  1. He's on a special Pirate drug, that's why he is not even attached to the tree or something, he is totally armless
  2. Hello there, Although I'm not really into pirates, I created last night a little MOC, which actually is a preliminary work for an Adventurers MOC. I don't have access to my collection for the holidays so I did with what I had, some pirates sets and a small PAB order . Here is my Pirate treehouse/campsite/outpost/hideout whatever It features an opening door with a scale to climb on, removable roof and a treasure for the pirates to keep jealously More pics on my Brickshelf This was just a trial for making a tree with something in it where minifigs can stay, but any comments and criticism are still welcome
  3. It seems that I'm not the only one who thought about that technique for an exploding minifig head! Great comic, I laughed at every picture
  4. Oh I hate you I scream clone for having created this totally awesome gigantic tree with a house in it! I actually wanted to build something like that for my adventurers, but you made me realise I didn't have enough brown parts or leaf parts, so my project would look quite ridiculous compared to yours... I truly love your sanctuary, it's not only a very good moc with funny details, it's a beautiful brown and green sculpture. Keep bricking!
  5. Wow wow wow man, I think I'm going to love it! Your clean and sober designs perfectly suit this good old video-game You definitely can count me as one of your best fans!
  6. Hi Adam I don't know if I'll help you a lot but here is what I do: I have boxes like yours for small parts (1x1), minifigs accessories and some plates. I prefer sorting out my parts by form, ex: 2x6 plates, 1x2 bricks etc. When I don't own lot of a certain part, I make a group of parts which have a similar function, for example every little part (1x1) that has a connection clip. Actually, I NEVER sort by color (so I don't have a mix of simple black bricks with black technic connectors or else) because I think it's easier for your brain to find the colour of your choice in a pile of similar parts than to find one particuliar form in an all blue or yellow bin. Because my collection is very very small, I store all the parts that don't have too much friends similar to them in a drawer ( a cheap plastic box from any supermarket, with 3 or more drawers). So yes, I have some drawers full of very different parts mixed up together, but as they are very specific parts it's easy to spot one in the mess. For the basic plates and bricks, they are sorted out in a box like that. I sometimes clip similar bricks all together. Well hum ok now I'm realizing that my collection may look like a real mess to you, but keep in mind that the better way to do it is your own way! (since you can find what you are searching when you want it) ...or you could use this thread, which I should have noticed too
  7. héhé the final pic is cute^^
  8. Hi! Your folder is not visible yet. You should take a look at those tutorials, it really helped me post my pics here!
  9. Very clever construction! Sorry but I dislike the tail connections, they seem a bit weak and we would never see that in an official set. Maybe it's just me, considering that this technique is used a lot around here in EB. Maybe I should start a debate.
  10. I love it!!! You obviously payed attention to every detail, the soundtrack is perfect and so is the animation. Hail to Harold! I really hope to see more of your work NXTManiac
  11. Ahaha I just love his tongue sticking out of his mouth and his big crazy eyes! He has a very cartoonish style an the structure of the head seems quite complex. You should try some other bestioles with a similar cartoon feel.
  12. Hey salut

  13. Héhé nice little death-machine
  14. I can't wait to see your first scene! Be accurate, I have great expectations! No, I don't want to put pressure on you I love how you put inverted cheese slopes on the back of the car, I've never thought about this design and I have never seen it anywhere. It took me a while to actually understand how you did that. I'll keep an eye on your work
  15. Thank you guys, sorry again for the bad pictures. And the lack of a proper background. And the color mismatch. This construction will be demolished soon to incorporate new part I just received.
  16. héhéhé The last picture is so real... Aouch That made me laugh, every image is veryy good you made really a nice comic
  17. Hi! When I was a kid I was obsessed by my Dino Research Compound, I just couldn't stop playing with it. As an AFOL, I tried to recreate the feeling of it, with some used adventurers sets I got for a reasonable price and most of the parts of the 5987 somebody sold me for 15€. I don't own a lot of parts so my MOC sometimes suffers of bad colors.. Anyway here is my... AVENTURERS BASE A view of the front of the building A close-up of the front. The base is supposed to be half built in a cave/close to a mountain... Working garage door! A pic of the side, imagine it all grey, or all brown And here come the interior: It is full of life! Including non-human... beuuurk Some crates and guns ready to be taken for an exploration. I like how you can stack those brown crates. The storage room, behind the truck, where our friend Johnny is getting ready for some expedition. Notice that his backpack will not only contain his lunch Here we have Mrs Read operating the radar to track some dinosaurs on the island. There is also a hidden machine gun. The small kitchen. I added the cook from the BBQ stand just for fun, he's not part of any adventurers-related scenario Here is the Professor's office. From his desk he can keep an eye on all the base. I love the printed parts with the pictures of johnny thunder, I'm really happy to have those two! If you know about the Research Compound, you should remember this structure, which used to protect a radar... Well my version is a little more aggressive And finally, because vehicles have always been important to the Adventurers theme, let me show you those two cars: A little truck full of villains And a modified version of the sooo great Scorpion Tracker Ok I'm done now! I'm not really satisfied with this base, I find it a bit childish and it definitely needs more brown parts. Actually, it looks like something I would have built as a kid, so we can say that I caught the idea of a new research compound The pictures were taken with my Nokia 5530, so they are bad. I'll steal a real camera next time. I would love some comments and constructive criticism, it's always a pleasure to share ideas withs FOLs See ya!
  18. That's just awesome Catarino! How did you do this wheel? The whole thing looks very robust and stable on the video.
  19. Hi Nick, I can't wait to see your animation!!!!! I just totally loved DRIVER when I was a kid (at least until I discover GTA ^^). Your project is for me one of the most exciting things I've seen those days on EB. Will you post some other cars and stuff? Don't forget to include the flying trash-cans when Tanner takes a little street to avoid the cops Hope I'll see you again soon!
  20. Hello guys, I'm new, my name is Brad, I'm from L.A., I try to work as a comedian and I love to play with my kid's lego. No just kidding:grin: But I think I'm not the only to think it would be quite cool to have him here!
  21. Hey Urukhai you have some good looking brick-built trees! I wish I had as much green slopes as you. I really like it, I think I will borrow you your design in the future. Oh and as BrickClick said, those orcs don't look too menacing
  22. Hi Alessandro, I would love to hear your band, it must be some heavy rock'n'roll to fit your Harley-Davidson! I hope you will have fun here:classic:
  23. I just bought this set on sales at S@H (3,48€! ) I always need some brown parts to create some Adventurers related buildings, and thought it was a good price! Looking carefully to the parts it was hard for me to see the color problems but yeah there are at least two different brown. But I don't really care, I even think it's more realistic when it is supposed to be some parts made of wood in a MOC. My only regret is that I didn't buy two or three more of those little guys:blush:
  24. Thank you! This stud is the best I've found for the Mentos. Isn't it the smallest mesurable lego part? And you're right, Vincent Kessels, but if he parts exist in lego, then it is possible in the lego world! That's why we love it:sweet:
  25. Hi everyone, here is my first post, not a big moc, just a little story I made to make my girlfriend laugh. So here is Barney. Barney owns a brand new 2l bottle of diet coke, and found a few Mentos sweets. He would like to recreate a funny experience he saw on youtube, but he's not able to remember exactly how it is supposed to work.(If you don't know about it, check on Youtube diet coke + mentos) Anyway, here he is in his garden: Look, he's drinking the whole bottle! Then he eats a Mentos to mix the two ingredients. Whooops! That looked a lot better on Youtube Barney! Yep! That was my first time ever trying to post stuff, comments and criticism really are welcome Epilogue: Dude, you spend too much time on Youtube!
