I just watched the footage from E3, and man does Modern Warfare 2 look amazing. I love the heart beat sensor.

While I agree that the first one was better, I feel that this one was also really good. While the story was kind of all over the place, it was still pretty decent. Also, the slow motion shots of Megan Fox running helped the film a lot. I kind of liked Mudflap and Skidz. While they were kind of stereotypical, they were funny.

Lego often makes little mistakes like this on packaging and in this case the actual sets.

Out of era call of duty game idea thread

I totally agree. While I like Star Wars, Lucasarts already takes care of Star Wars games. COD doesn't need to take over making Star Wars games. I think that a WWI would be doable, but again the idea of trench warfare would make it difficult to fight squad-based missions. Just running across a huge battlefield and getting mowed down wouldn't be that fun. And personally, I am not a fan of Medal of Honor. The gameplay is weak and the graphics aren't very good. They turn them out so quickly that the games suffer. -
I saw it at Midnight last night, and man was it amazing. It has some of the best special effects I have ever seen. I love how Bay included a lot more robots in this film. And I thought Megan Fox was hot in the first one. She is amazing in this one.

I just recently read a rumor that COD 7 is going to take place in Vietnam/The Cold War, which I believe is the next logical step in the series. They have pretty much beat WWII to death, with 4 of the main series and all of the expansion packs taking place during this war. Concerning wars that happened before the 20th century, I don't really think it would be possible. The weapons and style of warfare are not conducive to the idea of COD, which is small, squad-based actions. The type of guns would make it a pain to play, with terrible reload time and poor accuracy. I just don't think it would work. Also, I think Natmann8000 thinks that a game based on an older war would be less violent because you wouldn't be able to mow down people with a machine gun. And while the weapons would make it harder to kill people, those wars were much bloodier than wars are today. With modern medicine, soldiers can survive pretty severe injuries. And honestly, war games make companies millions upon millions of dollars. They are popular and fun. They aren't going to stop making them anytime soon. And Natmann8000. He wasn't trying to start a big argument. He was simply stating that he didn't understand your comment. Why is an older was ok, but a more modern one not? -
Very nice. Really high level of detail.

Yeah. But when when I made the topic, it was still being called COD Modern Warfare 2. I don't really like that they shortened the name. It almost feels like they are distancing the modern stuff from the series. While this would allow for a lot more games that were modern, it wouldn't feel right.

While it is a decent set with a lot of new figure, it could have been executed a lot better. First, my pluses. 1. Great Figure. I haven't seen this many new figures in a while. 2. The A-Wing is really a nice little update. 3. Definitely has playability. Faults 1. It could have had another pilot or a rebel trooper. 2. The hanger is way too small. 3. Overall it doesn't feel very realistic. While it's good, it could have been better.

First of. I am not sure if you don't have very good English or are too lazy, but here on Eurobricks we try to maintain proper grammar and spelling. We are completely understanding of people who don't speak very good English, but if you are simply too lazy then it will not be tolerated.

Oh. Ok. That's not that bad then. -
YU-GI-OH!: The Abridged Series

Personally, I find Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon and all other cartoons like that boring and very weak. I respect those who enjoy them, but I personally find them somewhat childish. -
I really love all of it, but especially your custom CIS leader.

So what kind of advice are you looking for? Color schemes?

Like we said. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. You just expressed it in an inappropriate matter.

That really is quite good. You obviously put a lot of time into it.

Which is your favorite Star Wars movie?
SWMAN replied to darkrebellion's topic in Culture & Multimedia
All three of the OT are pretty much tied in my book. My next favorite is ROTS, and then TPM and ATOC. ROTS was the best of the PT and have large battles and a decent story. It wrapped everything up for us. I actually like TPM. The story was decent and the Lightsaber duel as well as the Battle of Theed was good. Jar-Jar was of course annoying. While AOTC had a great final battle, the rest of it was weak dialogue and bad acting. Hayden Christensen was a horrible choice for Anakin. -
While I respect your opinions and the complaints that you have, you really need to tone it down a bit. Its fine to criticize a movie, but basically calling anyone who liked it (including me) retarded is a pretty severe insult. People have different tastes in movie. It's fine if you don't like it, but that doesn't mean that anyone who does is in the "bottom end of society". I don't think that the amount of insults for this and other movies was necessary. You simply could have said that you did not enjoy it for reasons x,y, and z. Also, your "subtle" little insults to other directors like Michael Bay was really not necessary. I agree with a few of your plot holes and reasons for not liking the movie, but to be this angry is unnecessary. You say people who did not like the movie are dumb, but yet you take up all this space ranting and raving about how terrible it is, when honestly you only have a few plot holes that are understandable to back it up.

I think that either he assumed that the Cloud Car set release by Lego was orange and so the red must be a MOC, or that Lego hasn't released one and this guy did his own red one. Either way, he was simply mistaken about the color of the set. Not a huge deal.

Do you have a set number or title. Otherwise, it will be a lot harder to find.

I am sure we are going to get new weapons, but just like with other COD games, the weapons will generally be the same. One thing I liked about COD 4 was that is had so many different weapons. A lot more than any previous games. Also, there will be a level where you ride snowmobiles, so that is new. There are going to be a lot more and diverse locations in this game as well. I definitely agree with the binocular part. I would have like to be able to zoom in on targets and know what I am getting into. I think that a level that was all night vision would be fun. I really like that with the Grenadier, it has a laser to help take out enemies. The night vision is fun, but it takes some getting used to.

It is a pretty good game. It is a mix of a Turn Based Strategy game and a Real Time Tactics game. You play on a huge map of the world, managing your major cities, including your economy, construction, and military. Essentially, you control an empire (hence the name). Then, if you want to capture a city or territory, you build an army and engage the enemy in a Real-Time battle, controlling thousands of men and using tactics and terrain to your advantage. All around, it is pretty fun. If you are into fast-paced first person shooters, this isn't the game for you. But, if you like strategy and don't mind a slow game, you should play the demo.

Wow. That is really neat. I love all the Steampunk stuff.

I can't wait until this movie comes out. I had low expectations for the first, and it simply blew me away. Not only were the special effects really good (Michael Bay directed it, so of course they are good) but the story and characters were really good. It didn't feel like a movie based off of a toy. I have never read any comics or seen any TV series based on Transformers, so I have no expectation for the story or characters and what should happen. Plus, Megan Fox is pretty hot, so you can't go wrong there.
