  1. The Clone Wars series opens up a whole new avenue that Lego wants to take advantage of. Also, because of the fact that the PT started coming out 8 years ago, as opposed to the OT which came out 30 years ago, the PT is fresh in peoples minds, and little kids love it. More people are going to buy PT sets that they are familiar with than OT sets that they have never seen before. I am a big OT fan, and think Lego needs to get back to them. Maybe the live action tv show will open up the doors for some more sets that either look like OT items, or are prerequisites for some OT items.
  2. Looks like lego is having all kinds of problems. They added a Clone Wars section, with Anikans Starfighter, the two 2007 BP, and the Imperial Dropship. They need to take that last one out and add the Hailfire Droid and the AT-PT. Sorry about the language. Kind of a habit. Everyone in the US says it.
  3. I admit that it was expensive, but it was large, detailed, and too scale. I know that it is good for army building, but the hailfire droid is kind of useless compared to the size of the minifigs. I don't really have a preference for the price, but it just looks like the set is useless.
  4. This is probably the worst Star Wars set I have seen in a while. They made it smaller so they could add figs, which everybody wants. It looks junorized. That, along with the fact that they only included 3 storm troopers with the dropship and included a shadow trooper instead of a pilot disappoint me. Still, the AT-PT, Rebel BP, Anikan Starfighter, and other ship (can't think of name) are cool.
  5. Lego kind of rushes stuff sometimes, so they probably tried to put them on quick and just put them all under classic. That Hailfire droid is so gay. The original one from when Episode II came out was so much better and so much more realistic. It looks like Lego made it smaller to pack it with some droids. Everyone wants minifigs. It looks junorized.
  6. It would be pretty cool if Lego made that. There was no official USC Grievous starfighter. It was an MOC.
  7. Really nice. I think I have seen more TX tank MOC's than any other vehicle. Still, really good.
  8. On the episode ii Slave I, that is probably one of the worst sets I ever bought. It falls apart, has little playability, and is a hard build. I know you aren't into newer sets, but the OT Slave I that came out last year was a great set.
  9. I'm happy with Legos new direction. Sets based on all three of these things allows for so many more sets, especially EU sets we don't usually get. I think it is really cool.
  10. I don't think Lego has released anything that could really be used for a WW2 airforce. But, with Indiana Jones legos coming out, some sets might include planes.
  11. SWMAN

    Batship

Pretty cool. It looks like something from Batman Begins.
  12. If I still asked for legos, I would want the castle sets and some new star wars sets. But, I have not asked for or even gotten a lego set in over a year. I have decided that I am not really into them anymore.
  13. I think both are kind of weak. They are more like little schooners than flagships. Still, I have to go with the Imperial Flagship.
  14. I love all of the people building the fortification and how much detail you put into it. It really adds to the MOC and makes it feel like they are preparing for a major assault. I would love to see more soldiers, but other than that it is great.
  15. Looks like they are already lowering Castle prices. Maybe other stores will follow suit, and lower theirs as well.
  16. Lego never updates their products pages, so I wouldn't suggest going there to look at the sets or whatever for that theme. If you want to see sets, go to the shopping page. They update that frequently.
  17. I'm kind of in-between on this one. The hair piece and clothes are cool, but the face is kind of weird.
  18. Lego always does that to convince you to buy more sets and make the scenes. They do it all the time with star wars. The scenes are usually really cool.
  19. I own this set, and it is definitely worth your money. While it may be worth a little more now than it was when it first came out, it is a really cool set. You get a hoth Han and Leia, which were not releases in any other set besides the exclusive X-Wing, and you get Chewie and a snowtrooper, both of which you can add to their respective armies. This one is way more detailed than the first one, and the roof is made up of panels that flip up, allowing for easy access and playability. It is an all around solid set.
  20. The Hailfire Droid is way too small compared to everything else. I like the original version much better. It is more to scale and looks like the movie version. They just cut this one down so they could pack some droids with it and sell more of them. Not a big fan.
  21. I respect your opinion, but I don't think that many people want town sets. People like armies and sets you can use to have battles. I also think that the new Castle Line is the best we will ever get again, and is very good.
  22. If lego just buckled down and spent some time on some new sculpts, there could be so many cool Jedi figures. Kit Fisto was a step in the right direction, and Lego can take advantage of the new Clone Wars series to make a lot of cool random and major jedi characters.
  23. WOW! I am really impressed with your moc. You did a great job taking the mining aspect of the set and incorporating it into a totally new setting. I love the hill. It is really detailed and looks completley real. Great moc.
  24. I think that troll warrior is cool, but should be for bigger guys, not the individual soldies. While it sounds cool, which is why I voted for it, orc is probably the best.
  25. I can't decide. The printed is better for knights, while un-printed is better for just cavalry or soldiers. I can't decide.
