  1. Hello MontanaVista! Glad to hear your story, hopefully Lego will help you keep the in your life!
  2. This is amazing cagri! Do you have an idea of how many brown plates you used? The brick effect is perfect.
  3. Wooow lots of drums involved ^^
  4. "drums" really? I'm into music too and I'd like to see your video! To stay in the topic, can't we say there are nerd lego-users and non-nerd lego-users? A difference can obviously been made between collectors and MOCers...
  5. Your definition looks right to me. It's true star wars doubles the nerdyness of the bricks
  6. Is the term "nerd" still of actuality? With video-games being very popular, people wearing geeky clothes (seen on EB: a guy of black eyed peas with a cap made of bricks), I think the whole notion is changing. Nerdyness is becoming somewhat cool. See EB member Pinky as he describes himself: would you think, seeing that guy in the street, that he has a passion for lego? Actually, there are so many different people sharing this hobby that "nerd" can't apply anymore, it would be too restrictive. So, if some ignorant call us nerds, BearHeart is right: why should we care? This doesn't make sense. P.S: People important to me, my friends, use to find my collection and mocs pretty cool and don't even seem to think "that's neeerdy". Maybe because they're in their twenties? P.P.S: The crazy one: luckily I don't correspond to your stereotype! My trousers are normal, my eyes don't need correction and my only piece of clothing that can be qualified as nerdy is a t-shirt like this one.
  7. Hi Teazza! I like your design, especially the front (although it's true it may not be adapted for the function of this vehicle in particular), it makes me think about the A Team GMC driven by Mr T . Aggressive, black, efficient: really cool truck :) Nice job too achieving to fit this much minifigs inside.
  8. Hi Dede, nice to see quelques compatriotes ici! Enjoy this site, it's pure fun and awesomeness. I hope we'll see your work soon. Paul
  9. Very cool animation! This could be a nice ad although I don't see for what brand. Really nice job fallentomato, I love it
  10. Wwwow I would love to see this MOC in real bricks! I usually don't pay too much attention to LDD MOCs, but your work very nice. Nice and nicely done alienwar9
  11. This is excellent! You NEED to develop something in this kind of sci-fi universe, a background story, a comic, a brickfilm... (if not already done), this MOC is very dense from a building point of view for the characters too. I love it. When do you sell the license to georges lucas?
  12. True about the introduction, but I don't care, Dr Kilroy's face seems so expressive in this kind of situation! Nice brickfilms, I'm a conformist!
  13. I had a good laugh!!! It's been facebooked
  14. Hello Brick Man, I did it! You don't have to buy an official lego keychain for that, or you will just end up with a messed up fig and a metal part that is not even a screw (at least in my blue brick keychain, it's not a screw, just a stalk with dents on it). Just take a look.
  15. It's a 1x1 stud with a hole that can be only found in the Lego games such as "shave a sheep", or the one with the robots I think. And.. BEST BRICK-BUILT TURKEY EVER!
  16. I'm afraid you've become an AFOL très cher compatriote! The space theme is not gone, you have Space Police 3, you can still grab the second wave of sets and even the first. There are some cool design and characters with a real personality. There's also a city Space theme, with this and some smaller sets are coming for 2011. Enjoy eurobricks, here you will see some of the best creations and take advices from the best builders. Hope we'll see some of your MOCs soon!
  17. I'm scanning you some pages so you can make your opinion. There's a central poster that looks cool yet a bit childish
  18. Where did you get that date? It would be great, I think I'm going to harass my friends and family until Xmas!
  19. The official website had an update, take a look!
  20. I hope not. Or a least I hope they won't use the mouth design we can see in the pics. Although double expressions can be fun, I hate the facts that it prevents your minifig from wearing a cap or a hat, unless you want it to look like it has lord voldemort on the back of its head... I was happy with my single face Johnny and friends. At least we can suppose that Dr Hale doesn't have a double sided head, because of his hat.
  21. There has been a website update! And this was a generous one: we learn more about Jack Raines, one of the new vehicles is featured, and Dr hale gives us a translation of the story of the (bad) Pharaoh Amset-Ra. I love this theme
  22. Well it looks like it's on maintenance today. No, I don't check the website every day, don't look at me like that! I hope that's because they're updating it!!!
  23. Sure we are! And anubis heads to! Didn't you see the preliminary pictures? (I can send them to you if you want)
  24. THAT is exciting I've been waiting 10 years for the return of the adventurers, and although we will never see johnny again, a first look at this small (for now) website makes me confident in this theme. There will be a cool story, elaborated characters and finally action! For me, the Adventurers are back (I hope there will be more sets, although using "Pharaoh's Quest" as a theme name prevent our heroes to travel to, let's say, Dino island )
  25. Man, this must have taken hours and hours, so build, to photograph, to edit, to add sounds, oh well, you did a reeeaally great job!!! I'll sure subscribe to your channel as soon as I make a different account for my band, I don't want everything mixed together. I first thought you were French but you sure have no French accent where are you from? I hope you will provide us some more cool brick-films! Harry Potter is becoming trendy! When will you make a 3D brick-film? Keep bricking!
