Interesting Rebels. I am personally not a big fan of torsos that are painted on, but to each their own. I really like Lukes endor torso to be used as rebels. Just my opinion though.

I don't think so. Palpatine was played by Ian McDarimad, not the pope.

I never got into Exo-Force. It came out after I stopped buying a lot of Legos, and I never got into the whole Magna feel to it. Still, it is always sad to see a theme end.

Help choose a Lego Star Wars 10th annaversiry set (2009)
SWMAN replied to Legoman's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I was originally completely against PT sets, but now that I have read about Jedi Temple ideas, I think that that set would be really cool. Either that or a Yavin Temple Rebel Base. -
I remember those. I have the B-Wing and the MTT. I am not sure what other ones have one.

Wow, those are all really cool. I love all of the new figures. I can't believe how many new figures lego is releasing this year. I like the new cartoonish feel to the figures, but the only problem with that is that they really don't match any other figures. The only other thing I don't like is the lack of Clones. I also really like how Lego is making more molded heads, like Plo Koon and the other new jedi.

Pretty cool customs. -
Help choose a Lego Star Wars 10th annaversiry set (2009)

This is a very debatable topic. If you watch the deleted scenes for ROTS, she is executed by Grievous. But, if you read other stuff, she was in the Temple at the time of the assault, and was killed by Vader. -
Help choose a Lego Star Wars 10th annaversiry set (2009)

All I know is that it has to be an OT set. Lego started with the OT, and it should celebrate with it. The PT is cool, but the OT still has a ton of sets that need to be made. Plus, with all these CW sets, we need a few OT sets. The one thing that I think it should not be is a USC. They are really cool, but don't appeal to the entire fan population. They are way to big for a lot of builders and take too much time for no playability. While they are cool, I think lego should release something that appeals to a lot more people. I think a new Cloud City might be nice, but I really think a brand new set should be released, not a remake. Here are my choices. 1. Endor Bunker 2. Tantive IV From the looks of it, Tantive IV is pretty popular. I think either this or the Endor Bunker would be amazing. Also, the Endor Bunker would open up a whole new avenue of Battle Packs and smaller sets, as well as bring back the ewok. -
Just saw this. Said he was able to finish the movie, which is good.

I never really got into the space themes. I had a few small sets, but they never really interested me. Still, cool moc.

I think that it would be a little too late now to start. The problem with doing legos off of video games is that there are probably a lot of lego fans that don't play. The only reason Lego can make The Force Unleashed Legos is because it has not come out yet and is getting a ton of press. The EU is a tricky place to go with legos. I mean, look at the Tie Crawler. Not a lot of press and not a lot of people who bought it or really liked it. I agree with some other posters in the fact that Lego would probably just make a few ships, some figs, and then let it go.
-
I am guessing no. Not a big enough brand to make a lego theme off of.
-
None of those are new sets. He just took some old KK sets and added new figs to them.
-
I would have to disagree with you on that one. I think it is the weakest of all of the sets. It is way too small compared to the minifigs and not nearly as detailed as the 2003(?) one. They tried to hard to make it small enough to include minifigs.
-
I think it looks like a cool set. I am just surprised at how little publicity it got. It was hot for a week or two, and then just died out.
-
WOW. That is amazing. Some of those latter pics are a little weird, but other than that, really cool.
-
Been like that ever since they put the new sets up. Hopefully when they add the next round of sets, it will be fixed.

I find that Lego seems to be making quite a few mistakes these days. This is ironic, considering that in their magazine they claim that "only the best is good enough" and that they have been making the highest quality material for a long time, yet they have mistakes in their instructions, have missing pieces, and other examples. Still, Lego is pretty cool and they have cool toys, so can't blame them too much.
-
Sweet set. I agree that it looks a little too much like the original, but the figs sound cool. Also, looks like you can now but figs into the turrets on the wings. Pretty sweet.

Thanks. The US one doesn't include any of the new Castle Sets, besides the knight. Interesting.

This post is simply for people to discuss if they want sets from the two movies and what sets. Sorry that I did not use the correct termanology. I will use "freaks" next time.

As the Batman Lego Theme continues to grow with new sets, one may ask themselves if/when we will see sets from Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. With Batman Begins being an extremely successful re-imagining of the series, there could be some great Lego sets. I like the sets with the classic Batman villains, who are all mutants of some kind, but some sets focusing on the more down-to-Earth new movies would be nice.

I am guessing he didn't have legs with a black belt, so he used the all white ones. Cool set.
