I think the AT-OT is better for all the reasons everyone has already said. It has more clone and more playability. The ship is just an empty shell if nothing is attached.

I think the real reason is that it simply does not have the same feeling or style as Classic Castle. For me, it all felt a little too kiddish. The bright colors and big rainbow swords were too unrealistic. I also did not like the fact that it had a set story and all of the sets conformed to it. There were only the 4 knights which didn't allow a lot of room for army building.

I agree. The only reason I think people do this is A: for a large-scale diorama and B: to see if they can. I enjoy building up my Clone and Battle Droid armies but only buy buying other sets. I am not willing to spend money just for figures from Bricklink.

Now that I think about, you are probably right. Unfortunately, the fact that it is NOT going to be true to the movies bothers me. "What-ifs" are great in Sci-Fi series for an episode arc or two as a totally different universe, but trying to incorporate that into a whole series doesn't do it for me. I feel that if they try to create too many different universes or ideas that they will hurt themselves. Being a big fan of the first two (the third kind of sucked), I don't like how they have diverged.

I have a bad habit now of buying what I can't find space for. I had to totally rearrange the sets in my room, putting my Castle sets packed together in order to get room for my Star Wars.

I have recently gotten back into Legos after moving from Missouri to Florida. Unfortunately, I got rid of all my Legos when I moved, so I have just started buying Castle and Star Wars sets. In my old house I have a huge shelving unit that allowed for a large display of Legos, so I was able to buy and display whatever I wanted. Now that I have moved, there is no room for a large shelving unit. I am limited to the top of a dresser and a small desk. I wish to purchase more Clone Wars sets to recreate a large battle, but simply do not have the room for every set I want. Just wondering if others have encountered this dilemma and how/if you have solved it.

Actually, it is not. A UCS set is an Ultimate Collector Series set, which is a highly detailed and large version of a well known vehicle or favorite space station. Examples are the Death Star, Death Star II, and Imperial Star Destroyer. The sets are not mini-figure scale and are not meant to be played with. The AT-OT and LAAT/LAAC, while large and expensive, is not a UCS because it is mini-fig scaled and meant to be played with. Sorry, just had to clarify that.

I don't have any of those games. I simply think it is nice that they offer the packs.

I am becoming more and more disappointed with the show. Last nights episode was a bad way to start of the spring episodes.

Both have a nice collection of figures, but personally I think the AT-TE is a better set. I would suggest getting a smaller Separatist set to combat your Republic set.

I was really hoping that it was going to be available March 3rd, not 30th. Still, can't wait to get it.

Now that I look, the gun is new. Very nice.

I like how they made it into an actual police theme in space with the enemies being different/random aliens and the good guys a police force. I also like the variety of the convicts and how they actually created new heads and designs. A lot of these can be used for Star Wars as well.

I am a big fan of Steam. It is nice to be able to buy and download a game in an easy and secure fashion. I love the variety and the fact that you can by packs of games. I am planning on purchasing the Half-Life pack.

After seeing the sets in the flesh, I like them a lot better than before. I won't be picking any up though because I will be picking up the new AT-OT and the Endor Bunker.

I noticed that. I am OK with that, but I am glad that they did not include just plain faces with Endor. I love the new helmets they have. A lot more realistic. It seems that Lego is making more detailed head gear these days, like Leia's hair and the Endor Commando's helmets.

While the price tag is large, luckily I have cash to spare on this set and then later the Endor set. I think that the price is acceptable due to the fact that you get two ships, 6 clones with room for more, plus the fact that it is compatible with the AT-TE all justify the price.

Very cool. Looks like something from Battlestar Galactica than Star Wars, but still very nice.

The only two sets I will be buying will be the Shield Generator and the AT-OT. Those two will make great displays. I am really pleased that the AT-OT will be released in March. I am glad Lego kept this secret until right before there are ready to release it. Everything else still looks prelim except for the AT-OT. Edit: Interesting that that picture shows March 30th. The press release said March 3rd. Might be a different release date for outside the USA.

No offense, but Toy Story is the best disney movie ever next to the Lion King. Prince of Persia is a great game and has lots of potential, and Cars is good too. I am sure that Wall-E will have sets soon, but the current three are really good too.

Many times over. Wow, that AT-OT and Gunship is probably the best set I have ever seen. While it will be really expensive, it will be well worth getting. The amount of clones that it comes with is amazing. That set alone justifies the Clone Wars line.

I started watching in September, and was hooked for about 3 months. All of a sudden, I stopped watching. I decided to buy the shows I missed on iTunes, and caught up. Now, I have no idea why I stopped watching. The show is interesting, exciting, and keeps me on edge.
