  1. Very nice. I love the detail.
  2. After seeing the new pictures, I like the new Falcon a lot more. Like they have said, it would be great for putting on your desk next to your computer. It is small enough where it doesn't take up a lot of room, but big enough that it has a lot of detail. This is a lot better than the old mini sets.
  3. I am guessing that the grey dome is an error that will be corrected.
  4. Now that I look at the torso, it probably would work for the French.
  5. Good analogy. However, I don't agree with it. I feel like these new Ewoks have more detail and a little more life in them. The old ones were too plain. The one-color thing didn't really work.
  6. The first one is nice, but what does the second one have to does with LOTR?
  7. In the movie, it is a rebel who steals the Biker Scouts armor. You can see him briefly when Han and Chewie first enter the bunker and then when the rebels are captured you can see him with the rest of the group.
  8. I just watched Troy, which was really quite good. I watched Twilight on Friday, which sucked big time.
  9. I have about 150 figures. I used to have around 400, but got rid of all of those with the rest of my Legos. If I had those today, I would have around 550-600.
  10. Good idea to change the color scheme, but red and yellow don't really go together. Personally, I would eliminate the red and lime and just go for yellow and white or something like that. Reduce it down to 2 or 3 colors.
  11. You are right. Also, no offense Captain Cavinano, because I am sure you put a lot of effort and time into it the game, but Facebook already has way too many apps and games on it.
  12. Interesting. I am not sure how much I like the yellow. Still, some of the added features are cool.
  13. I am guessing that Lego will take advantage of the new Endor set and release a few more sets based off of it.
  14. I have been reading a lot about it, and from what I understand, Arnold will be in it, kind of. There is an actor who is a body double for the Terminator, and they are using Arnie's voice and face for the character. Not 100% sure about this.
  15. I totally agree, and that is why I also stopped about 5-6 weeks ago. I only watched bits of the finale online to see what happened. As you said, it became way too philosophical and dramatic, losing the action part of it. The movies did a great job having tons of action while at the same time fitting in all the back story stuff. They showed an extended preview of the new movie during Bones last night, and it looks EPIC! While it does have a PG-13 rating, unlike previous R's, the MPAA has become really lax on violence lately, with Live Free or Die Hard and The Dark Knight being pretty violent but only getting PG-13. So, the action looks amazing and I am guessing that they didn't sacrifice anything to get the lower rating.
  16. While the new Endor set looks simply amazing, I have a feeling I will have to pass. I am running out of room for more Lego's, and honestly it has gotten out of hand. I just recently purchased the AT-OT and Dropship and for three weeks haven't touched it. It is still sitting in the box on my floor. I have no desire to build it anymore. So, I will take a break for a while. Too bad, because the set is simply awesome.
  17. I have to agree with what everyone has said. Lego has to protect themselves legally and financially. If they took customers ideas and used them to make products, customers could claim a profit. Also, I am sure that they get thousands of letters everyday referring to new products that people want to see. The simply do not have the time or manpower to sort through all of them looking for good ideas. It is not a personal attack on you, simply a response that they have to send out to everybody with similar inquires. Also, I am sure that the people who work for Lego know a little bit more about doing this than you do. No offense, but begging for them to make a large Imperial Flagship isn't going to work. They have probably looked at a million more possibilities for sets than they release, but fiscally they don't make sense. Saying that they never give us what we ask for is not entirely correct. Look at the poll that they put out for a new Star Wars set to celebrate the 10th Anniversary. Fans wanted Home One, and Lego is delivering. Also, look at the sets that have been designed by customers that have been turned into mass-produced sets. Saying that Lego should give you a set because you ask for it is like saying your parents should get you a BMW because you ask for it. A lot of people want one and they are really cool, but financially it is not responsible or even possible. Also, I am not really sure how comparing Lego, a toy company, to GM makes much sense. GM has simply not kept up with the changing times where people want smaller and more fuel-efficient cars. Lego is not competing with 20 other companies to make the most fuel-efficient plastic building block.
  18. I caught a little bit of the series finale, and with the way they ended it, the show needed to end. They pretty much wrapped up the story with the death of certain characters and the "movement" of others. I think the last few minutes is more evidence that they TV show doesn't really connect to the movies. I agree that the bedroom scene was pretty awkward. I didn't quiet understand what John was looking for, but I think it was really to show what their relationship could have been and what John's might be with the human she is based off of. Overall, I think it was a could attempt to to try to bring Terminator to the small screen, but they should not try again. With the new movie coming out, I could see them trying to make a series about the war. However, Christian Bale would never agree to do a TV series, and without him it would be pointless. Someone else as John would suck.
  19. I have no particular favorite sub-group, but my most favorite group is Episode 3 clones. They are a nice mix between retro Storm Troopers and modern Clone Troopers.
  20. Considering that the lines are on your Cannon Battle figure, I wouldn't worry. That figure is less than a year old, and Lego figures won't crack for a long time with limited-regular use, and probably 4-5 years with heavy use. Like others have said, putting the arms or legs into and out off sockets a lot will take their toll of the limb and the torso.
  21. Probably. I would not be surprised if that is what they did. It could also be the ability to pre-order a new set early or buy one of the smaller sets early.
  22. Thanks for the link. Those are really funny. I had to send that to a couple of my friends.
  23. Very nice diorama. It is quite realistic and has a lot of detailed figures. The terrorists and the army commandos are great as well.
  24. While it was a nice idea, trying to add motion by having shaky pictures really takes away from the MOC. The blurriness makes it hard to understand what is going on. It looks like a nice MOC, but with the blurry pictures it is hard to know what is going on.
  25. Personally I would add some white and blue and some more red. If you look at the sets that Lego has released recently, they have been pretty colorful. Try adding a little more shape to it.
