  1. Thanks a lot! Ofcoure it does...) But the front axle is completely redesigned for mini LA.
  2. Sure! Drivetrain is pretty simple: The motor is connected to U-joint which goes through the cab. Uou can see the rest of the drivetrain in this picture: 7 by DB_Kit Fisto, on Flickr As for the steering, just behind chrome 6 x 6 assembly with wires attachment you can notice black 20T gear.L-motor under the cab -> 12/20 reduction -> CV-joint to mini LA installed on the axle. 4 by DB_Kit Fisto, on Flickr
  3. A short video to show the speed and leds :) https://www.youtube....Pgw6EDF0
  4. Thanks all! About the stripes on the tanks: It`s an aluminium band which is used for thermal insulation works. It looks like this: You only need to cut the size you want and the sticker is ready!) (quote from wip topic) As fot the video, I`m not sure it`s needed that much, but I`ll try to do something when I have some spare time from studying...
  5. Well, I think I went for a compromiss with one side being taken by battery box and IR-receiver and one side having interrior. 9 by DB_Kit Fisto, on Flickr It seems rather minimalistic, but it`s just what the real one has in the cab: By the way, here is the source I used to create the model : http://forum.autoins...pic.php?id=2187 The main goal was to hide ALL pf elemnets inside the cab and the hood, so BB behind the cab wasn`t an option for me. Thanks for the kind words!
  6. Thanks No trailer, cause I actually find trailers quite boring to build Just my opininon ofcourse :)
  7. Hi guys! Here is my latest model, Mack B75 in scale ~1:17.5.Chromed parts arrived yesterday, so now I can call it`s finished :) WIP topic: http://www.eurobrick...opic=119378&hl= Some info : PF L-motor drive geared down 12:24 PF L-motor steering via mini linear actuator Ackerman steering geometry Full suspension(credits for rear axles go to 2Legoornot2Lego) Front PF LED lights And photos: Mack B-75 by DB_Kit Fisto, on Flickr 3 by DB_Kit Fisto, on Flickr 4 by DB_Kit Fisto, on Flickr 11 by DB_Kit Fisto, on Flickr More photos in my Flickr album: https://www.flickr.c...157665289567976
  8. Thanks, Ingmar! The chromed parts will be wheels and radiator grills:)I really like the rest in black:) And of course I'll make better pictures!these were made by phone just because it's fast...
  9. Thanks for all your replies! @Motomatt: It`s an aluminium band which is used for thermal insulation works. It looks like this: You only need to cut the size you want and the sticker is ready!) I`ve received all the parts needed and now only waiting for the chromed ones.Size comprassion with 42009:
  10. To be honest, I was just going to leave it as it is..Turning around isn`t an option, cause it means adding 1 more bush to the axle the wheel is attached to => far from steering point. But may be I`ll do smth with it..
  11. Because they will be black :) I just don`t have them atm, need to do BL order...
  12. 99% finished...Needs chromed wheels, some stickers and rear-view mirrors.
  13. Thanks! After some late night building...
  14. It`s update time! 1)Bonnet is fully finished(I think so) 2)Fuel tank reworked(again) 3)Added interrior details 4)Cab is gettin shape Atm I miss 3 more chrome grills, so radiator grill is metallic silver now..
  15. Thanks, Ingmar! Current stage: 1)Brick-built tank added, drive motor changed to L with 12:20-12:24 gearing. For now it`s working perfectly, I really hope it will be able to carry the full weight of the truck.L-motor is sitting under the bonnet now..Tank closer: The black 1 x 6 arch on the 2nd pic shows end of a cab.
  16. Well, I don`t really miss it...In my opinion, it`s not "true" modular:piece count, huge gap if connecting it to the others, the fact it`s fanat`s, not TLG design...Probably I`ll go for bricklinking it one day. but not sure:)
  17. Thanks for the replies, guys!Updated arch design: Still uses curved bricks, but now it`s much more round and less bulky, then it was before. In my opinion, curved brciks here is the best solution, as combinations of plates just make it look square... Tank is very far from final design, I`m still not sure if the XL-motor will be the tank, or I should place it to the cab and build the tank from bricks...
  18. Tnaks for the comments! Yes, there are LEDs in front lights I`m glad u like the bonnet, it was a very big challenge to get it look right..
  19. My collection Have place for 4 more, but actually, two, as I have to buy Detective`s Offcie and Brick bank
  20. Hi! Here is my latest project - old lovely Mack in the scale of 2Lego`s trucks... The chassis have been sitting on my shelfe for a very long time, but now it`s something more then just chassis:) Credits for rear axles go to Ingmar - they are a bit modified axles from his trucks Front axle is my own setup, which uses small LA for steering. At the moment I`m pretty satisfied with the front of truck. Today I spent a lot of time figuring out tank design.Do yu like it?Any suggestions?.. The tank isn`t finished, i don`t really like eht way 3x3 dish is attached, cause it has wobbling. The real one:
  21. Unbelievable, wanted to build the same machine...Lol Is it still ok with rules?
  22. May I ask you to share the gearbox instructins? It looks like you've finished this part already :)
  23. Thank you guys for your kind replies ! :) I haven`t recorded a video. because I don`t think It`s needed, it can only drive and steer... As for proportions, the height of the roof is correct due to the blueprints...The only problem may be the height of the front grill. It was a big headache to make it - I wanted to keep the number of black holes and grills like in the original.Unfortunately, I have found no other way to do it, except of stickers, but..Who loves stickers? But if somebody has an idea how to make the front grill more correct - I`ll be glad to hear.
