While I love the movies, I don't think that there would be enough sets that wouldn't be repetitive with the same characters. Also, I don't think a lot of people today know what it is.

First of all, please try to use better grammar and make actual sentences. Second, no offense, but I am going to wait until either mine arrives or, if one is done sooner, a review before I make my decision on whether or not I like it. I am not going to go off of one person's remarks. I respect your opinion, but I am really hoping it is better than OK for the amount of money I spent. An the reason they didn't include an AT-TE is that first, there is already one out there and second the Dropship is compatible with the AT-TE. And starstreak, you did next day to Hawaii? That must have cost an arm and a leg! I did standard to Florida and it cost me $18 to ship and $18 for tax, making it almost $300.

Two things. First, that was an off-topic remark that didn't really need to be made. And second, there will be someone at my house, so it would be waiting for me. Just ordered mine, so it WILL be waiting for me when I get home. YEAH!!!

Sorry, but your link doesn't work.

I never realized that the set did not include two complete Pod Racers. That is simply laziness on Lego's part.

Just FYI, the AT-OT and Dropship has been relegated to simply "Coming Soon" without a date. I see that they have been seen in stores, so I am assuming they will come out as scheduled. Unfortunately, I will be out of the country without my computer when it is released, so I will have to wait a few days before I can purchase it and it will not be waiting for me when I get home.

Read my post.

Very cool. Reminds me a little of a BSG Raptor.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles -- SPOILER ALERT !
SWMAN replied to SWMAN's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I was behind about 4 weeks, and finally decided to give up. It had been in the back of my mind for a while, and I was not really interested in watching four episodes. They got away from the action and started getting way too emotional and physiological for me. It became all about Sarah and her mental problems, plus the issues between Riley and John/Cameron/the other girl. -
Very nice, but I would suggest new and better pictures. The quality is kind of bad.

I did not watch last week, but I will watch all three tonight. I am sad that it is ending. Edit: Well, a great end to a great ride. I LOVED the series finale. They did a great job with the flashbacks tying in the whole show. The first half was simply epic, and the second half was very surprising. While I wish it wasn't ending, the two hour movie "The Plan" looks great, as well as the new series "Caprica", which we got a sneak peak at.

New Battlestar Galactica movie in the works
SWMAN replied to johnsocal's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I am not excited about this at all. Why would they take a series that has already been revisited and do it all over again. I think that it would not be very popular due to the fact that people are already familiar with the new series and love it. Making a movie based off the old TV series with the same story would end up not interesting people. -
No matter what my opinions of the Clone Wars, I am still excited for the show. SPECIAL EDITION OT DVD SET ROCKS!!! (Sorry, had to add that)
-
I think you need to calm down a little bit. Personally, I believe that the Clone Wars is too child-orientated for my taste. BSG and Heroes are amazing, especially BSG. It has intense plots, character development, and amazing twist and turns. I think Oky knows that he doesn't have to read your posts, but he is simply giving constructive criticism on how nobody likes sarcastic posts.
-
What do you mean "tv at it's best". There is a lot better TV than the Clone Wars.
-
I am not surprised it changed back. Lego has switched the date multiple times, and they picture says March 30th, so I think they will stick with that. I am glad they did because I need to upgrade my computer and I don't really want to be tempted to do that and buy the set.
-
I am excited that they are actually getting going on it. I will be curious to see an episode, but I am on the fence. If the Clone Wars is any sign of an attempt at Star Wars TV, then I am not going to get my hopes up.

Nice design. The only thing I will say is that it doesn't have any treads or wheels, so how does it get around?
-
I noticed that as well. Looks like a neat set.
-
Great design, but the colors seems to clash a little bit.
-
I like the 3D aspect and good graphics of the new series, but the stories of the old series. The new stories are pretty bad.
-
Nice body design, but personally it is a little too black for me. Try adding more gray and some color.
-
I am not a big fan either. I did not like the mini-sets, so I am not going to subscribe to Brickmaster if all I get are mini sets. I wish they would have impulse sets instead.
-
Very impressive. While I fell out of Harry Potter Lego's, it would have been nice to see them continue. I wish that they had done a better, more detailed version of Hogwarts.
-
Again, very creative and detailed. Keep them coming. It would be cool if you continued into the modern era with forts and such.
