As rm8 mentioned, this month is "Month of Russian technics".So, let me be the 3rd with my new work that took me 8 months to do - Russian famous KAMAZ truck. Features: Front lights Scale - 1:16.7 RWD (like the real one) Width - 18 studs Ackerman steering (solid suspension on the front axle, based on 2Lego`s design) Differential on the rear axle (Classic technic suspension, don`t know how to name it) Many SNOT solutions like the front grill and the roof that were a very big headache. As for the technical solutions, the thing I`m very proud of is the steering mechanism. It was the biggest problem due to the weight of the cab, but the idea with using a minifig part decided it. Just to add, I have used some ideas from this work : http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=304715 My model: KAMA3 43253 by DB_Kit Fisto, on Flickr 1 by DB_Kit Fisto, on Flickr 3 by DB_Kit Fisto, on Flickr 4 by DB_Kit Fisto, on Flickr 2 by DB_Kit Fisto, on Flickr 5 by DB_Kit Fisto, on Flickr 6 by DB_Kit Fisto, on Flickr 7 by DB_Kit Fisto, on Flickr 8 by DB_Kit Fisto, on Flickr

Yep, ZED`s D9t is fully working with some very interesting desicions. He used neither LA`s nor pneumatics because they don`t look right. There are a lot of pictures in WIP folder where all mechanics are showed.I saw this, it`s very cool... -
Hi.I have just got 2 new IR V2 receivers, 2 9v-PF connectors and buggy motors. I started building a crawler and run one motor several times, later I disvovered that one port(the red one) stoped working,It`s neither the motor, no the BB problem. What`s interesting - I`ve tried to connect Servo to this port and it worked one only direction. While it was working, the green light on receiver was working(The same with buggy`s, green light works, but not the motor itself.)Did anyone come up against it?Is it a broken receiver?Or maybe some sort of protection has worked?

The quality of the spray is really awful comparing to these wonderful pieces from BL. You can check this : http://www.doublebrick.ru/mocs/kit-fisto/western-star-4900-ex-dump It`s the first version of the model with sprayed parts...All of them were discarded. Try to ask some auto tuning services, the only reason I ordered from BL is that in Russia it costs about 15dollars to chrome one part, I don`t know about Australia.

Hi, guys!I`m glad to present you my new work. It`s 1:22 scaled PF-driven truck, that took part in russian Hard Truck Contert competition.I was inspired by Bricksonwheels`s and ZED`s works, but mainly ideas are mine. The chrome parts come from: 1, 2 XL motor is geared 5:3(drive) M-motor is for steering. Is cutting piecies like this allowed? If I`m not mistaken it`s sometimes asked even in original sets.

New version(Now the first floor is living, the second is disco\night club. And yeah, it looks like it`s the first corner mini-modular in the contest).Photos: NEW, CONTEST VERSION: 1 by DB_Kit Fisto, on Flickr Bonus - the version my sister called "toyshop"
