  1. Great job Rufus! My yet to be photographed entry is located in an oasis too, but I'm afraid it won't stand a chance against yours. The modularity is great and you achieve to give an oasis feel with a quite small area (foutain and tree) . Good luck in the contest!
  2. Wow you REALLY want replies! I suppose the big Hero Factory canister is 1st prize and the collectable minifig the 2nd prize? I like both! Can I answer another 10 questionnaires please?
  3. I think this MOC, as well as Lego-maniac's one, Tazmaniac's ones, 2 Much Caffeine etc should be DESTROYED by any means to leave poor unskilled and badly equipped builders (like myself) some tiny little chance in this awesome contest! No, seriously, your work here is fantastic Captain Spaulding, the chains hanging of the rock guy, the vegetation (awesome cheerleader plants!), the SNOT(everywhere!). There is still an unidentified plant part, sticking out of some holes in the snot sand, what is it? Is it custom? Best luck in the contest!
  4. I have no intention to stop you, you produce great MOCs with this theme Congrats for your 1111th post! Oh, thank you very much Siegfried, that wasn't my intention at all. I was just looking for an... atmosphere I guess. Of course it didn't need to sound so serious
  5. Mmkay you don't seem to know what you want. Good luck in your trades people.
  6. So will you send items to me?
  7. Try to edit your post to tease the members with this or even this if you can find some in the Lego store in Hamburg. We love them! A punk rocker for me please! just kidding Hope you'll get interesting data for your thesis.
  8. mm well, I suppose as a student that you're short on money, so why not just give away a small impulse set or a (few) collectible minifig(s)*? I'm SURE that would make your mailbox full of questionnaires, and 4 pages instead of 2! (*Or sweets )
  9. This is so true on some french beaches... I love your details such as the trapped fish an the things hung in the vegetation when the water comes down.
  10. So... what about the raffle?
  11. But those little pegs were so useful for connecting flame parts to flame parts... They will be missed. At least we can still find the old parts in the parallel market The new less "neon" orange color is great, more realistic, by the way.
  12. Hi Cole! Awesome first MOC posted! The proportion are great, and I like your brick-built elephants (your design?). Is the mountain the place where the gods live? Pretty clever the use of the green hinge parts for the "toes" of your turtle. I see you're new, why don't you go present yourself in the dedicated topic? Hope to see other discworld MOCs, have fun here! Paul
  13. Er... I think I'll pay when I'll receive the bag
  14. Ouch I forgot about it. As a new member here you need to have written 10 posts before being able to use the messenger... I don't think the staff will like it if you just spam.
  15. Ok I'll try to answer as clearly as I can. How do I give it back to you?
  16. I love this thread Here's my attempt: This part is... special (Sorry for the bad quality: no camera+zero editing skills=crap)
  17. I might be interested, depends on what parts you are selling.
  18. Hi Diana! Soo... you're not a lego fan, are you? Anyway I'll be happy to help .
  19. I am! And I didn't need to go deep to find this: Its Anakin's head from the freeco speeder set. I have no use for it as it is flesh and it's too complex in its design to be painted yellow like my other flesh heads. It's 1,57€ on bricklink! That's crazy. I still have the other parts I had to give. Have good day everyone.
  20. Oh thanks, I finally figured it out when I took a look at your 3 big flowers which are (I suppose) on a little 3branch grass part. That's a clever way to put some variety in the greenery!
  21. I love your landscape Etzel! The three color water gives an idea of the depth of the pond The interior of the hutt is very cute How his the chimney held at this angle?
  22. Really? I need to take another look. Pirate torsos are great too for adventurers. And for the flesh heads, I have a yellow pen! edit: Oh, yeah, Luke Skywalker... It fits well!
  23. That car has balls! Love it. And I'm glad to see I'm not the only one using this starwars torso for adventurers. Hope to see the full story soon!
  24. You're right I just realized that. I should have added "MOC" in the title. And of course I'm not serious, It's not as if TLG killed baby seals to make bricks! I just wanted to share my opinion with other AFOLs through a quick made MOC.
  25. (edit: this was a joke, there is no problem with TLG, keep buying anything you want! ) Hi fellows, here's something I wanted to share. It would have deserved better photography and better MOCing, but the idea is quite clear: ATLANTIS TEAM VITAL FLUID EXTRACTOR (or how chrome parts are done) You thought those divers with cute lime green suits were kind scientists, hoping to help cure cancer or stop hunger in the world? NO! They are evil mercenaries who slaughter innocent creatures to make themselves rich! The shark warrior, hammerhead warrior and all their friends are very different from any other common fish: there is, in their body, a fluid with amazing properties. The Atlantis team quickly understood the profit they could make by using it to sell object a thousand times their price after having them chromed in their horrible machine. One creature is put into the extraction tank and dies slowly while the liquid comes out of his body and go through the machine to chrome 2 or 3 object. Then his body goes to the soup and another atlantis warrior is condemned. Am I the only who got shocked seeing the Atlantis movie? I mean, those guys (the humans) merely want to go to Atlantis to steal a treasure, and they get rid of every creature in their path to achieve it. (City of atlantis/living creatures/treasure, America/native-Americans/land, some other parallels could be made.) Is this what we want our children to grow up with? That's just something I had in mind.
