not untill late next week) but I'll post one then. In the meantime, I can send you back in the RC Review thread where there's a picture of a full Qui Gon Fig.
  3. I'd say Maxilos too. It's got the best build. I love the way they designed his body. *wub* But if you go for looks alone, then Hydraxon is the guy... X-D
  4. I don't know about you, but it seems to me that this set is Cursed! I mean look at how many peaple complained about the wrong pieces and such being in this set. I finally managed to buy myself one last monday, and I couldn't help shudder before opening the box... Please, be a good one with all the problems sorted, pleaaaase! So I opened the box and the first thing I did was look at the instructions booklets. one 1/2 and one 2/2! Fiuuuuuh that's one cheked. Now the heads! 2 generic ones, Obi Wan and Yay! Qui Gon. Cool They did sorted those sets! Or so I thought... No sooner than Step 4 did I came across my first gripe : The axle thing that holds one of the lading gear didn't come out of it's mold right... Just look at that! what am I supposed to do with a part like that? Grate it? And then it gets worse... Around three steps later, I find out that one of the technic pins with a balled end isn't molded right either! the pin end isn't finished, like there wasn't enough plastic to make a whole one... I know that Lego has had some problems in some sets, as I heard so many people complainig about this or that part. But it seems to me that this set here is the one I heard about the most in this wrong part conversation... Luckily, it's only minor parts in my case, but still, please TLC just get a grip on yourself!!!!
  5. You can definitely count me in, too *y* But I can't help wonder how it'll work with the time lag between all the participants (we don't really all live on the same continent, do we)...
  6. They started appearing in Belgium, too, along with the RC. I found some at Jouet Broze, which is weird, since I thought they were TrU exclusives... Then again, Carrefour got some Bridge Walker vs White Lightnening last year... But I'm not going to complain. The RC is even only 90
  7. er... Aren't they supposed to fight for a split-in-half mountain or something? :-/ Or did they finally realise that the world is a bit bigger than that little piece of rock...
  8. can you add me in that PM list as well, please? I'm really curious...
  9. I don't quite picture what you're saying there... Can you post a pic of the other side of the door? the one without the handle.
  10. well, you can use "savoir" to say "I can" when you're capable of doing something because you know how to do it. and "pouvoir" is more often used when you have a permission (being from a rule, law or a metaphysical one) to do what you're about to do. hope that helps... But then again, since french is my mother language, I have a terrible knowledge of its grammatical rules, so I might be completely off track... But it feels right to me :-P
  11. wow, I love it. Especially the door mechanism. very clever. But is there a reason why there seem to be some 1x1 round tile missing on the right, here? And the boxiness really is a plus, here. It makes the whole "containment" part of that cell.
  12. well, there are the Ywing, the Jedi starfighter ep III, Vader's TIE advance X1 and the TIE fighter... and the Awing, Bwing and MTT but they have only been released in two versions so far. But I can't quite remember the release dates of each. that makes quite a few, come to think of it...
  13. Well, I guess I'l pass judgement untill I see better pictures... Since I don't care much about the storyline, I only buy the sets that I think look cool, purely on a personnal feeling basis and not how they're supposed to be because of X and Y that happened in the story ;-) And by the way, didn't I hear somewhere there was going to be a huge 70$ set? Maybe that'll be the new Makuta X-D
  14. Ok, I'm in! Part of what I'm studying at school is post production. So I can remaster the sounds and voice acting to fit with the video. For any version, of course. And I can do a french translation of the script too, if needed... But I'm a terrible actor, so unless there isn't enough people to do the french acting, I'd rather not spoil the whole thing by mine :-P
  15. Man I wish that set wasn't soooo expensive!!!! *wub* *wub* *wub* By the way, I can't quite figure out if the landing gear is retractable or not... Is it?
  16. If I may ad my little pebble in the pond : Orcs were entirely created by Tolkien in the Lord of the Rings and later on in all of his history of Middle Earth (which explains why he called them Goblins in "The Hobbit"). Whereas Trolls and Goblins are from common folklore out of different fairy tales and mythologies of old (mainly the scandinavian one). But Tolkien's story got so much popular that Orcs became a common creature in heroic fantasy. That's why we find them in lots and lots of different fantasy universe. But I love the way TLC is going! and those little green men do look mean, whatever we decide to call them. And Dwarves! I've always loved Fantasy Dwarves and their hot temper and all *wub* !
  17. From what I've learnt by watching the dvd with the commentaries by Del Toro, The main story itself follows quite closely the comics but in the comics, the characters are not as deep psychologically wise. Del Toro wanted his characters to feel as real as possible, so he emphasized a lot on the interaction between them (hence the romance between Hellboy and Liz) but Mignola was really impressed by his interpretation of the comic, saying that the Hellboy from the film is more Del Toro's than his... He even looks forward to what he'll become in the second film. (and so am I X-D )
  18. wow, happy birthday! X-D
  19. I thought it might interest some people in Brussels : I went by in the City2 mall this afternoon and in the blokker shop they were selling a few cranes for 71
  20. Finally!!! Rebel soldiers!! sweet! and they didn't even took advantage of the demand by putting only a very few figs in a huge and expensive set like they did for the first Stromie (ok, the TIE Fighter wasn't so huge nor expensive, but you got the idea :-P )... Very nice of TLC *y* The Hailfire looks really good. And it seems to be much smaller than the old one (which I was sorry to have missed...) And the AT-AP looks good as well, thouth I waonder how they managed to acheive it's balance *wacko* ... Unfortunately, it's rather expensive... As for the RS, I think it suffers from the same thing as the TIE Crawler : a lack of history so far. I mean we don't know anything about it, we've never seen it anywhere yet, so it can't have grown in our mind like every other ship in the films (or the books and the comics that have already come out) has... Right now, I'm not a big fan of it, but I'm sure once I've played and finished the game and all it's spin off, it's gonna be a whole different matter... Wait and see, as they say 2008 Greatness ON
  21. *sing mode on* Why do we always come here? I guess we'll never know... *sing mode off* An anti-Henson???! Who'd ever want something like that???! He's the greatest of them all! There's noone like him or as talented???! nonononono, I'd rather see muppets everywhere than have an anti henson! ok, maybe I'm too infected, now... X-O
  22. swinging on the wave but still not quite getting it... :-/ Stauder I'm willing to go on a demonstration to get some answers! Two guys shouting in the streets ON! *sing* (since we're two, we can even carry a banner! X-D )
  23. Mmmmmh, those Micro Trains sound interesting... :-$ And those scary creatures too... I wonder what they'll be like...
